Hello Anu, only exercise will help you to reduce your belly. Please try doing stomach comprising exercise or yoga. Have your dinner early. Avoid going to bed soon after food.

I have irregular periods from the very beginning of my menses. Now i’m 24 and the çase has remain altered except 4 years back when I was on medication prescribed by a gyne for the same. The reports showed hormonal disturbance but I was not comfortable with taking pills everyday so I discontinued it. Please suggest me other possible way.

muscular stiffness is there so do hot fermentation and stretching exercise if it work then OK otherwise physiotherapy treatment for few days posture correction must. avoid long sitting, standing ,toward bending lifting weight.

Quadriceps exercises- lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. Core strengthening exercise- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Hams stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. Repeat 10 times, twice a day. Sports taping- stretch the tape from both ends and apply on the affected area.

Yes its sciatica pain. If pain is acute means last 2 days then do hot fermentation and apply pain relief ointment and do stretching exercise like supine lying bend your one knee and do hip flex and hold then do straight leg raise do 3 to 5 time according your comfortable ness if it work then ok otherwise swd tens and ultrasonic therapy rest must equal balance on both legs avoid toward bending.

At the bottom of my legs just above the ankle and upto the knee, when I press my leg near the bone it hurts very much and problem is in both legs, everything is normal and I don't have any pain but even slight pressing is hurting me, what can be the cause and cure, please help, it's been 6 months since I am observing this problem.

Hi apply pranacharya restopain oil or prasarini oil on your affected part then give hot fomentation. Take maha rasnadi kwath 2-2 tsf twice a day. And agni tundi vati and maha yograj guggul 1-1 tab twice a day.

Hi thanks for the query. Most of the times cause of the back pain after caesarian section is not due to the injection given in the back. During your pregnancy mostly in the last three months your back posture is abnormal carrying fetus in your abdomen. These mechanical problems cause back pain during pregnancy.

Hi thanks for your query and welcome to lybrate. I am Dr. Akshay from fortis hospital, new delhi. Actually there are many causes for swelling in limbs like cardiac causes, deranged lft, kft, thyroid profile etc. Since she has also been complaining of chest pain etc, my advise is to meet up with a cardiologist and rule out a cardiac cause for it first, then you can consult a general physician to rule out other causes for these symptoms. Keep your leg raised while sitting or lying quadriceps strengthening exercises- quad clenches: lie flat on your back or sit upright on a chair with leg kept horizontally on another surface. Now, tighten the muscle on the front of the thigh by pushing your knee down. You should feel your thigh muscles clench, hold for 3 secs. Repeat 10 times twice a day. Short arcs: lie flat on your back or sit upright with your leg placed horizontally on a flat surface like a chair or bed. Place a rolled up towel under the knee. Pull your toes towards you and clench you thigh muscles. Slowly lift your foot up off the bed until your knee is straight (keep your knee resting on the towel). Hold for 3 secs and slowly lower them on the chair. Repeat 10 times twice a day. Straight leg raise: lie flat on your back. One leg and knee will be straight and other leg should be bent. Pull your toes towards you and tighten/clench the muscle on the front of the thigh, locking your knee straight. Lift your foot up in the air, about 6 inches off the bed. Hold for 3 secs and slowly lower the leg. The knee must remain straight the whole time you are doing this exercise.

Tingling, numbness ,pain and swelling in affected region. You should avoid body positions which increase pain. You can take pain killers ,anti-inflammatory medicines as per prescription after consulting a doctor.
