Sleep plays a vital role in good health and well-being throughout your life. Getting enough quality sleep at the right times can help protect your mental health, physical health, quality of life, and safety. In children and teens, sleep also helps support growth and development. The damage from sleep deficiency can occur in an instant (such as a car crash), or it can harm you over time. For example, ongoing sleep deficiency can raise your risk for some chronic health problems. It also can affect how well you think, react, work, learn, and get along with others. Management: here are five tips everyone can use to help improve the quality of their sleep: keep your bedroom cool and dark put away/turn off all electronic devices while preparing for bedtime stick to a regular bedtime and wake time every day, even on weekends stop drinking caffeine by the early afternoon and avoid large late-night meals skip the late-afternoon nap, as it can make it harder to sleep at bedtime avoid taking unnecessary stress/ tension. Do regular exercise. Go for a brisk walk in the morning. Medication: take schwabe's bacopa monierri 1x/ thrice daily and kali phos./ once daily at night for 1month.

No, you will not have a problem of the normal kind but you will have a vacillating nature to your sexual drive. During your manic phase you can have a heightened need and desire, and during the depressed phase, you can have a diminished need. Over a period of time, due to the effects of the medication, you could have a loss of sexual need. However, if you do exercise and keep yourself fit you could delay that effect and possibly can be weaned off of the medication if you had an episode-free three years. If you are concerned about it now, do visit a doctor for an examination for sexual functions.

Hello lybrate users- its due to excessive vata-pitta prakopa happened due to your late night schedule. I always suggest my patient not to wake up late at night. It causes insomnia, loss of mental alertness, lathargyness, and dementia up to some extent. Try this ayurvedic routine to recover safely from your symptoms- a) massage with sheer bala oil daily in the morning before bath. B) massage your foot soles with plain cows ghee daily for 1o minutes before going to bed. C) use mahabhrngraj hair oil for head massage daily. D) take a glass of milk with one sweet at bed time. E) avoid day sleeping as you might feel drowsy in the morning due to lack of sleep. You will surely see the change from first week of treatment.

Causes of headaches may include fatigue, sleep deprivation, stress, the effects of medications, the effects of recreational drugs, viral infections, common colds, head injury, rapid ingestion of a very cold food or beverages, and dental or sinus issues. This can trigger your headache: foods : spices, wine , chocolate, citrus •food additives •sleep : both too much and too little •stress : mainly offset Home remedies: •Stay Hydrated •Mix equal parts of ginger juice and lemon juice. Consume it once or twice a day. •Menthol and menthone are the primary components of mint which are very effective in alleviating headaches. •Peppermint contains menthol that helps open up clogged blood vessels that cause headaches. It also has calming and soothing effects. •Basil works as a muscle relaxant, making it a helpful treatment for mild headaches caused by tense muscles. Plus, it has calming and analgesic effects.•Simply smelling the soothing scent of lavender essential oil can be of great help in relieving tension headaches. Research suggests that it can also help improve migraine symptoms. •The cold from ice helps reduce inflammation that contributes to headaches. Plus, it has a numbing effect on the pain. •Simply massage your forehead and temples with a few drops of rosemary oil mixed in a tablespoon of carrier oil. •Crush a few cloves gently and put them in a sachet or a clean handkerchief. Dear Lybrateuser, - She should take dietary precaution - avoid spicy, fried, sour & processed food, also restrict intake of tea, coffee to 1-2 cups per day - do not skip meals, have meals on time, chew your food well, have 4-5 small meals rather than three large meals, do not lye down for about an hour after meals, have dinner 2-3 hrs before bedtime - take tablet Pan 40, 1 tablet half an. Hour before breakfast - do regular exercise like walking for 15-20 min, also do yoga & deep breathing for 5-10 min daily morning to keep body fit.

You were diagnosed celiac disease? idi you do any biopsy or anti ttg test? Please upload the results. The only treatment of celiac disease is to avoid all forms of gluten. So you have to take an absolutely gluten free diet. Switch to rice based products. Remeber cakes, pastry, biscuits, pasta roti all have wheat and all have gluten, there are gluten free breads etc available in some places

Hello Sam, Walking under sunlight without any protection to the eyes is bound to make your eyes red. Direct sun light harms your eyes in turn making them red. You need to use dark tinted sun glasses in order to protect your eyes from direct sun light. The sun glasses will even protect your eyes and decrease the headache also.

Good to know that her disease is under control, but thalidomide is same as thalix, diarrhoea is not side effect of this medicine. Rather constipation is. If your mother is alright without medicines, diarrhoea can be due to other gastric reason, may be infection, get her treated accordingly.

If you have persistent pain like you described you will have to take an ecg to rule out angina or myocardial infarction. If ecg is normal we can rest assured that it's other causes for the pain.

It is safe BUT too much of everything is bad. 1. Don't always keep thinking of sex. If such thoughts come, try to divert your attention to something else like music/talking to someone in person or over phone, doing some other work, reading something like newspaper etc. 2. Do meditation 3. Do regular physical exercise 4. Do kegel exercises for men 5. Eat a lot of fruits and salads you will get good results.

Dear lybrate user, the size of penis depends on four factors:- 1) height of the person:- every organ of a taller person posses greater dimension than those of a shorter person. 2) testosterone hormone:- less secretion of this hormone leads to underdevelopment of sexual organs 3) sexual diseases:- patients suffering from erectile dysfunction often complaints of short penis. 4) fatty tummy:- with every increase of 6 kg in weight, the waistline is increased up to 2cm. This fatty layer of abdomen conceals 2cm of the length of penis by surrounding it. The minimum size of an erected penis required for intercourse is 3 inches. A penis is composed of three highly vascular muscles. The plan of action behind increasing the size of penis is to increase the amount of blood flow to those vascular muscles of penis. There is no specific medicine to increase the size of penis. To increase the size of your penis you can try the vacuum operated penis developer set available in market. Hi, Home remedies for nightfall: -Individuals suffering from the condition can also opt to drink a glass of fresh bottle gourd juice every day, preferably at night in order to prevent nightfall. -Grind some fenugreek leaves or seeds and extract the juice.Add some water to the juice (one cup to 2 tbsp.). Add a few drops of honey for taste as well. Drink the juice before bed time every day to curb nightfall effectively. -Drinking a glass of warm almond milk at night before going to bed can relax the mind and body, and literally lull you to sleep and is one of the best known home remedies for recurrent wet dreams. Medication: Phosphoric Acid 30/ thrice daily for 4 weeks. For Premature Ejaculation: Take homoeopathic medicine - Schwabe's Damiaplant/ thrice daily for 4 weeks. Management: Regular exercising keeps you fit and healthy, so don't forget to do it. Practice pranayam regularly for half an hour preferably in a garden early in the morning.
