Massage with your thumbs from the mid points of the shoulder blades on both sides towards the lower back of your head up to lower level of the ears. Use oil or water for massage. Rotate your head clockwise and anticlockwise, forward and down, left and right a few times. Do for 5 to 10 times morning and evening. Give pressure the dipping point on the portion between the thumb and the index finger on the back of the palm. Press and release for 15 times where the pain is more. This will solve the problem. Further do some wrist rotation exercise. Consult after 5 days. For further guidance and treatment.

Hello It is important to know the cause of back pain whether only muscle pain joint or nerve root pain due to slipped disc.. Ideally an Mri of the Spine should be done..Till then she should take bed rest Avoid bending and lifting weights.. Can apply hot fomentation like hot bottles.. You can consult for medications

Ice packs can be applied. Arnica gel can be applied. But it is better to consult an orthopaedic surgeon.

Do take ust and ift for pain relief for 10 days followed by strengthening exercise from physiotherapist apply hot water fomentation thrice a day for 10 days regularly do revert for further assistance best wishes.

Lie on the back, supporting the thigh with the hand or with a towel wrapped around it. Slowly straighten the knee until a stretch is felt in the back of the thigh, trying to get the bottom of the foot to face the ceiling, one leg at a time. Hold the position initially for 10 seconds, and gradually work up to 20 to 30 seconds.

For pain take tablet paracetamol 650 mg and start with Tablet folvite 5mg once a day for six months and tablet vitamin D3 60000iu once a week for six months

I have an osteochondral lesion. From my estimate, I have recovered 90%. However, I still feel mild strain. I got injured in September last year.

Most of us have a neck pain in their lives.It is a common problem many of us felt it.

Neck pain, although felt in the neck, can be caused by numerous other spinal problems.
Neck pain may arise due to muscular tightness in both the he neck and upper back, or pinching of the nerves emanating from the cervical vertebrae.
Joint disruption in the neck creates pain, as does joint disruption in the upper back.

Understanding what condition you have and what you can do to help reduce your symptoms is half the battle.
We will provide you with advice and education on exercises for neck pain aimed at reducing the likelihood of it recurring while giving you tips on how best to reduce pain on a day to day basis.
This usually means working with a few home exercises to help compliment your sessions with the physiotherapist. By the time your sessions have come to an end you should feel, if not pain free already, that you are able to manage your condition while working towards a sustainable pain.

Symptoms

Neck Pain can often be associated with neck stiffness, pins and needles in the arm, shoulder stiffness and related pain in the shoulder blade, head, arm, wrist and hand. It can be caused by a sprained ligament, pressure on a disc or a muscle strain or spasm. It can often be a result of poor postural habits at work, whiplash post road traffic accident, strains while playing sports or stress related incidents in one?s life.

She should focus on weight control which is pretty much ok and do exercises regularly do build up quadriceps muscles. I personally feel more active life style will help her feel better and lessen her pains. Personally do not feel that medicines really work except pain killers which should be judiciously used. This Is we assume its only ageing osteoarthritis and there is no post injury acute onset that resulted in internal damage to the structures.(meniscus/Ligament ). Get her vitamins checked and encourage exercises.

do hot fomentations and put a towel roll under knee and press for 10 second then release repeat 10 to 15 time twice a day. quadriceps exercise. calf stretching exercise and ankle rotation. avoid long standing

Hello, You will have to elaborate your problem as to a detailed discussion of your back pain which means duration of pain and mode of onset.I would also like to ask you if it is associated with any leg pain or any other neurological symptoms like numbness, paraesthesias ( electrical shock like abnormal sensations) or any weakness in limbs. There is very good results of ayurveda on asthama & cough start following * take ginger & turmeric mix with honey before food * take ajvayan & jeera 1 tsp each after each meal * take hot water only * eat less then of your hunger. Take fast. It will help you for less cough production * avoid day sleep, stress, night awaking * you can massage on chest with till oil mix with rock salt & kapoor & take steam I need more details perfect medication. Back ache can be due to several reasons. It can be muscular, related to disc degeneration or prolapse, joint irritation or nerve pinching. Most common is muscle pain due to tight and weak back and abdominal muscles. Keep a positive attitude, focus more on keeping good posture especially when sitting for long hours, use lumbar support. Take frequent breaks and stretch in between. Try changing sleeping habits. Try hot or cold therapy as tolerated. Wish you speedy recovery.

Dear its due to postural problem .. try the tips they will help u:: Dear, follow the tips they will help you ::: 1.Warm mustard oil or sesame oil (1 teaspoon) with 3-4 cloves of crushed garlic and 1 tsp of ajwain (carom) seeds until it roasts to a reddish brown colour. Ensure that it does not get burned. Massage this oil on your affected areas. After that do hot fomentation with salt potli (bag). 2.Take 8 to 10 glasses of water daily. 3.Increase the consumption of vitamin C in diet. 4.Take fresh Ginger into pieces, place in the cup of water and boil it for 30 minutes in low flame. Cool for 30 minutes after boiling. Consume this solution with Honey. 5.While sleeping, lie straight on your back or with bent knees supported by a pillow. 6.Taking hot and cold compresses on an alternate basis can be quite helpful in relieving pain. 7. Sit and stand in straight posture. While driving take a break after 1 hr for 10 min and walk for a mile and do stretching and deep breathing. 8. Do yoga and pranayam daily specially shalabhasana, bhujangasana, natrajasana, mandukasana and suryanamaskar daily 10 min each pose. Revert back for further management.

Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. SPRING BEDS, FOLDING BEDS OR THICK MATRESS ARE HARMFUL Use no pillow under the head. DO HOT FOMANTATION. Paracetamol 250mg OD & SOS x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab OD x10. Do neck, back & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. You will need other supportive medicines also. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. If it does not give relief in 4-5days, contact me again.. Do not ignore .It could be beginning of a serious problem.

I am male 42 years old. Slight pain at the back just above the hips. This pain persists all the time creating slight uncomfortable status. Also feel slight uncomfortable sensations in the knees. All blood parameters are satisfactory and within range. Please advice.

Piriformis stretch 1. Lie on your back. 2. Cross your left leg over your right so that your left ankle rests on your right knee. 3. Use your hands to grab hold of your left knee and pull it gently toward the opposite shoulder. 4. Hold for 15 to 30 seconds. 5. Relax, and then repeat with the other leg. 6. Repeat this cycle 2 to 4 times.
