Dear lybrate-user Ideally. Let us wait for the MRI. The echo report could indicate a condition by birth. So it could be a weakness, not disease. Minor changes in diet and exercise will help. Mentally stay positive. Regards.

Hello lybrate-user eif means echogenic intracardiac focus it is a small bright spot seen in baby's heart on usg. It represents deposition of calcium in cardiac muscles. It is found 3-4%normal pregnancies. It has no impact on heart functions. Often resolves by 3rd trimester. Sometimes there is an association between eif and chromosomal abnormality as downs syndrome. If baby has normal chromosome there would be no associated problem to be concerned so sometimes doctor may suggest you for an amniocentesis that is done at15-20 weeks of pregnancy. If an isolated eif, chances are strongly in favour of normal pregnancy outcome. So don't worry be positive. Best of luck.

Dear Lybrateuser, - You have to reduce your weight so that the BP also will come down a few points - restrict your salt & sugar intake, avoid fried, processed & junk food, foods containing saturated & trans fats, restrict intake of tea, coffee to 1-2 cups - have more of fibrous foods, fruits, vegetables, whole grains, legumes, sprouts, a handful of nuts - use healthy fats like in olive, canola oil, walnuts, avocados & fish - do regular exercise like walking for 30 min, also do yoga, deep breathing & meditation for 10-15 min in the morning - take BP regularly as advised by your doctor - consult your cardiologist as the dose of the drug or the drug may be required to be changed.

No not necessarily it is a heart disease. It could be due to common cold in the ribs/due to abdominal gas. You should do a chest x-ray to rule out the reasons for the chest pain.

Full body pain. Diabetics, cholesterol, weak eyesight, chickengunia two years ago. Age 60 years recommend home medicine.

MBBS, DGO (cal)
General Physician,
I don't know any home medicine. But remedy what you can use is reduce your body weight, do regular physical exercise with 45 mins of aerobics / brisk walking, dietary management and monitor diabetes control. Lipid insatiability can be accepted in diabetes. Monitoring for control of diabetes complications, including eye complications like diabetic cataract or retinopathy, are also very much important. Medicine part shall be taken care by your diabetologist. I believe your body pain shall go with exercise gradually.

Dear Lybrate User, Cholesterol is naturally produced inside the body of every living animal. Human beings are no exception to that. But when we take mutton, chicken, yellow part of a boiled egg, ghee, butter, fried foods etc we intake cholesterol from external source. This extra cholesterol from external sources increase the total cholesterol content of human body. Your father should always keep his cholesterol level within normal limits as high cholesterol serves as a precursor to various cardiac diseases. He should avoid the aforesaid food & walk at least 1 hour in a day without any interval. Also he can take Homoeopathic Mother Tincture FUCUS VESICULOSUS Q, 30 drops, thrice daily, after meals, in a cup of water.
