Hi, raising the hemoglobin from 7.5 g/100ml to normal is a bit difficult. Many a time packed cells may have to be given, otherwise start on hematinics daily and those to be taken for over 8 plus months. Plus he should increase the intake of green leafy vegetables daily.

Lybrate-user, to gain weight in healthy way, consume balanced diet with more protein rich foods to build muscles. Since your weight is less, the amount of protein you have to take is 1 to 1.25 gm protein / kg of ideal weight. You have to take supplements my dear, you can not get all the nutrients from food now. Soil has become very poor and missing in many nutrients. You can include sprouts, full cream milk & milk products, cheese, paneer frequently, peanut butter etc in your diet. For customised diet plan many things should be considered including dealing with the deficiencies with food supplements - as diet is missing so many important nutrients.

for deducing weight Take diet for hypothyroidism:- high-carbohydrate foods such as potatoes, rice, pasta and bread, Nutrient-rich foods that improve your health may also benefit your thyroid gland, antioxidant-rich fruits and vegetables more plenty of water: Blueberries, tomatoes, bell peppers, and other foods rich in antioxidants can improve overall health and benefit the thyroid gland. Eating foods high in B vitamins, like whole grains, may also help. flax oil, Selenium: Tiny amounts of selenium are needed for enzymes that make thyroid hormones to work properly. Eating selenium-rich foods, such as sunflower seeds or Brazil nuts, can be beneficial. Tyrosine: This amino acid is used by the thyroid gland to produce T3 and T4. Taking a supplement may help, Avoid few foods in hypothroidism i.e. caffeine products tea,coffee, tabcco, alcohol / wine , kale, broccoli, spinach, mustard green, cabbage, turnip, millet, cassava, linseeds, pine nuts, soy products as soy milk, tofu, soybeans, soy souce, also avoid stress. Take Some Relax during work. Proper follow up you can feel better and reduce weight also.

I have many pimples on my face n you want to get rid of it. I don't use any chemical creams n all stuff on my face but then to there are many small pimples mostly on forehead.

Hye. It's just a restricted diet which usually you follow to crash your weight temporarily. The loss is muscle loss and water loss so the moment you discontinue you will gain all the weight and more. Also long term following of this diet will cause malnourishment.

Mr. lybrate-user, To control blood glucose following things should be observed: 1) Take appropriate medications, as prescribed regularly without missing a single dose, 2) Take a restricted diet that gives exact calories based on ideal body weight, extent of daily exercise and blood glucose levels. 3) Try and maintain near normal weight (60 kgs), by regular exercise and diet, 4) Avoid sweets, deep fried foods, junk foods, pastries, other bakery items, 5) Consume more of green leafy vegetables, salads and permitted fruits (100 g a day) 6) Take small meals 4 to 5 times a day, total intake has to be within the recommended quantity. Ideally FBS should be closer to 100 mg, PP 150 to 160 mg & HbA1c%<6.8, for achieving very good control. Thanks.

Hi, I am 23 years old. Now a days am facing more hair fall issue. Since am using same hair oil and hair shampoo from long time. I do not know why its happening pls suggest. And also if any solution also pls do let me know. And also for your information am doing exercises daily, is it good to do exercise with empty food and effective. Or we should take any food. If it's, what is the best to have before doing exercises. What kind of foods will make body more stronger.
