Dear Lybrate user, you might be facing this difficulty due to your jaw joint problem. (TMJ) Consult your dentist immediately to determine the exact cause. There might be some dislocation for which you'll be advised a soft diet for a few days alongwith mouth opening exercises. If it's painful, the dentist might advise some medicines too.

You may need yellow bacterial film called plaque that occurs naturally in your mouth can build up if not removed filling and / or capping. Advance procedures can be done with laser. The type of treatment you have for toothache will depend on the cause of the pain, so your dentist will examine your mouth and may carry out an X-ray to try to identify the problem. •If your toothache is caused by tooth decay, your dentist will remove the decayed area and replace it with a filling. •If your toothache is caused by a loose or broken filling, the filling will be taken out, any decay will be removed and a new filling put in place. •If the pulp inside your tooth is infected, you may need root canal treatment. This procedure involves removing the infected pulp and then inserting a special type of filling to seal the tooth and prevent re-infection. •If your toothache can't be treated using these methods, or if your tooth is impacted (wedged between another tooth and your jaw), it may need to be removed.

Dry mouth can be very difficult to handle at times and it can lead to very nagging problems all through. As per the history it seems she has a tendency towards hyperglycemia already. Taking utmost care is mandatory for such patients. Regarding dry mouth It may be suggested to visit a dentist evry 6 months, keep the oral hygiene proper always. Although the dentist should clinically examine and suggest the needful but as of now you can use Dry Mouth Gel by GC to get away with the discomfort as of now. Hope this serves the purpose as of now but visit a dentist ASAP. Thanks. :-)

Thanks for the Query It's normal phenomena usually upper front teeth comes by the age of 6 to 7 years and some time by 8 years also. But for better visulization I advice you to visit your dentist and tell him to take X ray in that area. X ray will guide us wether permanent teeth are thr or nt and in which condition and roughly how much timee they will take to come out. Thank you Dr.Aman Bhatia
