Homoeopathic medicine FOLLICLEAN ( WELLMAN) it contain 2 bottles...INTERNAL and EXTERNAL INTERNAL FOLLICLEAN DROPS.....drink 15 drops in 20 ml fresh water 3 times daily EXTERNAL FOLLICLEAN DROPS....Apply 15-20 drops in any oil preferably HAIR GROWTH OIL ( WILMAR SCHWABE INDIA) on roots of hairs with your fingers. No brisssssk massaging required.Leave overnight nd wash next day with MONTANA SHAMPOO ( SBL) 1.Wash hair sparingly and use a good-quality shampoo. Washing hair too often can leave hair dried out, leached of its natural oils, and may damage your hair. Aim to shampoo your hair at most every other day or even only twice a week. 2. Try shampoos that do not contain sulfates or parabens. Sulfates are the chemicals that make shampoos lather up. Parabens are preservatives that cause irritation and eye problems after prolonged use. Both of these chemicals aren't healthy for you or the environment so try to use shampoos with natural cleansers 3.. Use conditioner that matches your hair type, length, and treatment damage. A good rule of thumb is to condition every time you shampoo your hair, although very processed or dyed hair probably needs a little more love than natural hair 4. Be careful about using hair care products with too much protein. Too much protein can leave your hair feeling desiccated and brittle. While protein is the building block of healthy hair, use conditioners that come with balanced ingredients. 5. Rinse your hair with vinegar before shampooing, twice a year. Doing this helps to make your hair look shinier and cleaner; plus, it treats dandruff. Use 1 part vinegar (preferably organic apple cider vinegar) to 3 parts warm water, then rinse and wash your hair as normal. 6. Moisturize your hair. Use five oils: almond, castor, olive, coconut and lavender oils. Mix together equal proportions of each. Alternately, use egg oil. Apply to the hair and leave in for four hours prior to showering out. Repeat twice a week. 7. Eat healthily. Give your hair the right amount of vitamins. Since hair is made of proteins, eat a balanced diet rich in lean protein, whole grains, fruits and vegetables. A healthy diet will ensure

Does smoking effects our skin color and face or it raises in breathing problem? Please advise.

Reparenting Technique, BA, BEd
Psychologist, Bangalore
Smoking does both. It affects your skin causing wrinkles and skin discoloration. Smoking is a habit that uses the respiratory system to ingest the substance, theregore the lungs are immediately affected and therefore the breathing. Also the carbon monoxide i cigarette smoke reduces he hemoglobin in the blood which reduces the oxygen carrying capacity and you can get easily breathless with minor effort. The smoke has more than 4000 substances and most of them are very harmful. It is a very bad habit, period.

I am getting white spots in my body. Could you please provide what medicine I need to take.

BHMS
Homeopath, Faridabad
Hello. White patches/ dots on your skin are a common type of depigmented skin lesion associated with an infection, allergy, or autoimmune disorder. One common cause of white spots, or hypopigmentation, is a fungal infection of the skin known as tinea versicolor (associated with other symptoms, such as itching or dryness on or around the white patches). This fungal infection is not contagious and can be treated easily with over-the-counter medications. The white spots and patches can also be because of deficiency of vitamin d (for which 15-20 minutes of exposure to early morning sunlight without sunscreen is needed, 3-4 times a week). Or else they could be idiopathic (i. E, without any cause). Vitiligo is an autoimmune disorder which can be treated with homoeopathic medicines, but chances of relapses are also there. Please tell me other symptoms like about sensation on the area, since how long do you have this patch, any family history of white patch, etc. Meantime, you can start with homoeopathic medicines - cina 1m/ one dose daily at night and ars. Sulph. Flavum. 200/ twice daily for 20 days (it is safe). Apply a good brand's sunscreen with spf 40 on the skin (specially on the white patches/ spots) 20-30 minutes before going out under the sunscreen and reapply it after 3-4 hrs. Again.

Hi lybrate-user as per height and weight your BMI (body mass index) is 22.5. It means that you are healthy now. Reacquired BMI for females is 18.5 to 24.9 for healthy category. You can gain upto 67 kg. But I think so no needs to do anything. For a healthy skin take min 2 lt of water/day will purify your skin, avoid junk foods, cut down your salt, take proper diet. And I would recommend you 2 face packs for instant fairness. 1. Take 2 tablespoons of sandalwood powder and make a paste by adding rosewater in it. Apply it on your face, leave it for 10 to 15 minutes, and then, rinse with cold water. Then apply a skin moisturiser. OR Take 2 tablespoons of gram flour. Add 1 tablespoon of lemon juice and 1 tablespoon of milk in it. Apply it on your skin and let it. After 15-20 minutes wash of with lukewarm water. If you wants to know more contact me again.

Water also plays imp. Role in hair fall. Try to use mineral water for head bath, take at least once for 2-3 days, you take hair wash. Always use lukewarm water for head bath. Dont go for very hot water. Don't comb when your hair is wet, better avoid hair dryer, colouring. T/ts. Apart of those precautions, massage lukewarm oil (if its herbal-good) min. 1-2 hrs b4 head bath. While choosing hair oil, see the ingredients. Like amla, hibiscus, bhringaraja, wiesbaden, arnica etc. R good.(if you cant make it. Even shampoo also should b mild, gentle, better herbal. Take diet with proteins more. Either in non. Veg r veg. Avoid dieting, sleepless n8s, stress. Inspite of all above, still problem continues, consult doctor.

I would advice that you should use a lightening agent like kojic acid and vitamin c combination over the scars at bedtime. This is a simple, harmless lightening agent which can be used for as long the blackish pigmentation is there.

How can we regain our elasticity on face. Which diet I have to follow to regain elasticity? Please help me.

DHMS (Diploma in Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery)
Homeopath, Ludhiana
1. Avoid the sun and/or use a good sunscreen. Sun damage is well-known to wreak havoc upon the best of skin. All sun worshippers that do not take heed pay the price with lax, leathery skin before their time ~ not to mention the risk of many dangerous skin cancers. The sun screen should be o Broad-spectrum protection (protects against UVA and UVB rays). o Sun Protection Factor (SPF) 30 or greater. o Water resistance o Preferably Homoeopathic SUNCARE SUNSCREEN ( BAKSON). 2. Drink plenty of water. Water is what nourishes our cells?it is present in EVERY cell in our bodies. But, many people do not drink enough of this elixir! And, without proper hydration, skin will appear dull and listless ~ lacking the elasticity that gives us our youthful appearance. What is the proper amount of water to drink per day? This is a controversial subject, but I recommend 9 cups for women and 12.5 cups for men. 3. Do not bathe in hot water since this has a harmful effect on the skin integrity, damaging it and drying it out. 4. Use a good moisturizer! Preferably Homoeopathic ROSE MOISTURISER ( SBL) 5. Partaking in regular exercise can improve skin elasticity. It is recommended to have 30 minutes of aerobic exercise to improve circulation for the skin. This gives the benefit of feeding the skin and removing any waste products more effectively. Hence, you will have a more youthful skin. 6. Proteins make up the matrix of our cells and thus are very important for good collagen and elasticity. Eat these top proteins for good elasticity: almonds, peanut butter, salmon, sardines and eggs. 7. One remarkable finding (from recent studies) found by dermatologists is evidence that lutein, an antioxidant found in egg yolks, spinach, and other leafy greens may improve skin elasticity by almost 20%. Lutein is also found in topical face products. 8. Fish oil capsules taken on a daily basis can do much for skin elasticity. This is very important if you are on a diet or have already lost a lot of weight?fish oil is one of your best weapons to combat laxity and looseness of the skin. But, be sure to follow the dosage directions on the label (and consult a physician before taking anything) since the wrong dose may be harmful or dangerous in bleeding disorders (or other medical conditions). 9. Also, it?s important to eat plenty of fruits and vegetables for good skin elasticity. And, of these ~ the best ones to eat are as follows: ? Red Peppers ? Oranges ? Grapefruits ? Strawberries ? Broccoli ? Carrots ? Mango ? Apricots ? Sweet Potato ? Avocados So, if you have lost elasticity due to poor habits or weight loss ~ the above list should give you a guide on how you may improve your skin starting TODAY. Or, if you are needing a preventative treatment against aging?these habits can take you down the road to a much happier, youthful skin! We don?t have to give in to mother nature, there are always variables we can manipulate to fight back against what our mothers and grandmothers had to endure ~ loose, sagging skin.
