possibily you are having colitis. If it increases on eating rice I would advice you not to eat it and consult a doctor so that a few tests can be done and medicines prescribed.

Preliminary symptoms of jaundice------------------ 1. It is likely to have a yellow look to the skin and the whites of the eyes------------- 2. Yellow mucous membranes in the mouth and nose.------------ 3. Stools (faeces or poo) can be pale in colour and urine dark yellow in colour.------------------ 4. A physical examination will be carried out to look for signs of swelling of the liver and legs, ankles or feet-------------------- gaining weight is as difficult as losing it, if you are naturally thin. Skinny people complain that they can't put on any weight. If you want to build up weight, don't just eat high-calorie junk foods and rely on unnecessary supplements. Choose foods that are energy-dense and nutrient-dense whenever possible. Following are some tips to follow to increase your weight. You will take some time to gain the weight you need, but be patient.------------------ 1. If you have a rapid metabolism, then you must increase your daily intake of healthy foods (increase your intake of carbohydrates) to compensate for the rate at which you burn energy. Eat six smaller meals a day you should also eat more energy dense foods like healthy oils, dry fruits, seeds, nuts, pulses, etc. Along with some starchy foods like potatoes, cereals, bread, pasta, rice, etc.-------------- 2. Consume more calories than you burn. Choose healthy calorie-dense food to add calories. Drink healthy beverages to add calories. Mangoes are rich in calories and carbohydrates, include them in your diet.------------ 3. Eat healthy food frequently, 5-6 times a day - 3 larger meals and 3 smaller meals alternately. Separate them by at least 3 hours so you can digest each meal fully. Don't go without food for 5-6 hours after having a major meal. For example, if you wish to consume 3000 calories a day, you may eat 3 larger meals of about 650 calories and 3 smaller meals of about 450 calories.------------ 4. Have a balanced diet.--------- 5. Exercise regularly for putting on weight. Some thin people think that exercise is not good for them. This is not true, it keeps the metabolism high. Remember that eating alone is not sufficient. You don't want to gain fat but lean mass, so exercise is important. Resistance training exercises will help to increase your muscle mass, which in turn will increase metabolism. Learn to distinguish between weight gaining exercises and weight loss exercises. Note that if you do not get enough amino acids during exercise, the existing muscle may break down. Amino acids come from protein foods so you should eat such foods after exercise. Keep in mind that excessive exercise without putting back the energy you have used will not help you to put on weight.-------------

Hello. I am 19 years old female suffering from pcos. My doctor gave me diving 10 for 7 days and asked me to wait for 15 days so that my periods will come but they didn't. My pcos was recently discovered and I have no other symptom than missed period for 2 months. Wht could be the possible reason they didbt come even after taking med? Also now he has started me on krimson 35 but I feel very nauseous after taking it and feel like vomiting. Does krimson 35 have any long term side effects? Do women with pcos have no have of pregnancy?

Pcos is not a disease but a body pattern developed because of deranged lifestyle. You are not ovulating that is why you are not having periods. There is no point taking krimson 35 because you will have regular periods till you r on the tabs but once you stop the tab then periods would return back to the same condition. Ideally your treatment is necessary once you get married. Please keep a track on your weight, if weight increases so will the problem be.

Dear lybrate user. I can understand. The duty of your mind is to think and imagine. If you are unable to provide meaningful and creative tasks to your mind, it is quite natural that the mind will wander away. Wandering mind always ventures into negative and obsessive territory. You need to provide creative and meaningful tasks to your mind so as to keep it engaged. Dear Mr. Lybrate-user. As your age is 19 years only I would advise you to join a gym. You also need homeopathic mother tincture fucus ves q, 30 drops in water after lunch. This will act as fat-cutter along with exercise. In order to increase your memory power you should take homeopathic mother tincture ashwagandha q, 60 drops in water after dinner.

After stent, you should be on a good diet and exercise regime. Get your cholesterol checked frequently and echo done regularly. 1. Working overtime can increase your risk of developing cardiovascular problems by about 60%.

Hi, the yellow color of your teeth might be because of stains which can be superficial and deep or even it might be the natural hue of your teeth. If the they stains are superficial they can be removed by a complete scaling procedure. Deeper stains can be removed by bleaching which can also lighten the yellow shade of your teeth to a certain extent.

Hi, please follow these tips to stop snoring: - reduce your weight if you are obese. - perform pranayama (breathing exercises) everyday. - quit smoking which irritates the mucosal layer of the nose and throat and causes blockage and results in snoring. - quit alcohol and sedatives which relax the throat muscles and results in snoring. - sleep on sides instead on back. - elevate the head by using a thick pillow which eases the breathing. - clear the nose before going to bed. - establish regular sleep pattern. - keep the bedroom air moist by using humidifier; as dry air irritates the mucosal membrane in the nose and throat. - perform throat exercises like repeating the vowels a, e, i, o, you loudly for 2-3 mins few times a day or keeping the tongue behind the teeth and moving it backwards - 3-4 times a day. - anti snoring appliances can also be used.
