it may be due to hormonal imbalance,quickly eating a meal on the run:-when you eat quickly, the hormone your stomach sends to let your body know that you’re full doesn’t have time to trigger, preventing you from ever feeling full. Sleep Deprivation:- when your body hasn’t had adequate rest, it becomes more difficult to produce the hormone leptin, which is responsible for allowing your body to feel full. Sleep deprivation also leads to an increase in the production of the hunger inducing hormone ghrelin. due to peer pressure,due to skipping breakfast,due to chew gum,dehydration,taking soda,eating processed foods and due to stress too.so,first take proper diet,don't skip meal,avoid stress,

For pain you can take hifenac- p and see. For diabetes you need diabetic control. Which I can give you. Ask me with reports of fbs, 2hr ppbs and hba1c. Describe the location of pain you may have cervical spondylosis which can be confirmed by x ray, ct.

Diet Tips to Prevent, Control and Reverse Diabetes

Diabetes is one of the worst diseases which has gripped majority of people today, thanks to our erratic work schedule followed by a lack of exercise and sleep, aggravated by the overindulgence in junk food. But, the good news is that you can control and even reverse diabetes by following some simple dietary tips.

The fact is dieting doesn’t mean starving; you can have tasty nutritious food which is mentally and physically rejuvenating.

Here are a few dietary tips you should follow to keep your blood sugar levels in check-

  1. Include adequate vegetables in your diet; especially which have high fibre content. Leafy vegetables such as spinach and vegetables such as peas, broccoli and beans are a must.
  2. Include high fibre foods such as chickpea wheat, oats and millets in your diet.
  3. Milk has the perfect combination of protein and carbohydrate and can control blood sugar levels.
  4. Make sure you eat pulses, especially those with husk and sprouts, as they keep your blood glucose levels normal. Even when you are having noodles, you must add sprouts to them apart from the vegetables.
  5. Foods which are rich in omega-3 fatty acids are excellent for combating diabetes. These include flax seed oil, nuts, fatty fish; these have a very small level of cholesterol.
  6. Consume high fibre fruits such as papaya, pear, orange, guava etc. Eat those fruits which have high sugar content such as mangoes or grapes, in moderation.

These are some of the foods which you should include in your diet. In addition, there are few everyday tips which you should follow-

  1. Make sure to have small frequent meals comprising of high fibre and low in carbohydrate foods.
  2. Methi or fenugreek seeds have high diabetes controlling mechanisms. Soak one tablespoon of the seeds in 100 ml of water overnight and have it in the morning.
  3. Exercise helps in managing blood sugar levels.
  4. Losing weight improves the functioning of the insulin.

Tip for sticking with a diabetes-friendly diet plan-

First and foremost, take small, manageable steps. Choose two or three things you want to work on. Once you feel you have mastered those you can move on to two or three more steps towards a healthier diet. If you wish to discuss about any specific problem, you can consult a dietitian-nutritionist.

Diet modification that is eating something every three hours or so- 3 major and 3 minor meals. Avoid juices, fried, sweets, bakery products, junk food. Start exercise at least 30 min per day for 5 days a week.

Sir my age is 21 years .2 months back I got a fever on that time I checked my blood sugar levels which are randomly 300 mg After 2 months I am checked my FASTING IS 85 MG AND POST MEALS IS 105 MG HB1AC IS 5.0 Is I am diabetic or not I am not taking any medicines also. Please tell me can I use medicine or stop now. Regularly checking levels which are not crossed 90 mg in fasting and post meals is 110 mg please tell me can I live as a normal person or avoid all foods.

Mr. lybrate-user, Thanks for the query. The blood glucose levels mentioned fasting 90 mg & PP 110 mg are normal. I am giving the levels which are used to diagnose whether a person is diabetic or otherwise: 1) Normal: Fasting 70 to 100 mg, PP <140 mg HbA1c% <5.9 2) Pre-diabetis: Fasting:101 to 125 mg, PP 141 to 199 mg, HbA1c% 5.9 to 6.4. 3) Diabetes: Fasting 126 mg and above, PP 200 mg and above & HbA1c % 6.6 and above. Considering these facts you seem to be having no problem. There is no diabetes. Hence no reason to worry. Thanks.
