Hi, lemon has a high potassium and citrate content. Both these help in dissolving existing stone and preventing further stone formation. The amount of water is more important than the type of water. In general avoid ro demineralized water. Natural minerals are essential for normal body and kidney function. Reverse osmosis removes most of the minerals from water. Aim to keep urine colour very pale throughout day and night. Keep urine output at least 2.5 litres per day. Avoid drinking a lot of water at one time and not drinking for many hours. Uniform and continuous hydration is important, even at night. Apart from good water intake, daily aerobic exercises, reduction in salt and animal protein intake and adequate calcium intake (reduced calcium intake can increase stone risk due to elevated oxalate) are important to prevent kidney stones. Dear lybrate-user, it appears that you have a gum disease in which there are food deposits within the gums which make them weak and swollen. There is also bleeding from the gums and foul smell from the mouth. The teeth become loose leading gingivitis and later periodontitis. Kindly get your teeth cleaned by undergoing professional scaling. Take care.

Irregular periods ,acne ,excessive facial hair are symptoms of PCOS. (polycystic ovarian syndrome ).Get an ultrasound abdomen done to rule out ovarian cyst. Get your fasting sugar and insulin checked. If you are overweight reduce your weight through diet and exercise.

Hello, Thanks for your query. Try an over-the-counter medicine containing simethicone, which helps to break down gas bubbles. You can try a process of elimination by substituting a gassy food for a non-gassy one, and see which one is giving you the most trouble. A few basic substitutions: • Rice milk for cow’s milk • Bananas, blueberries and melon for apples, peaches and plums • Gluten-free and spelt cereals and bread for wheat and rye products • Bamboo shoots, bok choy, carrot, celery, corn, eggplant, green beans, lettuce, chives, parsnip, pumpkin, and tomato for artichokes, asparagus, Brussels sprouts, broccoli, cabbage, okra, onions, and peas. Hi, If the food you eat is not properly digested and absorbed then how can you gain weight.Nothing will work if this is not proper. Take *Alfa malt forte (medisynth) 1tablespoon to be taken twice a day during meals for 1mth *Take GRD Powder 1tablespoon in 1 cup of milk ,drink once a day

No need to worry eosinophil count is increased in allergies and infection. 0.51 is not a big issue. Take shakti drops of sri sri ayurveda 5-7 drops 2 times daily

Hello, Thanks for the query. Please answer following questions before I can suggest any treatment for him. 1) Since when is he having diabetes? 2) Has it been always been not under control or only recently has the control gone down? 3) What is his HbA1c%? 4) The evening rise of body temperature has been seen since how long? 5) Did have Tuberculosis infection any time earlier? 6) Similarly getting breathless has been noticed since when? Get following investigations: 1) Full diabetic profile (Fasting, PP, HbA1c%, creatinine, urea, uric acid,), lipid profile, sputum test for AFB, chest x-ray Come back with all these details, or consult your local physician. His diabetes needs to be controlled first effectively. Ideally FBG <100 mg, PP 160 to 170 mg & HbA1c% <7, these are the standards to be reached. I await your response. Thanks.

Home Remedies For Cracked Heels: Overview
Cracked heels are mainly caused when less attention is paid to foot care along with overexposure to harsh surfaces. In medical terms cracked heels are referred to as heel fissures. Usually it is not a painful condition; however, if care is not taken and the cracks deepen then it may cause immense pain and infection. Cracks may appear on any part of the body due to lack of moisture but they are more common on the heels of the feet. Walking, running, climbing … any physical activity requires the use of feet and the constant use makes it prone to cracks. But these cracks can be easily avoided with daily care and they are truly avoidable if you do some home remedies for cracked heels.
If dry cracks start appearing around your heels then you may also be facing a deficiency of zinc or omega 3 fatty acids.
Cracked heels does not pose any major health concern, however, you must attend to them at the earliest by following some home remedies for cracked heels. Delay in treating the cracks may cause them to deepen and may cause bleeding. Deep cracks may also be prone to infection.
Cracked heels are more common in people who are constantly moving on rough surfaces barefoot. Older people may suffer from cracked heels more often as the sebum production in the body is reduced with age. A cracked heel is a recurrent condition and needs little attention on daily basis by practicing some home remedies for cracked heels.
The main causes of cracked heels:
1. Dry skin: Some people have dry skin as compared to others. People with dry skin are more susceptible to suffering from cracked heels.
2. Physical activity: Continuous standing for long hours or working on rough hard surfaces leads to cracks in the feet.
3. Overweight: More pressure is exerted on the pad below the heels for those who are overweight. This pressure causes the pad to push sideways and if the skin is dry then this pressure causes cracks around the feet.
4. Uncomfortable sandals: certain shoes and sandals cause the body to exert more pressure on the heels causing it to push sideways and lead to cracks.
5. Other diseases: certain diseases may reduce the natural healing ability of the body to treat cracks in the heels. Some of these diseases are athlete’s foot, eczema, diabetes, excessive dry skin, psoriasis as well as thyroid.
6. Overexposure to water: hard water reduces the natural oil production of the skin by making it more dry and rough. Prolonged exposure to hard water can cause dryness and heels to cracks.
Simple everyday home remedies for cracked heels:
1. Keep your feet clean and free from dirt as much as possible.
2. Relax your feet by alternating between hot and cold water bath.
3. Keep your feet moisturized
4. Exfoliate your feet as much as possible.
5. Avoid doing any physical activity barefoot. Wear a pair of socks as often as possible.
6. Avoid spending long time in damp area barefoot. While doing household chores like washing clothes or mopping make sure your feet are dry. One of the home remedies for cracked heels is to try and avoid the soapy water from coming in contact with your feet. Detergents are used as cleaning agents as they can break down oil, if it comes in contact with your feet then it will only worsen the cracks by increasing dryness.
7. After taking your bath apply a nice moisturizer around your heels.

Hi. Please avoid taking oily, spicy food. You will relatively feel better. Take lots of water, vegetables, fruits, food rich in fibres. Taking these regularly will help in relieving constipation.

We all are well aware of an simple saying that height stops growing after 25, because it is considered that after 25 the normal production of growth hormone is stopped permanently.
But it is not very true, the growth hormone can even be stimulated after 25 yrs of age.
I would like to share some of my experience with you people here
1. Nutrition is very important - protein, calcium, mineral - everything is very essential for height growth
2. Stretch exercise should be done at least 2 times per day for at least 3 months

Please follow below mentioned tips for improving your health. 1) take food twice in a day only. 2) take liquid diet only. 3) avoid oily and spicy food intake. 4) drink only 100 ml of lukewarm water during meals. 5) don't drink water before one hour of meals and don't drink water after meals for one hour. 6) take jinger juice 10 ml and jaggery 10 gm before and after meals and early in the morning on empty stomach with 30 ml of lukewarm water. And take aloe vera juice 30 ml with 30 ml of lukewarm water at night before sleep. Thanks.

Tip 1-Right Nutrition

  • Right nutrition is an essential requirement for back pain. Nutrition is provided by sufficient nutrient which gives strengthen to our musculoskeletal system of the body. Nutrient which provides sufficient nutrition are:-


Tip 2. Regular Exercise for Back

  • Extra weight means extra stress on your body , which lead to back pain .for those that carry weight in the belly region, the strain on the back only increases. Find an eating plan that works for you, and get your BMI under control. As we can see today,most of our activities are sedentary which does not strengthen up our back muscles rather they weaken them. It is even more necessary to exercise regularly. But make sure to try it with the guidance of an expert. (Either a PT or Yoga therapist.
  • Regular exercise builds up the strength of our musculature, mobilises and lubricates our joints and improves the flexibility the most required.
  • Not just that even the nourishment to our musculoskeletal system improves with an improved blood circulation.
  • The different activities which help our spine and back to strengthen can be - yogic asanas, sun-salutations (for those who can), swimming, cycling and walking.

Tip 3. Right Posture

  • As all of us know that we spend lots of time through the day sitting for most of the activities.so it is apparent that your back takes the burden of sitting most of the time. If a right posture is maintained, it can prevent of our back problems.
  • Make sure to let your spine take its natural curvature while sitting. you need to keep in mind proper spine alignment not just when watching TV or sitting at your desk at work. The position you sleep in can go in a wrong way keeping back pain occur. the best position is on your side in a relaxed fetal position with your knee bent .place a pillow between your legs, so that as you sleep, the top leg does not slide forward, causing a twist in your lower back .consider also using a small pillow under your neck, so that your spine stay in alignment as much as possible.
  • Remember to focus on your small daily movements, such as how you pick up objects (always bend at the knees)how you carry your purse or backpack(make sure it's not too heavy and wear your backpack on both shoulders), invest in a new mattress or/and pillow that are firm and prevent your spine to curve, and add some gentle stretching to your morning routine

Dear, These are the causes of acne: • excessive sebum production (sebum is oily secretion from the gland). • Due to hormonal imbalance. These are the methods & instructions to avoid acne: • To control the sebum secretion you should maintain your hormonal level. Because imbalance in hormone level causes excessive sebum production and causes acne. So do not take stress and do exercise daily such as running, jogging and long breathing exercises. • Use oil free face wash and drink 7 -8 glass of water daily. • Do not touch your pimple because your finger transfer bacteria to it and make it worse. If you touch it then clean your face with water. * Take cucumber and papaya pulp. Mix it well and add 1 tablespoon Turmeric. Make a paste and apply it on face and leave it for 15 minutes. • Use a face pack of fuller's earth (multani mitti) with rose water one time in a day for seven days. It removes toxins from skin. * Take 2 teaspoon of RAKTASHODAK SYRUP of BAIDYANATH company once a day. • Steam your face to open the pores, which in turn clear the skin. Steam your face for a couple of minutes. • use a mild moisturiser for your skin.
