Hello, your problem is due to postural irregularity. * sit erect on the table keeping your head, straight in front of your computer * take- off computer for 5 mnts, frequently & stretch your body, pulling your shoulder back. * go for meditation keeping your entire body straight. * go for pawan- utthan asana, lie down on the floor on your abdomen and lift your body with support of your both d arms, keeping legs down on floor. * go for aerobic exercise under supervision of a physiotherapist. **homoeo-care** @ rhus tox 200-6 pills, thrice a day. @ arnica mont 200- 6 pills, thrice a day. Hello sir. I am 42, and 102 kgs at 5.8.ft. I am suffering from excessive knee pain and pain below the heels. My blood sugar and uric acid are normal. But I am fat and my body forms gas in low food quantities. It has been years that I take esoz40 in the morning to avoid acidity. Due ti this gas I have continuous body pain which forbids me from physical exercise. Please advice.

Hi apply pranacharya restopain oil or prasarini oil on your affected part then give hot fomentation. Take maha rasnadi kwath 2-2 tsf twice a day. And agni tundi vati and maha yograj guggul 1-1 tab twice a day.

Hi After sex my pelvic region and my back have started paining a lot. It pains for about 30 to 45 mins. The pain subsides only after I fart 4 to 5 times or else after taking a pain killer.

Apply Hot Fomentation twice daily. Avoid bending in front. Postural Correction- Sit Tall, Walk Tall. Extension Exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times. Get on all fours, with your arms straight and your hands directly under your shoulders; your knees hip-width apart.

Hello Neeraj, Sounds like you have a muscle spasm which happens usually of you have slept in wrong position. You can apply Volini gel gently on the muscles and do a hot water fomentation. But don't massage the muscles.

I am a 25 years old male and have backbones pain for last 2 months. What should I do?

Hi You are very young to actually have persistent back pains. If you have localized back pain with no other symptoms like radiating leg pain, neurological symptoms like numbness, weakness, paresthesias etc, then you can start with following recommendations for initial period of 2-3 weeks: - to maintain proper posture of your back while working and sleeping - if pain is more then you can take a short course of an anti-inflammatory medication like tab etoshine or paracetamol or one which suits you - physical therapy initially under supervision of a trained physiotherapist and then to continue at home - adequate calcium & vitamin d intake if levels are low in body - ice packs can applied if your pain is acute, then hot fomentation can be done at home - analgesic spray for local application can be used and is easily available. - avoid lifting heavyweight/ acute forward bending in mornings etc we will observe you for next 2-3 weeks how you respond to this conservative management protocol. If you are not feeling better, then we will have to get some investigations like, dynamic x rays of lower back and few blood tests for evaluation.

Massage with your thumbs from the mid points of the shoulder blades on both sides towards the lower back of your head up to lower level of the ears. Use oil or water for massage. May be prolonged standing you go for Sports Taping- stretch the tape from both ends and apply on the affected area and Quadriceps Exercises- Lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain.

I am 28 year old female with effects of juvenile rheumatoid arthritis, which I got at the age of 4. I weigh around 76 kg and this has been constant for a year. I did not notice any reduction in weight even if I have diet and exercise. As daily walking gives me knee pain I am not able to go for walk or jogging. Do the following: 1. Take adequate pain meds to keep the arthritis under control 2. Do stretching and strengthening exercises for muscles around the joints affected 3. If joints are warm, keep ice packs to reduce inflammation 4. Do diet control. Reduce all food that is white in color like rice, sugar, milk and so on. 5. Do underwater exercises in a warm pool or bathtub. 6. Once pain is reduced resume daily walking. 7. If pain is unbearable consider knee replacement surgery. Youngest patient to undergo knee replacement in our hospital was 25 years old, but she had badly damaged knee joints. Good luck!

I want to know your detailed clinical history as to what do you actually mean by stretching of nerves, is it back pain or something else that you want to describe? also as you are very young, my advice to you will be to start with some intensive physical therapy sessions with a good physiotherapist, take a short course of ant-inflammatory medication which suits you for 5-7 days, maintain proper posture while working and at home, avoid putting too much stresses on your affected shoulder and lower back region till the time you are pain free and start 2-3 km of daily morning brisk walks. Also attach your relevant investigations, your treatment records till now. It helps me to better understand your condition and prescribe accordingly.
