Hi thanks for your query and welcome to lybrate. I am Dr. Akshay from fortis hospital, new delhi. This kind of pain is usually due to inflammation of your heel fascia. It is chronic pain which get aggravated especially when you walk more and is better with rest. Treatment modalities are aimed at relieving inflammation of the fascia, like ice packs, physical therapy, footwear modification and anti-inflammatory therapy. You have mentioned pain in thighs and foot region, do you actually feel it is a radiating pain from your lower back region which is going in the legs? do you also suffer from lower back pain? is there any associated numbness, weakness in legs and paresthesias as well? please also send me any investigations if you have done in this regard and what treatment have you taken thus far? meanwhile I will advise you to continue with your walks and also intensive physical therapy for lower back region. Dear lybrate-user looks like you have early varicose veins, venous blood back flow causing red blood cells to go out of capillaries and giving you all the discoloration. Consult a vascular surgeon.

X-ray kra sakte ho or muscle stiff bhi h so abhi aage ki traf na jhuke muscle relaxant medicine le jb pai hota h or aaram kre heat fermentation bhi ke le din me do baar agr aaram hota h to theak h pir physiotherapy treatment le aaram aa jaiga.

Apply Hot Fomentation twice daily. Avoid bending in front. Postural Correction- Sit Tall, Walk Tall. Extension Exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times.

For pain apply hot water and cold water fomentation thrice a day for 12 days of 15 minutes duration each time use firm even and hard mattress for sleep learn spinal extension exercise from neuro physiotherapist do good stretches regularly to the spine and both upper and lower limbs from neuro physiotherapist best wishes

Kindly show me a photograph of the affected part. Rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick matress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Do hot fomantation. Paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do neck, back & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. You will need other supportive medicines also. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. If it does not give relief in 4-5days, contact me again. Do not ignore. It could be beginning of a serious problem.

First of all check your posture when you are lifting any material like heavy bucket. And try to lift the heavy bucket without bending your back. You may lift the bucket after bending your knees only. This will definitely help you. * gentle massage with lukewarm mustard oil of your waist area will also give you relief. * surya namaskar is only exercise which you need to do. * in diet vegetable protein of cereal, b complex supplements and half teaspoon of haldi in a cup of milk for seven days will give you enough relief.

Hi, I am 31 years woman, weighing 93 Kgs. Suffering with Plantar fasciitis. Recently I have joined Bokwa classes which is similar to Zumba exercise program. But it involves lot of jumping. I am suffering more pain after the workout in my foot. Though I am wearing proper supporting shoes during the workouts. Pls suggest if it is dangerous to do this kind of fitness exercise with Plantar fasciitis or not and alternative way to loose weight.

Hi lybrate-user, any exercise which makes you jump will not allow your planter fasciitis for sure. You need to take break for couple of months from bokwa. Most people have hormonal issue underlying their weight problem and simply doing exercise for 45-60 min per day is not very effective for weight loss. Deciding a diet plan as per your metabolic profile is most effective tool for sustainable weight loss without struggling with hunger or low energy. Avoid all junk food and all sweet food. Low fat diet does not work for majority of people. Eat wholesome nutritious food full of fibers, good quality fat like ghee and coconut etc. Don't focus on calories but on nutritional density and diversity. Simultaneously working on exercise and diet will surely help. Best rate to lose weight is 1/2 kg per week. If that happens, it is least likely to go high again in future. You do not have to do rigorous exercise to lose weight but start with something small. Let us say 8 minute workout. Pick one which you like and can do. Trying to lose weight in very short time will need some form of crash diet. Even if you lose weight doing this kind of crash diet, you will get it all back within no time and all the gain will be mainly fat. Not good for your health. Be gentle and patient with yourself. Demonstrate commitment in your persistent efforts. Make comprehensive change in diet, exercise (low impact, high intesity), sleep and stress in your routine. This is called lifestyle medicine. If you can not do it on your own, find some lifestyle medicine expert who can help you in this over extended period of time. We even do this long distance over phone and internet. Best wishes to you.

I'm 27 years old and I injured myself 7 years back in a football game. Now I have chronic ACL tear in both my knees, sometimes my knee slips but I reposition it myself. Now my Mir report confirms I have early osteoarthritis. Is there Any permanent solution for this? If yes, then will I be able to continue my game after treatment?

Chronic acl tear is the reason for instability of knee and so early oa. At this age its not all good, for your sports life. You should get your acl repaired asap. Take univestin to slow process of oa.
