I had cramped periods last month. And now I have pain in my thighs, waist. Could it be pregnancy?
The only sure way to confirm it is to do a blood test for pregnancy and an ultrasound. Please meet a gynaecologist

Sir its a my wife's problem. Actually she is my fiance. His vagina getting no shape. Sir can you suggest any good gel or medicines to get tight shape for happy sexual felling.

DHMS (Diploma in Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery)

Sir its a my wife's problem. Actually she is my fiance. His vagina getting no shape. Sir can you suggest any good gel...
First of all you want to know that it is not the Vagina that is loose,it is your Pelvic Floor Muscles. It is important to know when going about looking for a natural way to fix a loose vagina that you target the correct area. The pelvic floor muscle is what surrounds both the vagina and vaginal wall muscle. When the pelvic floor muscle is tight everything else will be nicely held and supported in place. The reason the vaginal wall muscle becomes loose is because it sort of looks and acts like a folded, very elastic and stretchy accordion. So when the pelvic floor muscle stretches, the vaginal wall muscle can’t help itself and will unfold more and more with it to. The 3 Main Reasons for a Loose Vagina • Natural Aging process (because of wonderful gravity kicking in, but that’s when exercises are coming in. You can maintain a tight vagina until death) • Vagina loosens after multiple births (e.g. four babies over four years, and not having a break in between to strengthen the pelvic floor muscle after each one.) • There are rare cases where vaginal looseness happens due to severe medical conditions Natural Methods for a Tight vagina or Pelvic Floor Muscles 1 Have an Orgasm – the fun part about toning your pelvic floor muscles When you have an orgasm – that is actually your pelvic floor muscle contracting. So the more you orgasm the more you start toning up your pelvic floor muscle. As your pelvic floor muscle becomes stronger, so will your orgasms . 2. Kegel Exercises are also known as pelvic floor exercises because they specifically target this area and prevent weakness in the pelvic floor area. The pelvic floor is often referred to as a “hammock” of muscles that hold all of the pelvic organs in place. Kegel exercises are a great place to start treating vaginal looseness, especially if you are struggling to reach climax temporarily. Plus, they can be done in the privacy of your own home, when no one is around, so no one has to know you are doing them. Kegel exercises can only help though if they are done on a regular basis. Pelvic floor muscle training exercises can help strengthen the muscles under the uterus, bladder, and bowel (large intestine). They can help both men and women who have problems with urine leakage or bowel control and Vaginal looseness. A pelvic floor muscle training exercise is like pretending that you have to urinate, and then holding it. You relax and tighten the muscles that control urine flow. It is important to find the right muscles to tighten. The next time you have to urinate, start to go and then stop. Feel the muscles in your vagina, bladder, or anus get tight and move up. These are the pelvic floor muscles. If you feel them tighten, you have done the exercise right. If you are still not sure whether you are tightening the right muscles, keep in mind that all of the muscles of the pelvic floor relax and contract at the same time. Because these muscles control the bladder, rectum, and vagina, the following tips may help: • Women: Insert a finger into your vagina. Tighten the muscles as if you are holding in your urine, then let go. You should feel the muscles tighten and move up and down. PERFORMING PELVIC FLOOR EXERCISES: 1. Begin by emptying your bladder. 2. Tighten the pelvic floor muscles and hold for a count of 10. 3. Relax the muscles completely for a count of 10. 4. Do 10 repetitions, 3 to 5 times a day (morning, afternoon, and night). You can do these exercises at any time and place. Most people prefer to do the exercises while lying down or sitting in a chair. After 4 to 6 weeks, most people notice some improvement. It may take as long as 3 months to see a major change. After a couple of weeks, you can also try doing a single pelvic floor contraction at times when you are likely to leak (for example, while getting out of a chair). A word of caution: Some people feel that they can speed up the progress by increasing the number of repetitions and the frequency of exercises. However, over-exercising can instead cause muscle fatigue and increase urine leakage. If you feel any discomfort in your abdomen or back while doing these exercises, you are probably doing them wrong. Breathe deeply and relax your body when you do these exercises. Make sure you are not tightening your stomach, thigh, buttock, or chest muscles. When done the right way, pelvic floor muscle exercises have been shown to be very effective at improving Vaginal looseness.. 3.Exercise, Sweat, Exercise, Sweat Do explore other forms of exercise too, like yoga for strengthening your core muscles which together will help keep your pelvic floor muscles tighter for longer. 4. A Healthy Diet – Fruits, Vegetables, Juices, Smoothies To keep the muscles in your body strong, you don’t just need exercise, you also need to feed the muscle correctly daily to ensure its correct growth and repair. So, ensure you get a healthy diet full of wholegrain organic carbohydrates, organic lean animal protein (excellent muscle builder), and organic fruits and vegetables if you wish to keep your vaginal muscle healthy and strong. To all the women out there who currently have vaginal looseness, don’t fret, there is so much you can do about it starting today. Try my suggestions above right away, and you could start feeling the benefits of a tighter vagina, and raised confidence levels sooner than you think! You have the power to do anything after all…

What contraceptive methods should be used by me to avoid sexually transmitted disease such as syphilis or gonorrhea.

MBBS
Sexologist, Delhi
Female condom is the best method to avoid sexually transmitted diseases. Female condoms covers the inside of the vagina and keeps semen and pre-cum out, thus reducing the risk of sexually transmitted infections. However, it is expensive in compare to the male condoms.

Please note that its not advisable to take pills as it disturbs the hormonal balance in your system. Better use condom. If she does not have menstrual irregularities then its ok. If she is having any menstrual irregularities - better get it checked by a doctor.

Does IVF Results In Twins?

Multispecilaity IVF Clinic

Does IVF Results In Twins?

In-vitro fertilisation (IVF) is one of the popular Assisted Reproductive Technologies (ART) for treating infertility and helping couples to conceive. The process involves the fertilisation of the egg with the sperm in a laboratory and thereafter, inserting the embryo formed, into the uterus. But lack of understanding about the topic has given rise to a number of myths such as:

Myth 1: IVF increases your fertility levels

Instead of making you more fertile, IVF stops your natural fertility cycle. This is usually done through hormones that are taken at the beginning of the process. The aim of such an action is to essentially put an end to your natural fertility process and create in its place an artificial cycle.

Myth 2: IVF hormone injections make you prone to uncontrollable emotions

In actuality, IVF hormone injections don’t cause you to suffer from out of control emotions but make you happier. This is because they come packed with the female hormone oestrogen, which produce endorphins (brain chemicals) that give you a sense of wellbeing.  The wave of emotions that you end up experiencing is a result of the stress and anxiety surrounding the success of a cycle.

Myth 3: IVF never fails but is always successful

The success of the procedure depends on a number of factors such as quality and quantity of embryos and age. It is said that chances of conception decreases with age, with women above 40 reporting reduced fertility potential as well as success rate. On the other hand, women below the age of 35 have about 41% chance of getting pregnant.

Myth 4: It causes you to have triplets or twins

No, it’s not necessary for multiple births to take place if you opt for IVF. You can reduce the prospect of having twins or triplets by cutting down on the number of embryos that get inserted into the uterus.

In case you have a concern or query you can always consult an expert & get answers to your questions!

Hello. The total duration of pregnancy is 40 weeks that's 9 months and 7 days so you can calculate accordingly. But it's very difficult to plan the exact timing according to your wishes. Not necessarily you have ovulatory cycle every month. And you can not do any thing to have twins. Please leave certain things to almighty god and don't try to control everything.

If you have a doubt about pregnancy, you should test it with simple urine test. As she has already had menses she is unlikely to be pregnant. Sometimes because of hormonal changes or stress, menses can come like this.

Do non pregnant women lactate? If so, do this happen for women who has much breast stimulation?

MBBS, DGO

Do non pregnant women lactate? If so, do this happen for women who has much breast stimulation?
Post pregnancy when pregnancy is not there, normally women are lactating. It can be continue lactating for 2 to 3 years if women continue feeding baby. Otherwise women do not lactate. If it is the case than do blood "prolactin" level, if it is raised than you need treatment for it. It is the reason behind lactation. More breast stimulation also can increase level of prolactin. But if levels are normal than do consult with a surgeon to see properly what is problem and you may have to send secretion of breast for examination.

What is the reason behind getting sick and very much ill during the periods and in the age of more than sixty.
There are many cyclical hormonal changes going in during your monthly cycles and at the time of periods you feel discomfort and pain because of congestion and uterine spasms because of that and after the age of 60 there are old age changes coming on in the body which can give you different symptoms in different people that is why it is very important to keep an active and healthy life style.

Running - 7 Things You Must Know Before You Go For It!

Running - 7 Things You Must Know Before You Go For It!

Running is proven to be one of the most efficient forms of exercise as it has a ton of benefits attached to it. For instance, running helps you in maintaining your body weight by cutting down that unwanted or extra body fat, and helps in keeping you slim and trim. It also aids in improving your metabolism. Regular exercising will keep you energised, and increase your stamina.

Before starting with this physical activity, there are certain things you should know about. These are:

  1. Be patient: Patience is key! Now, we all know that that nothing can change in a day. You won't notice any signs of improvement on the first day. So, the best thing to do is work out every single day with dedication, and you'll notice the results in a month or so.
  2. Be Comfortable: It is very necessary to feel comfortable before you start your exercise. If you are going to run with your high heels or slippers on, it's never going to work out. So, it is very important to dress in your most comfortable attire before you start running.
  3. Eat well: A healthy diet packed with all the essential nutrients is an absolute must if you plan to take up running as a regular exercise. Do not starve yourself at any cost or skip any meal. Running will take up a lot of your energy and a healthy diet is a must if you intend on being fit and strong.
  4. Drink lots of water: It is very essential to drink lots of water and keep yourself hydrated throughout the day. Pro tip: Gulp down some water after your run, as we tend to lose water and minerals from our body in the form of sweat.
  5. Run with music on: Recent studies have proven that running with music on is the better alternative. Music helps us focus more on our goal and also helps us stay calm.
  6. Consistency: You have to be consistent in your workout and only then will you be able to notice a significant change in your health. Running at least once a day is recommended. Some people tend to run twice a day too, but that depends from person to person. Do not burden yourself too much. Running is an exhausting exercise and you should not force your body too much.
  7. Calm your body and mind: Running or jogging in the morning can have a positive impact on you as it reduces stress and keeps you calm and sound throughout the day. If you wish to discuss about any specific problem, you can consult a Physiotherapist.

Hello, PCOS or pcod s a problem in which a woman's hormones are out of balance. It can cause problems with your periods and make it difficult to get pregnant. PCOS also may cause unwanted changes in the way you look. If it isn't treated, over time it can lead to serious health problems, such as diabetes and heart disease. The most common symptoms are: Acne.Weight gain and trouble losing weight.Extra hair on the face and body.Thinning hair or even hair loss on scalp.Irregular periods. Often women with PCOS have fewer than nine periods a year. Some women have no periods. Others have very heavy bleeding.Fertility problems. Many women who have PCOS have trouble getting pregnant(infertility), depression. Regular exercise, healthy foods, and weight control are the key treatments for PCOS. Treatment (hormonal) can reduce unpleasant symptoms and help prevent long-term health problems. Try to fit in moderate activity and/or vigorous activity often. Brisk Walking, jogging, dance or aerobics are great exercise that most people can do.Eat heart-healthy foods. This includes lots of vegetables, fruits, nuts, beans, and whole grains. It limits foods that are high insaturated fat, such as meats, cheeses, and fried foods. Most women who have PCOS can benefit from losing weight.
