Diet & Lifestyle Advice 1.Avoid the intake of heavy, dry, cool, and stale foods,refined foods like jams, pastries, packaged, and canned foods. 2.Also avoid tea, coffee, aerated drinks, and alcoholic beverages, pickles, potatoes, and root vegetables except radish and carrot. 3..Increase the intake of whole-wheat flour, whole grains, brown rice, barley, legumes (lentils, beans, peas, chickpeas, soybeans, etc.), buttermilk, rock salt, Indian gooseberries (amla), green leafy vegetables, and foods that are rich in fiber. 4.Eat more fruits including oranges, figs, strawberries, kiwis, bananas, pears, papayas, apples, grapes, and mangoes. 5.Increase daily liquid consumption in the form of water, soup, juice, milk, buttermilk, etc. 6.Engage in light exercise like walking, yoga, and swimming.,,Avoid sleeping during the daytime and waking up late in the night. HOME REMEDIES..:: 1.Apply sesame oil on external dry piles followed by warm fomentation (warm moist compresses or sitting in warm water). The easiest method is to sit in a tub with the buttocks submerged in warm water. 2.Eat 4 figs twice a day, in the morning and evening. Saturate 4 figs in water for the whole night; eat these in the morning. Remember not to drink water prior to eating the figs. Saturate another 4 figs in the morning to be eaten in the evening. Do this every day for 4 weeks. 3. Take 1 tsf triphala churna at night daily with luke warm water. 4. Revert me back for more medications.

U need to take medication regular and long term. Like 3 months minimum. Use steroids nasal spray. If you avoid medicine, you can get nasal polyps, asthma.

If the stiff neck is spontaneous, then there is a good chance that it will go off by itself after few days if the stiff neck is resultant of trauma, you need to have proper evaluation I would advice you to 1. Avoid driving 2 wheelers 2. Avoid using pillows 3. Avoid bending neck down for long periods of time for one week in all probability, you will find stiff neck gone if the problem still persists, please get back to us.

Thus looks like a cardiac cause of your pain. I woluld like to see the ecg personally before commenting. If needed, we can get an echocardiography done.

Dear, These are some instructions & methods for good sleep: • Frequent oil massage of head with oil relax your mind and enhances sleep. You can also do foot massage daily it destress you. * Eat food with a bowl of curd and after that off the light and go to sleep because after eating meal our brain become relax and sleep comes. • Drink a glass of milk at night daily. * Avoid the excess use of laptop and phone during night. For reducing weight go for regular exercise,take bland diet, avoid oily and spicy food. Take plenty of water and fruits.Avoid high calorie diet; soft drink etc.

Hello, Its always better to avoid, but if at all it should not go beyond 2 drinks per week...thats max.. Diabetes is all about metabolic problems and alcohol further slows down metabolism. Which is surely for good for the glucose uptake.

You should meet with a counselor and explore the possibility of being depressed endogenously. You may not be aware of this depression and are showing some signs of that. This is too much of sleep for your age and cannot be considered normal. Please take your parents to meet with the counselor for some inputs from them about your past. In the meantime do some of these recommendations very faithfully: Daily exercise of at least half an hour is a must. Even if you go to a gym, ask for aerobic and/or callisthenic exercises with whatever else you are doing. A healthy body harbors a healthy mind. With regard to memory, it is very important that your brain and body is ideally rested to be able to recall whatever is required, rather comfortably. Puzzles pose problems to the brain that help it to use new pathways and neurons, which give the brain considerable exercise. It taxes the left brain to use logic to solve the myriad possibilities which other activities do not stimulate. Crosswords are excellent for vocabulary learning and use. Jigsaws and Rubik cube stimulate different permutations to finally settle on the most likely one. Picture completion and anagrams help approach problem-solving from several angles. Do Sudoku, and memory co-relation activities and skills. Have a good night’s sleep, have a good breakfast of more proteins, meditate often, remain free of stress, eat a lot of fiber (whole grains, fruits and vegetables), nuts, avocado, eat dark chocolate, consume less of fat and use olive oil instead, do Yoga meditation exercises, etc. You need to check out if you are stronger visual or auditory. The visual is a better mode than the auditory. However, if you combine the two modes, you will get the best concentration. Have a special place of learning, which should be well lit, with soft painted walls, well-ventilated, with no distractions. When you get bored, study by writing. If you repeat learning, at least, five to seven times, you will apparently remember for a longer time. Sit comfortably but do not slouch. The reading material should be of a fairly large print. Study at small intervals of about 40 minutes and then take a break or change the subject. Short-term memory is a faculty of the left brain, and long-term memory is a feature of the right brain. When people are stressed, they tend to favor the right brain and abandon the left brain, where short-term memory resides. So, it is really very simple: deal with the stress and activate left brain functions. Here are a few suggestions to activate left brain function: shut your left nostril and breathe, move your eyes from right to left and vice versa for at least half a minute at a time, and do callisthenic exercises with some form of counting, regularly. There is a new exercise called Super Brain Yoga, which is done by holding the right earlobe with your left thumb and index finger, and the left earlobe with your right hand’s thumb and index finger. In this position, you must squat down and rise up and do this for five minutes every day. There is some memory enhancing techniques and study methods that your teacher will be able to guide you with. If your home life is full of distractions and stress, it is likely to affect your memory, adversely. In that case, I suggest that the family goes for counseling too. The following foods do help too: Blueberries, walnuts, turmeric, Spinach, tomatoes, broccoli, acorn squash, green tea, oily fish, boiled egg, turkey, apples, oatmeal, leafy greens, lentils, pumpkin seeds, avocado, cinnamon, thyme, sunflower seeds, and red wine. Avoid sugar and junk food.

Dear Vigneshwaram, generally software professionals suffer from neck pain due to spending their day in the same posture for prolong period of time. You can take hot water fomentation on the cervical/ neck area. In the office hours dont spend your day in the same position at a stretch for more that 1-2 hours instead get up from your place do some stretching exercises of the neck and then go back to your seat. You can also go for neck muscles strenghtening exercises. Do write to me if needed any further help.

Hi, relax! take homoeo medicine being gentle to use without any adverse effect, there of. Start the medicine on cessation of flow.(after a wk of period) @ pulsatilla 30-6 pills, thrice a day. @ colocynth200-6 pills, thrice a day & sos. This may continue during period, too. Report periodically. Take, plenty of water during period to eliminate toxins and to dilute your blood to ease your problem. Your diet b easily digestible on time. Take care.
