Early Morning You can have any of the following items to start your day. • 1 glass of lukewarm water with lemon juice added to it. This drink will have zero calories in it. Breakfast 2 Idlis and half a cup of sambar and ½ cup of low fat milk Mid Morning Snack You can use boiled pulses, green salads, low- calorie fruits or nuts as a snack Lunch Cup brown rice (not to exceed 200 grams cooked rice) and ½ cup mixed vegetable gravy along with one bowl mixed vegetable salad and 1 small bowl raitha or low fat curd. Ensure that the vegetables are cooked using low fat oil and without adding coconut. Evening Green tea Dinner Start your dinner with any thin soup. You can eat 2 rotis or one quarter plate upma or 3 slices of brown bread or one bowl of oats at night along with ½ cup vegetable and 1 bowl of salad.

Meal # 1 (Breakfast) 4 hard-boiled egg whites. 1 Egg white omelet in olive oil. 2 slices of brown bread. 1 serving (30 gms) of plain oatmeal with skim milk (I prefer add 10 Almonds and 20 grams Walnuts and few raisins for taste). Meal # 2 (Snack) 1 serving of broccoli. 3 hard-boiled eggs whites. Meal # 3 (Lunch) Half tandoori chicken. 1 roti. 1 cup of mixed vegetables (Specially cucumber). 1 apple. Meal # 4 (Post workout meal) 1 Banana with whey protein shake. Meal #5 (Dinner) 2 large cups of vegetables and fruits (Including cucumber, watermelon and papaya). ½ cup spinach. 5-6 berries such as strawberries. Masturbation is harmless.

Your Daily food intake should ideally consist of – a. Have plenty of nuts, dry fuits and seeds. Almonds, walnuts, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, figs, dates and raisins. They are full of healthy fats needed by a human body. B. Good amount of fruits and vegetables – Bananas, apples, pomegranate, green leafy vegetables. Fruits and vegetables helps in absorption of food in the body and together, completes your daily nutrition need. C. If you are a non- vegetarian - Eat eggs, chicken etc. D. Eat whole grains – Try to have multi grains spread throughout the day. Wheat, brown rice, oats, bajra, daliya etc should be taken in multiple meals in a day. E. Eat Sprouts – Chana and moong which are full of protein and nutrients. F. You can supplement your diet with good quality multi-vitamin capsules. If you are lacking in protein, you can buy a high quality whey protein and have it with banana shake twice a day. G. You can take natural food items like wheat grass which is full of essential nutrients which helps in weight gain. Best of luck.

Do regular exercise, take high protein diet, take fruits daily, take butter with sugar, take peanut butter with bread, take butter with boiled potatoes, take 4-5 bananna with milk, take dates, raisins, cashew daily, this will help.

Sir I'm age of 46. I want to know that whether riding cycle is more beneficial for health or walking is beneficial. Secondly I want to reduce my waist and abs. I use to ride cycle for 1 HR continuously round about 20 km. Is it enough or not. How many kcal are burnt by riding cycle for 1 hr. Kindly reply and also advice what diet should I intake to maintain my physique. I'm having an athlete body. Pls advice along with diet chart. Thank for caring.

Hi lybrate-user. Cycling or walking both are best as far as health benefits are concern. 1 hour cycling is enough. For diet I will suggest you to take more protein rich diet with less carbohydrates. And least fat. You can search food related to that on internet. According to your choice. Also take a multivitamin tablet. And some other antioxidants like grape seed extracts.

I workout regularly and have a pretty much balanced diet. But the problem is I'm not able to achieve the physique I want because I'm not able to stay asleep for more than 5-6 hours P. S. THERE ARE no interruptions And the bedroom is dark as well.

Sleep can be completed by few hours in day time. 5 to 6 hours sleep is although good enough. A balanced diet should contain babundant amount of green leafy vegetables, salads, fruits. Adequate water should be taken between meals and not with the meal. Coconut water is excellent wor rehydration in summers. Have your going to bed time fixed by watch.

Hi,Thank you for your query. We will be happy to help you. Avoid all outside food that includes junk, processed food as well as food items that are oily, sugary, or salty. Instead eat home cooked meals with 4 to 5 servings of fruits and veggies. Have your dinner early and keep it light. Eat a protein rich breakfast every morning. 1.you should not take more than one egg 2. Brush two times daily 3. Drink 2 liters of water or 6-8 glasses daily

Hello lybrate-user. Sorry about your eye trouble. Don't take your eyes for granted! protect your sight with these six tips: 1. Eat for good vision 2. Quit smoking 3. Wear sunglasses / helmets to shield your eyes from dust, sunlight, pollution 4. Wash your eyes 3-4 times a day 5. Look away from the computer screen at regular intervals 6. Avoid rubbing your eyes with fingers/ cloth/ shirt/ dupatta, etc. All these suggestions may take a while to sink in and imbibe in your routine.
