M.V.Sc (Surgery)
Veterinarian, Mohali
You can use hygienic and moistened soft cloth or cotton balls for removing softly debris, dirt or any remnants of stool on the kitten's body. You can use moistened soft cloth or cotton with antiseptic like savlon mixed with water. You can use commercially available diet for kitten in name of whiskas.

Hi Doctor, We had given all vaccination's to our myson ,who is 2+ , lebra but some time we had noticed that he don't eat and avoid eating any thing. Also we had noticed that he want to have sex but after talking to so many people we are unable to get any friend for him. Would like to kindly suggest in this regards.

sexual instinct will be there in dog to the core for few months in a year as they are seasonal breeders . they can only have this period only so its better to have a playmate for him at least twice a years or else his aggression would be different as age advances

My 1 year old german shepherd is suffering from babesiosis although I never spotted any ticks on him. He is on antibiotics and crocin TDS How can I check his temperature?

MVSc (Ph.D)
Veterinarian,
Do not become yourself doctor or assume without base, to be a babesiosis case, there are certain symptoms like high fever, severe conjunctivitis, urine dark colored like coffee, & you should take the blood for diagnosis of this disease, to lab. The ticks in the night bite & go & can not be found on the body, what your doctor said is correct, he may be having some other problem also, and you are treating for that. His temperature can be taken by keeping the thermometer in the anus,

MVSc, BVSc
Veterinarian,
Preventive Health care: As pets age faster than humans, a year is a long time in a dog's life. We all know that preventing disease or catching it in its early stages is far better than treating it once it has had time to progress to a more severe stage. Preventive health care on a regular basis will help you do just that, and save you and your pet from needless suffering and a larger financial burden.
It is recommended that every pet should receive a general health evaluation once in 6 months. A preventive health visit should cover following aspects:
• Vaccination status
• Parasite control for intestinal parasites, ear mites, ticks and fleas.
• Dental health – care you give at home; any mouth odours, pain, or other signs of disease you may have observed
• Nutrition – including what your dog eats, how often, what supplements and treats are given, and changes in water consumption, weight, or appetite
• Exercise - how much exercise your dog receives including how often and what kind; and any changes in your dog's ability to exercise
• Ears and Eyes – any discharge, redness, or itching
• Stomach and intestines – any vomiting, diarrhoea, constipation, gas, belching, or abnormal stools
• Breathing – any coughing, shortness of breath, sneezing, or nasal discharge
• Behaviour – any behaviour problems such as barking, changes in temperament, any obsessive behaviour, urinary accidents
• Feet and legs – any limping, weakness, toenail problems
• Coat and skin – any hair loss, pigment changes, lumps, itchy spots, shedding, mats, or anal sac problems
• Urogenital – any discharges, heats, changes in mammary glands, urination difficulties or changes, Neutering - if it has not already been performed
• Blood tests – especially for geriatric dogs, those with medical problems, and those who are receiving medications

Normally if your pet dog is vaccinated, then no need to for vaccination. You have to make sure your pet dog is vaccinated in last one year.

Sir my dog is suffering from itching I had given him avil 50 mg medicine, tactic lotion 25 ml, fluka, furglow But still there is a problem of itching and redness of skin m so worried please suggest some medicine that make him free of all these .he got pus (sinuses) on his back do us help his bladder and leg area get reddish. suggest some effective medicine that give him relief.

You will need to visit a veterinarian for complete diagnostics to find the cause of infection and itching since Avil alone doesn't seem to be helping. There are many causes of such conditions in dogs including allergies, various ectoparasites, atopy, etc.

Respected Sir/Madam (veterinary) I am very depressed for my pet's health. I have a dog (labrador 2 month old), he becomes very un-healthy and thin day by day. I give him drools puppy starter and home based foods like Rice, chapati and milk too but no result found yet. Please guide me.

MVSc (Ph.D pursuing)
Veterinarian, Hyderabad
Personally I'm too not satisfied with only dog food or only home Cooked food diet for dogs. They need 50℅ protein solely from animal source. I suggest you start giving 2 boiled eggs and Royal canine maxi junior in place of drools. Get the deworming done immediately. If already done within 2 weeks then wait till it gets over. Give some calcium supplement in case you r not giving royal canine food twice a day. But see that you don't change the food immediately. It will suppress the immunity of your puppy. Do it gradually over a period of 7-10 days.

Your cow is suffering from acidosis due to eating excess food grains. Give plenty of water and feed only greens if it takes for 2-3 days. Give RUMENTAS 2 boli 2 times daily for 3 days and also give BLONIL Liquid orally 50 ml 2 times daily for 2 days.
