Why are SKIN TAGs so annoying?

MBBS, MD - Dermatology, DNB

Why are SKIN TAGs so annoying?

Skin tags: causes and treatments

Skin tags, also known as acrochordons, are small brown or darker-than-skin tone growths on the surface of the skin. Tags are very common and harmless growths and tend to occur on the neck, under the breasts, armpits, eyelids and folds of the groin. They generally take place after midlife. About 25% of people report having skin tags after they cross the age of 50.

What causes skin tags to occur?

Skin tags are very common among diabetics and obese individuals. Pregnant women also develop skin tags, as a consequence of changes in the body's hormonal levels. Skin tags tend to occur when your skin rubs against clothing or skin. They are normally caused by blood vessels and collagen that gets trapped inside the thicker portions of the skin. For this reason, they are typically found in folds and creases of the skin. Sometimes, they reduce on their own if blood supply to the tissue has been disrupted due to them getting twisted.

What procedures are involved in their treatment?

Skin tags are generally removed for purely cosmetic reasons but when they do become troublesome, as in, they rub against jewelry, skin or clothing, doctors recommend their removal as the area can end up becoming irritated.

The following procedures are performed to remove these annoying growths on skin:

1. Excision - in this procedure the skin tag gets removed using a scalpel.

2. Ligation - the procedure involves the cutting off of blood supply to the skin tag.

3. Cauterization - the procedure involves the burning off the skin tag using electrolysis (process that involves decomposition of a matter by electric current)

4. Cryosurgery - in this procedure, the skin tag is frozen before removing it. An instrument containing liquid nitrogen is used to do the removal.

Hi, Sleep plays a vital role in good health and well-being throughout your life. Getting enough quality sleep at the right times can help protect your mental health, physical health, quality of life, and safety. In children and teens, sleep also helps support growth and development. The damage from sleep deficiency can occur in an instant (such as a car crash), or it can harm you over time. For example, ongoing sleep deficiency can raise your risk for some chronic health problems. It also can affect how well you think, react, work, learn, and get along with others. Management: Here are five tips everyone can use to help improve the quality of their sleep: Keep your bedroom cool and dark Put away/turn off all electronic devices while preparing for bedtime Stick to a regular bedtime and wake time every day, even on weekends Stop drinking caffeine by the early afternoon and avoid large late-night meals Skip the late-afternoon nap, as it can make it harder to sleep at bedtime Avoid taking unnecessary stress/ tension. Do regular exercise. Go for a brisk walk in the morning. Medication: Take Schwabe's Bacopa Monierri 1x/ thrice daily and Kali Phos./ once daily at night for 1month.

How get a large penis and sex time 30 minute and second question hair fall 2year pls help.

How get a large penis and sex time 30 minute and second question hair fall 2year pls help.
Hi, unfortunately, for men who desire to increase their size of penis, the penis size is determined by genetics; therefore, no foods can accomplish making it bigger. However, there are some foods that can help accelerate your training for penis. If you combine a specific diet plan together with your exercises for penis, you can get the result you want quickly. Some foods called vasodialators may help you a lot in their training process; however, they can increase blood flow to your penis. Some examples of these foods are milk, eggs, liver, tuna, salmon, and vegetables like tomatoes, broccoli, carrots, and sweet potatoes. If you want to increase the size of your penis and improve the health of your masculinity without side effects and pain, you can try these foods in your diet plan: ginkgo biloba, dark chocolate, ginger, almonds and pumpkin seeds. Duration of sexual act or performance vary from person to person depending upon the psyche to control it. Few people complain of premature ejaculation and few complain that they are not able to discharge in time. Some techniques as per sexologist kinsey can be applied where root of the penis is pressed for few seconds before expected emmision and thereby emmision is delayed for some time. The technique require some personal training for few days and correct dietary habits.

My HBa1c is 5.7 which I tested yesterday & it was 6.1 about 4 months before. Fasting sugar ranges b/w 115~120. I have lost 15 kg since last one year. I am taking 500 mg glyciphage twice daily. Also, my stomach is bad (constipation) for 8-9 months. My sleep is also not fully relaxing for many years. But, last one year or so has been really bad interns of weight loss & continuous constipation. I tried homemade remedies but not much relief. Please advice if my sugar medication is the cause of my weight loss & how do I get rid of bad stomach which is troubling me the most. I am thinking of castor oil even to have some relief. Thanks in advance.

C.S.C, D.C.H, M.B.B.S
General Physician,
What are the symptoms of jaundice and swine flu. How can we identify it and what are the remedies.
Jaundice, also referred to as icterus, is the yellow staining of the skin and sclerae (the whites of the eyes) by abnormally high blood levels of the bile pigment, bilirubin. The yellowing extends to other tissues and body fluids and also may turn the urine dark.Symptoms of H1N1 swine flu are like regular flu symptoms and include fever, cough, sore throat, runny nose, body aches, headache, chills, and fatigue. Many people with swine flu have had diarrhea and vomiting.
