Advice. Avoid sitting cross legged. Avoid squatting- quadriceps exercises- lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. Core strengthening exercise- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Hams stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. Repeat 10 times, twice a day. Sports taping- stretch the tape from both ends and apply on the affected area contrast fomentation (hot and cold).

Yes there is cure. Regular ruksha swedan, keeping digestion in check & some oral medicines for digesting the toxin. It usually happens after pregnancy if post partum system of 40 days is not followed.

Check whether you are diabetic or not. Because always numbness feels because of diabetics. This is a general low back ache and for this you can follow these measures: one keep a pillow right under the knee while sleeping, next is you can keep ice in the painful area for about 5--10 minutes, if pain still persists you can stretch your body by twisting the waist on both sides how we used to do in the school drill similarly you can try which will help you relax as well will reduce the pain. It looks like you are anaemic. If you have back pain after you sit for long hours then it is due to your haemoglobin levels as it is important to check that. Anaemia always leads to the symptoms of being tired and also having back / leg pain though there may not be any pathological reasons for back pain. As arthritis is very common that you get generally bilaterally. Ice therapy would definitely help to reduce the inflammation. We also advise you to use knee cap which would help to prevent the knee from damaging further and also to maintain the quadriceps muscle tone. You can take Ultrasonic therapy in one of the nearby physiotherapy clinics which would help to heal the damaged cartilages along with shortwave diathermy which would help to improve the blood circulation. Simple Knee Exercies Specific knee exercises will also help ie. Keeping ball underneath the knee and keep pressing it. That's the simple exercise which will help you to strengthen the knee Ice therapy would definitely help to reduce the inflammation. We also advise you to use knee cap which would help to prevent the knee from damaging further and also to maintain the quadriceps muscle tone. Its the spasm in the muscle which makes the bone prominent in case of pain. Do hot fomentation, any gel you can apply and do exercises. It will go away.

Conditional, breastfeeding mothers need to change positions while they are not feeding. They can sleep according to their comfort. However, when they are feeding then they need to lay side se side position some mothers, particularly larger breasted women, find they will need to roll themselves and their baby over to their other side to feed from the second breast, whilst others will find that once they have fed from the lower breast they can just lean forward and feed from the top breast without changing sides. If you do choose the second alternative you will need to make sure that the lower breast is well drained before switching to the upper breast so that blockages in the milk ducts to not occur.

Hi thanks for your query and welcome to lybrate. I am Dr. Akshay from fortis hospital, new delhi. Actually there can be many reasons for an isolated finger pain, there definitely can be arthritis of the affected finger especially if there is a pre existing h/o an injury to the affected finger, there can be tendinitis, ganglion etc. If there is no associated swelling, skin redness or local warmth etc, then you can start with conservative management in form of gentle anti inflammatory medication, physical therapy, local analgesic spray etc and we see the response for next 3-4 weeks. If it does not settle down, then we will get the x ray (hand ap & oblique) view and a few blood tests for evaluation. Do not hesitate to contact me if you need any further assistance. Dear lybrate-user, knee pain can have various reason. I feel you can start having supplements for vit d, calcium and increase your dietary protein content. Later on can go for simple x ray of the knee initiallyand later on may be mri. To know the cause of your knee pain at this young age is important in general if it is a simple knee pain without any injured structure around knee then you can start with with simple knee strengthening exercises, like quadriceps strengthening, hamstrings strengthening, strengthening of the muscles around the hip. Firstly avoid long sitting, standing tk rest and break between work. Do walk and spine extension exercise. Heat fermentation with rest time for 20 minutes. Tk muscle relaxant medicine and start stretching exercise in daily routine.

I've severe back ache with pains shooting down on right side from buttock to thigh. What should I do?

Kindly show me digital x rays of affected part. Rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick matress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Do hot fomantation. Ibuprofen 200mg od & sos x 5days bio d3 max 1tab od x10 do neck, back & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. You will need other supportive medicines also. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. Do reply back for detailed treatment plan. Do not ignore. It could be beginning of a serious problem.

A detailed history of the site of pain and history of pain can help me come to a perfect diagnosis and treatment. Joint pain can be caused by a number of issues, such as osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, gout, bursitis, tendinitis or a strain, sprain or other injury affecting the ligaments, bursae or tendons surrounding a joint. It can occur in any part of the body but is most common in the knees, shoulders and hips. The pain can range from mild to severe and may be accompanied by swelling and stiffness in one or more joints. Severe joint pain, especially when caused by degenerative conditions like arthritis, needs proper diagnosis and treatment. You should also consult your doctor if your joint pain is accompanied by swelling, redness and tenderness, or lasts for more than three days. But, you can get rid of mild joint pain with the help of natural home remedies. Cayenne Cayenne pepper contains a compound called capsaicin with natural analgesic or pain-relieving properties. In a 2010 study published in the Journal of the Medical Association of Thailand, researchers found that applying gel containing 0.0125 percent capsaicin helped relieve mild to moderate pain in women suffering from knee osteoarthritis. ? Slightly heat one-half cup of coconut oil. Mix in two tablespoons of cayenne pepper powder. Apply it on the affected area, leave it on for 20 minutes and then rinse it off. Do this a few times a day until you get relief from the pain. ? Alternatively, you can use a capsaicin cream topically on the affected area daily. Note: Cayenne may initially cause a burning sensation. Do not apply it on open skin or wounds

Yes. But if it's a complete tear and you are experiencing instability of knee, giving way feeling then you will need ACL reconstruction surgery.

I have back pain for last 5-6 years and it got severe for the last 6 months or so. I consulted with a neurologist and he said there is some problem in my lower spine and advised to swim daily and some exercise everyone of which includes bending my back to the back side. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. SPRING BEDS, FOLDING BEDS OR THICK MATRESS ARE HARMFUL Use no pillow under the head. DO HOT FOMANTATION. Paracetamol 250mg OD & SOS x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab OD x10. Do neck, back & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. You will need other supportive medicines also. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. If it does not give relief in 4-5days, contact me again.. Do not ignore .It could be beginning of a serious problem.

Sun exposure and a build-up of dead skin cells can cause the skin on your elbows to appear darker than the the skin on the rest of your body. Hyperpigmentation could be because of many reasons. So, get thorough body check up done and share the reports with me. Meantime, you can start using Bioforce's Blooume - 55 ointment (for clear skin) twice daily and also use Bakson's Suncare Sunscreen, 20-30 minutes before stepping out under the sun. Use Schwabe's Calendula soap. Also, take a multivitamin - Supradyn/ 1 tab. daily for 1month. Revert me back.

Apply volini gel on neck. do warm fomentation. do neck muscle exercises in pain free period. avoid high pillow. consult if not ok. relax your eyes , every 30 min for 5 min. while working on computer.

Hello, Is there any history of injury or hurt to the area? Any underlying medical condition? Medication: Meantime, take homoeopathic medicines - Arnica 200 and Rhus Tox. 200 - take both of them thrice daily for 1 week. Also, apply Schwabe's Topi-Arnica and Topi MP Gel on the affected area in circular motions gently thrice a day. Get back to me thereafter.
