I met with a motorcycle accident 1 1/2 years back in which I hurt my right knee. Now for the last two months I have a slight swelling on the knee and I have shifting pain which at times is around the knee or in the muscle on the lower back side of leg.

Hi, I drink alcohol occasionally, once a month. Whenever I drink the next morning I get pain in my legs, usually below knees. And it remains almost for the whole day. Is this normal? What should I do for this.

Stop drinking. It does no good. This treatment is being suggested on bases of the information provided. I would like to examine & investigate you in detail. Rule out Hypertension, Diabetes or other metabolic disorder. Any way it may be tried, --. Dolokind Plus (Mankind) [Aceclofenac 100 mg +Paracetamol 350 mg] 1 tab. OD & SOS. X 5 days. --. Caldikind plus (Mankind) 1 tab OD x 10 days. (You may need help of your local doctor to get these medicines.) --. Fomentation with warm water. Avoid direct flow of AC or Cooler. --. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding. --. Use no pillow under the head. --. Avoid painful acts & activities. -- .Do mild exercises for Knee & Legs. Foot & ankle. Do not ignore, let it not become beginning of a major problem. Do ask for a detailed treatment plan. Wear knee cap so that you will feel firm while walking or climbing stairs. You have to do knee strengthening exercises, ie. Knee rehabilitation exercises which will strengthen your knee.

First of all check your posture when you are lifting any material like heavy bucket . And try to lift the heavy bucket without bending your back . you may lift the bucket after bending your knees only. This will definitely help you. * Gentle massage with lukewarm mustard oil of your waist area will also give you relief. * Surya Namaskar is only exercise which you need to do. * In diet vegetable protein of cereal , B complex supplements and half teaspoon of haldi in a cup of milk for seven days will give you enough relief.

Kindly show me a photograph & digital X RAYS of affected part. Rule out diabetes & vit.D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. SPRING BEDS, FOLDING BEDS OR THICK MATRESS ARE HARMFUL Use no pillow under the head. DO HOT FOMANTATION. Paracetamol 250mg OD & SOS x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab OD x10. Do neck, back & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. You will need other supportive medicines also. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. Do reply back for detailed treatment plan. Do not ignore .It could be beginning of a serious problem.

I am 27 years old and when I stand for a long time, my left heel of leg pains more than right leg. Whats the reason?

Your heel posture is not in right direction on weight bearing. Due to weak calf muscle, flat foot. Don't worry do these steps:- 1. For pain relief use hot water bottle take your foot on bottle and gentle push and move forward backward massage for 5min. 2. Stand on toes of both legs for 10 counts then relaxe do it for 15 times. 3. Ankle stretching by towel 5 times. 4. If arch of your foot soul is reduce then use arch orthotics.

I get pain in my calf muscles and triceps particularly if I keep fan on? I need to wear the thermal throughout the year, what is the problem?

Standing calf stretch stand away from a wall and. Put your fight foot behind you and be sure your toes are facing forward. Lean forward at the ankle while bending the right knee and keeping your heel on the ground. Hold this for 30 to 60 seconds. Repeat 10 times a twice a day.

It may be low back pain with sciatica. In sciatica pain radiates along the leg. Reasons can be-* *sitting in inconvenient posture constantly, without changing your position or without movement, *wearing ill fitting sandals, *lack of exercise or *internal disorder like arthritis. Point to observe- * if you have difficulty in climbing stairs, take lift while going upstairs. If there is no lift, go up slowly. * if it is due to strain of games or injury, take rest. * if it is due to obesity, reduce weight. * if it is due to constant sitting at a particular posture, change posture and engage in slow walk. * walking regularly at slow pace without unduly straining helps as it improves blood circulation around knee and eases the joint. *you can use mustard oil for massage which is good in winter season for relieving pain. Eucalyptus oil is also good homoeopathy has a good treatment for this without adverse effects. Take colocynthis 200---once daily morning and give feedback after 7 days

I am a medical sales professional. Everyday I have to ride bike atlist 50 km. I have been riding motorcycles from last 7 years. Now I have found pain in right side of my middle back. I have also notice that if I take rest for long time it also increase. Little worm heat on this effected part give me some relief. What to do now?

The best conservative management is to keep ice in a tub (extremely cold) and automatically it will heal. Also wear MCR chappals to reduce the pain and to prevent the weight falling on the ruptured tendon. Can wear creepe bandage in the injured achilles tendon area around the ankle so that it acts like a shock absorber

I am 21 years old female. Everyday in night when I am going for get sleep, my right hand and right leg are start paining. It was started about 6/7 month ago. What should I do ?

Advice hot fomentation. Gentle stretching of hand muscles. Ball exercises. Wrist exerciser: keep your leg raised while sitting or lying quadriceps strengthening exercises- quad clenches: lie flat on your back or sit upright on a chair with leg kept horizontally on another surface. Now, tighten the muscle on the front of the thigh by pushing your knee down. You should feel your thigh muscles clench, hold for 3 secs. Repeat 10 times twice a day. Short arcs: lie flat on your back or sit upright with your leg placed horizontally on a flat surface like a chair or bed. Place a rolled up towel under the knee. Pull your toes towards you and clench you thigh muscles. Slowly lift your foot up off the bed until your knee is straight (keep your knee resting on the towel). Hold for 3 secs and slowly lower them on the chair. Repeat 10 times twice a day. Straight leg raise: lie flat on your back. One leg and knee will be straight and other leg should be bent. Pull your toes towards you and tighten/clench the muscle on the front of the thigh, locking your knee straight. Lift your foot up in the air, about 6 inches off the bed. Hold for 3 secs and slowly lower the leg. The knee must remain straight the whole time you are doing this exercise. Hamstring stretching.
