Hi thanks for your query and welcome to lybrate. I am Dr. Akshay from fortis hospital, new delhi. You have got multiple problems for which you actually need to see a general physician. For your spine pain, - to maintain proper posture while working and sleeping - if pain is more then you can take a short course of an anti-inflammatory medication which suits you - physical therapy initially under supervision of a trained physiotherapist and then to continue at home - adequate calcium & vitamin d intake if levels are low in body - ice packs can applied if your pain is acute, then hot fomentation can be done at home - analgesic spray for local application can be used and is easily available. - avoid lifting heavyweight/ acute forward bending in mornings etc in case you are having back pain. Take Mag phos 12x - thrice daily for some time. If the pain is acute also do hot and cold compress alternately till the time you get relief.

Identify the mid point between the ankle bone and tendons and give pressure with a blunt edge on either side of your foot for 2 minutes. Also give pressure in the web between 2nd and 3rd finger from your toe for 2 minutes. Finally give a good massage for both feet in hot water. Identify the dipping portion on the back of your knee folding. Press this dip with both middle fingers and hold your knee with your thumbs for support. Please swing 20 times morning and evenings. This will relieve your problem. Consult after 10 days.

Dear sir/madam Sir while I am drive two wheeler, suddenly another two wheeler comes at that time I put my strength on both hands to control bike to not to get accident later my Left hand wrist got pain it happens twisting of hand and weight lifting, but there is no inflammation and nothing if I massage with OMNIGEL IT WILL get relief and again the Lt hand wrist muscle get rigid to I unable to twist or unable to lift even bucket of water, For my problem please suggest any ointment or tablets. Quad Clenches: Lie flat on your back or sit upright on a chair with leg kept horizontally on another surface. Now, tighten the muscle on the front of the thigh by pushing your knee down. You should feel your thigh muscles clench, Hold for 3 secs. Repeat 10 times twice a day. Short Arcs: Lie flat on your back or sit upright with your leg placed horizontally on a flat surface like a chair or bed. Place a rolled up towel under the knee. Pull your toes towards you and clench you thigh muscles. Slowly lift your foot up off the bed until your knee is straight (keep your knee resting on the towel). Hold for 3 secs and slowly lower them on the chair. Repeat 10 times twice a day. Straight Leg Raise: Lie flat on your back. One leg and knee will be straight and other leg should be bent. Pull your toes towards you and tighten/clench the muscle on the front of the thigh, locking your knee straight. Lift your foot up in the air, about 6 inches off the bed. Hold for 3 secs and slowly lower the leg. The knee must remain straight the whole time you are doing this exercise.

Hold the position initially for 10 seconds, and gradually work up to 20 to 30 seconds. Seated Hamstring Stretch While sitting at the edge of a chair, straighten one leg in front of the body with the heel on the floor. Then, sit up straight and try pushing the navel towards the thigh without leaning the trunk of the body forwards. Hold this stretch for 30 seconds Repeat 3 times for each leg.

You have post febrile illness arthralgia. These joint pains usually last few weeks to a few months. Management is largely focused on relief of symptoms till the illness subsides. If symptoms are significant, and affect daily activities, it is better to consult me or some other Orthopedic in clinic.

Hi thanks for your query and welcome to lybrate. I am Dr. Akshay from fortis hospital, new delhi. You are very young and if you have not sustained any significant shoulder injury, then this pain can be due to weakness in your muscles, or some bit of soft tissue strain or inflammation. If there are no s/s of inflammation like swelling, skin redness or local warmth etc, then you can start with gentle anti inflammatory medications, ice packs for local application, analgesic spray after fomentation and see how it goes in the next 2-3 weeks, and if it does not improve, then we will have to get some investigation done for evaluation. I do running daily, but now I stopped running because I am felling pain in my knee of right leg for last 1 month . There is no pain in knee of left leg. I don't feel any pain while walking and bending my right leg. I feel pain when I do running ,stretching and making pressure on it. I have to go for my sports after 1 month where I have to do running also. Sir or mam please help me how can I cure it within 1 month. I just have 1 month to cure it ! What should I do ? Dear lybrate-user, your problem is most likely a minor condition of the cartilage it the meniscus (shock absorber of the knee joint). Please consult an orthopaedician for a good clinical examination and x ray if needed. Most likely exercises can improve your problem and you should be able to get back to physical activity. Hi lybrate-user, fallen from stairs got injury and feeling pain. Do not worry. Apply diclofenac gel and take heat fermentation to reduce pain. If the pain is severe you can take accelofenac paracetamol tablet 1 time a day for 2 days only.

I am 45 years old. After returning from high hilly area ie. Siachin glacier at the height of 15000' where negligible oxygen availability (in the year 2007), feeling light pain in knee joint. Also got hurt in right knee with rock and some times feeling more in right knee. Specially after seating for quite long at one place but not always or while walking in the beginning.
