I am 63 years old male. I have been diagnosed for Mild Coronary Artery Disease & Gastro Oesophagus Reflux Disease in 2013. I was prescribed with Clopitorva 10 mg and pantoprazole 40 mg one each per day for lifetime. However, I didn't take Clopitorva 10 mg as I felt that my heart is in good condition as I workout on treadmill and burn 100 calories a day and took only pantoprazole 40 mg on SOS basis. I also do not feel uneasy or breathless or any kind of pain whenever I climb stairs or walk a long distance. I even once ascended and descended 1200 stairs at a stretch with ease. Please advise.

Hello dear Lybrate user, hi Warm welcome to Lybrate.com I have evaluated your query thoroughly. The need of blood thinner at present depends upon the fresh angiography report. Although without that as per your activity level and my clinical experience, I do not think you require any of the medicines at present. And may god bless you with the same health ahead sir. Hope this clears your query. Wishing you fine recovery. Welcome for any further assistance at my private URL https://www.Lybrate.com/gandhinagar/doctor/dr-bhagyesh-patel-general-surgeon Regards take care.

Mr. lybrate-user, Thanks for the query High blood pressure and diabetes both diseases can be well controlled with appropriate treatment, dietary control and regular exercise. All three aspects are equally important. Stopping antihypertensive medication is bound to increase the blood pressure. Once the treatment is begun, at least a few days are needed for the particular drug to show its effect consistently. Same is the case with blood glucose or diabetes. Thanks.

Hello lybrate user, - though you are taking right home remedy, the way of taking is wrong. - garlic is a good antihyperlipidemic medicine but it shld not be taken in empty stomach directly. - of course that might be causing burning foot. - so take lashunadi vati instead of direct garlic - avoid taking oily and heavy foods like cheese paneer - you need some brisk walk and adopt some yogasanas which really help you to reduce the cholesterol levels. Thank you.

First get your vital parameters of the body checked from a nearby doctor and revert with findings and also get an xray chest to rule out any lung pathology.

There are no medicines without side effects. If your bp, sugar and lipids are under control continue with these medicines. Get your investigtions periodically to know about the control and side effects.

Mr. lybrate-user, Thanks for the query. Now a days, we hardly give any treatment if TGL level is high. Only if level crosses 500 mg, treatment is advocated. Exercise, diet control and weight reduction should be helpful. Thanks.

Avoid oily and junk food, daily morning walk for 30 minutes. Drink amla and aloevera juice 1spoon each with water, and it will be alright completely after one month.
