He probably has a mild urine infection. Get a urine routine and urine culture test done. See that he drinks plenty of liquids.

Yes triple vaccine/pentax are given on lateral side of. Thigh. Any any injection is given in muscle mass. Do not worry their should not be any nodule, or pain are few days of injection.

How to effectively handle work related stress

The statistics on stress at workplace are staggering with half of respondents in studies reporting that they face higher than normal stress levels at work. Stress is a silent killer and can lead to serious health issues like stroke and heart attack. Stress at the workplace could be due to excessive workloads, unclear responsibilities, lack of control, unrealistic deadlines and noisy work environment.

While it is a good thing to be competitive and excel in whatever you are doing, it is also very important to learn to tackle stress and take life easy. Remember, we live only once! here are some simple and effective ways to handle workplace stress:

1. Seek support at work

Research has shown that having one good friend at work reduces the chances of quitting. Sharing your thoughts with another person not only reduces the stress levels but also might lead to discovering new ways to handle tough situations. Take proactive steps to be more friendly and sociable at work.

2. Manage work better

Try prioritizing better and not expecting perfection in every task. In case your role is over-loaded, try talking to your manager to reduce the load or if possible, delegate some work. Accept that you have certain limits to your productivity and do not try to prove yourself by over-working.

3. Get moving

It is a proven fact that exercises in any form reduces stress levels. Try to exercise for half an hour daily in the form walking, swimming, playing a sport or running. You can take short walking breaks at work that can add up to half an hour in a day.

4. Try breathing exercises

Breathing deeply for four counts on inhale and exhale can reduce stress levels immediately. You can try alternating breathing exercise i. E. Long inhale with one nostril and exhaling with the other nostril, which brings focus and energy in the morning before starting work.

5. Take a power nap

10 minutes of shut eye goes a long way in recharging your tired brain. Any longer than 15 minutes will end up making you groggy. Just put your head down on the desk, and clear your mind of all thoughts for 10 minutes.

6. Eat right

Food has a big role to play in determining our stress levels. Avoid processed food, sugar and high amount of refined carbs like flour, white rice etc. Maintaining your blood glucose levels by eating more complex carbohydrates that are slowly digested like ragi, jowar, bajra gives you steady energy levels throughout the day.

7. Get enough sleep

Over-worked employees often cut back on sleep and try to squeeze in work at night. Over the long term, this practice can severely impact your health and leads to more stress. Avoid looking at laptop, tv or phone screens when you are trying to fall asleep.

You have to take charge of your own work-life balance and draw the line where you feel uncomfortable since no one will do it for you. Over-working might give benefits in the short term in terms of recognition and promotion, but it causes emotional, mental and physical burnout in the long term. Stay healthy, stay happy.

It is the most common problem seen in society today. A migraine is a common neurological condition characterised by a headache, but some people have associated symptoms of eye and ear.
Classic symptoms of a migraine:

  1. Severe throbbing headache on one side of head
  2. Nausea and vomiting
  3. Sensitivity to light and noise.
  4. Prefer quite a dark room to sleep

Vestibular symptoms:

  1. Vertigo
  2. Dizziness
  3. Imbalance
  4. Unsteadiness
  5. Sensitivity to motion

Hearing symptoms:

  1. Muffled hearing
  2. Ear fullness
  3. Ringing in the ear or tinnitus

Causes of a migraine:
Migraine headaches probably relate to both abnormal discharges in cells within the brain and to the construction of the walls of the blood vessels in and around the brain. But the exact cause of a migraine is not known. Following are the provocating factors which make the condition worse

  1. Hypoglycaemia (low blood sugar)
  2. Stress altered sleep patterns
  3. Diet fast food, oily food, processed food
  4. Chocolates, cheeses
  5. Coffee sodas with caffeine
  6. Alcohol

Factors related to a migraine

  1. More common in women than men
  2. Symptoms are often worse during menstruation
  3. Family history

Management

  1. Avoid food, which triggers migraines e.g. Chocolate, alcohol, cheese, oily, spicy, junk and processed food
  2. Relaxation exercise
  3. Stress management
  4. During menstrual period decrease the salt intake and take some diuretic
  5. Ibruphen for pain after meal
  6. Other treatment with the advice of neuro physician e.g.
    1. Beta blockers agents
    2. Calcium channel blockers
    3. Tricyclic antidepressants
    4. Seratonergic agents
    5. Gabapantin or neurontin
    6. Clongepam
    7. Acetazolamides or diamox
    8. Sodium valporate or depakots
    9. Topiramax
    10. Oxycarbazapine or trieptal

My baby is 3 month old still wakes up after 2 hours and after 4 am he wakes after half hour once I put bottle in mouth he sleeps immediately not feeding much. He his formula feed. I am very exhausted what to do. Previously he was drinking 3oz and sleeping for 3 hours now everything is disturbed.

It is advisable to provide mother's milk for the first one year. You too should focus on your overall health. You should take atleast 300 calories more than an normal adult. Hello doctor, I have delivered a baby 6 months back. But it's "cesarian delivery" Now am become 65 kg. My hight is 150 cm. So now am become over weight. I want to make myself fit again. At least I want to reduce 12 kg. Am scare of handle weight lifts. I have dumblles (5 kg). Can I use this for exercise? Is it right way? I don't want to go gym. Walking after a C section can speed recovery. ... Eat Healthy. Eat a healthy breakfast. ... Limit Unhealthy Foods. Breast-feeding moms lose more weight three months post-partum than moms who don’t breast-feed. If you continue to breast-feed after your baby is 4 to 6 months, you will continue to lose weight. Speak to your doctor first, but after six to eight weeks you can gradually increase your activity level and start an exercise routine. Start slowly and engage in aerobic and toning exercises. Eat five to six small meals a day and never skip a meal. Drink eight to nine glasses of fluid a day – preferably water. Every new mom should be able to indulge in dessert now and then, but do so sparingly. Cakes, cookies, ice cream and candy contain a lot of saturated fat, sugar and calories, which will make the numbers on the scale creep up rather than down. Their sugar and calorie content can add up, preventing you from losing weight.
