I am 43 yrs. Old, have lower back pain since last four yrs. But it is continuous since last 4-5 months & also felling stiff neck (sometimes pain in back of skull) & upper back (both side of back bone) sometimes. Usually takes paracetamol-ibuprofen (500 mg a day) to relieve pain. In last 2 -3 months, have taken around 30-40 tabs. Also I don't have very good lever, usually need to take ranitidine. Pls help.

Back pain is a very comon problem in our daily routine life. Its an occuptional problem. Back pain problm dovelops in series but it occur suddnly due to our lyf styl. You said dt you hv problm since lst 4yr bt it continues frm 5 mnths. As I told dt. The structure of our spine is very complicated. There is no support in our lower back area. Dre iz olwys a curve either sitting, standing, or even lying. So dre izz no support. So muscules of dis area iz very weak due to its musculature or dre izz no support. Or our lyf style. The lower spine resist almost 50% weight of our body. When we doing any kind of movmnt where lower spine bend. It means the gravitational force work wid 50% body weight. So dre izz olredy muscles r weak nd they are furthr weak due to forewrad movmnt of lower spine. So the main thingh iss dt. Avoid oll d forewrd movmnt of spine as much you can. Avoid low floor sitting. Avoid stairs climbing. Nd avoid any prolong posture. Sitting, standing. Walking. Sit olwys wid lower back supoort -coushion or back rest at home or at your wrk palace. Moist heet fomantation apply atlest 20 min 2 times a day. When pain izz subsides about 60% than you can start muscles strengthning exercises or stretching can b don. Last not d lest --increase your water intake atlest 4 ltr a day. Thnxx.

Please do stretching exercises before running, use good quality footwear with arch support, start physiotherapy and consult orthopaedic surgeon if symptoms persist.

Kindly show me a photograph of the affected part. Rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick matress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Do hot fomantation. Paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do neck, back & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. You will need other supportive medicines also. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. If it does not give relief in 4-5days, contact me again. Do not ignore. It could be beginning of a serious problem.

I am 102 kg Male aged 43 years. My weight at the age of 19 was 60 kg. I do take moderate drinks but do regular walk. My diets are typical nrth pattern. I am unable to reduce my weight. Hello, first of all you should know what is backache and by which factors it caused and aggravated. The usual cause of low back pain is the sedentary lifestyle that we lead these days. There is hardly any movement. walking, running and cycling like activities are also not a part of our daily routine. To add to it, our diet consists more and more of junk food. Fresh fruits, vegetables and high fibre foods are consumed less and less. These daily practices lead to obesity. The increased body weight puts lot of pressure on the spine which has to bear all the extra unwanted weight. The back muscles which are already weak due to lack of exercise and wrong posture are unable to cope with this increased load. This causes pain in the back muscles. Management for Back Pain:-Along with medicines for relieving pain, one needs to identify the cause and correct it. This may require some medicines or some correction in your posture or reducing weight or improving your lifestyle. At the same time, there is a need to work on the local muscle strengthening. Back muscles need to be strengthened so that they can bear the weight of the upper body. For this exercises of the back muscles are very helpful. Regular walking is also very helpful as it is a wholesome exercise of the body, improves blood circulation and helps lose weight. Most importantly if you are overweight then losing weight is an important part of the whole treatment plan .Long term use of painkillers for low back pain is harmful Treatment for back pain:- Homoeopathic medicines are very helpful. First of all check your posture when you are lifting any material like heavy bucket. And try to lift the heavy bucket without bending your back. You may lift the bucket after bending your knees only. This will definitely help you. * gentle massage with lukewarm mustard oil of your waist area will also give you relief. * surya namaskar is only exercise which you need to do. * in diet vegetable protein of cereal, b complex supplements and half teaspoon of haldi in a cup of milk for seven days will give you enough relief.

Hi... Sorry to hear about the problem. ... If your blood pressure is 160/120 on the medication, then you should talk to your doctor about possibly increasing the medicine as the BP is not well controlled. There are many reasons for the pain. You might have developed Shin splint. The most common site for shin splints is the medial area (the inside of the shin). Anterior shin splints (toward the outside of the leg) usually result from an imbalance between the calf muscles and the muscles in the front of your leg, and often afflict beginners who either have not yet adjusted to the stresses of running or are not stretching enough.  when shin splints strike you should stop running completely or decrease your training depending on the extent and duration of pain. Then, as a first step, ice your shin to reduce inflammation. Here are some other treatments you can try: Gently stretch your Achilles if you have medial shin splints, and your calves if you have anterior shin splints. Also, try this stretch for your shins: Kneel on a carpeted floor, legs and feet together and toes pointed directly back. Then slowly sit back onto your calves and heels, pushing your ankles into the floor until you feel tension in the muscles of your shin. Hold for 10 to 12 seconds, relax and repeat. Make sure you wear the correct running shoes for your foot type specifically, over pronators should wear motion-control shoes. Severe over pronators may need orthotics. Have two pairs of shoes and alternate wearing them to vary the stresses on your legs. Please visit a physiotherapist to identify and treat issues in your legs or running mechanics that may be causing pain. A therapist can also help ease the pain and guide your return to sport. Hi, You might have picked some intestinal infection after eating outside food. Be on bland diet, drink plenty of water and take tab. Kutaja 1 tab 3 times a day and tab. Yogaraja guggulu 1 tab 3 times a day. If the symptoms do not subside, then get your routine stool examination done and revert back with the reports.

Apply hot fomentation twice daily. Avoid bending in front. Postural correction- sit tall, walk tall. Extension exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times. Bhujang asana? lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily. Core strengthening exercises- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day.

It can be a muscular pull if you are having to walk/stand too long at a stretch then this could come up. Do massage with warm mustard oil daily to relieve pain. Also take mag phos 6x - twice daily for next 7 days and get back to me for proper treatment.
