Yes atleast 1 dose is advisable. If your give all 4 doses including at 6 week, 10 week ,14 week and 1.5 year age booster then it is ideal scenario.

Your concern is jenune, your baby might have hypersensitive airway, just go through a detailed physical examination, respiratory function test. It might be due to environmental exposure of so many allergent, toxic fumes. Yiu just checked your child with pediatric pulmonologist and stick to the treatment. Bcz childhood Asthama is a chronic disease, only prevented no cure. It resolves spontaneously if you prevent its recurrent attack with lifestyle chane, environmental& behavioural modification with some medication.

Hi, Our first baby is one year 11 months and now my wife got conceived even after using copper tee Please suggest us whether it s safe and the age Gap is fine.

Hi, Our first baby is one year 11 months and now my wife got conceived even after using copper tee Please suggest us ...
You should first get an ultrasound done to see wether copper t is in its normal place ,and to confirm the duration and location of pregnancy. If you want to continue the pregnancy, you can but copper t should be removed. There is a slight increase risk of abortion and preterm delivery in patients who conceive with copper t in situ. If you do not wish to continue the pregnancy then you can go for termination of pregnancy with copper t removal.

Hi, I've been advice Lac Caninum 30 for drying up breast milk for my wife. Is it safe? What should be its dosage?

General Physician, Alappuzha
If your baby is 2 years old only you should use these and I advise to let the milk dry up itself without using artificial methods for the best of her and the child There is a tremendous amount of evidence that breastfeeding improves immune function in infants. As per the 2011 report, compared with breast fed infants, babies who drink formula are more prone to ear infections and diarrhea in the first six months and face a higher lifetime risk of asthma, obesity, type 2 diabetes and other health problems.

Pediatrician,
If child is exclusively breast fed, it is ok and nothing needs to be done. See that she is putting on weight regularly.

My son is 6 years old and his height and weight are perfect. But he is thin and that's my only concern. Please tell what should I do to make him look little fat ?

M.D.( Pediatrics), DCH
Pediatrician,
If hight and weight are perfect, what more do you want? it is dangerous to be fat. If you want him to be muscular ask him to exercise.

Don't worry. Approx a child is thrice his birth wt at the age of one year. Hence his wt should be around 9 kg. He is now around 8 kg. A little difference is acceptable. He is not grossly underweight. Don't worry.

My child is 4 years old. He is frequently suffering from nasal congestion, cough & cold, irregular sleeping at night, difficulty breathing while asleep & snoring. In the recent past, I visited an ENT SPECIALIST who confirmed Tonsillitis and swelling of adenoids. He suggested adenotonsillectomy. Kindly suggest non-surgical remedy for the above-mentioned condition of my child.
