Dandruff is a chronic condition and it takes time to get treated. It can only be controlled by proper hair care. Usually ketoconazole shampoos under a medical prescription will help. According to ayurved- one should avoid sweets and high carb meals.

Hello hope you are fine the male pattern baldness is becoming very common nowadays, that too with early onset. The only permanent and safe solution which gives tremendous psychological benefits by changing your looks is hair transplant. The state of art micro follicular hair transplant gives excellent results with permanent naturally growing hairs practically without any scar and without any side effects. In one stage we can put as many as 4000 to 7000 hair grafts (follicular units) aiming good density for the area covered (megasession and gigasession covering maximum area with excellent density is the main distinguishing feature at olmec). For your information I want to tell that one graft is the hair unit in which number of hairs may be 1 to 4, thus the total number of hairs in single stage (gigasession) varies from 10000 to 15000. If the area is large then you may need more than one session. Cost: fut- cost is 30 rupees (0.5 usd) per graft. The highest cost in package for fut gigasession (>4000 grafts)? rs. 1, 25000 ($ 2100 usd). Fue- cost is rs 40 (0.7 usd) per graft. The highest cost in package for fue gigasession (>3000 grafts)? rs. 1, 25000/- ($ 2100 usd). How to calculate: no. Of grafts required = bald area in sq cm x 60 grafts e. G. If bald area is 50 sq cm then grafts required is 50 x 60 = 3000 grafts. Cost can be calculated as total number of grafts multiplied by rs. 30 (usd 0.5) for fut and rs. 40 (usd 0.7) for fue. After hair transplant, you can shampoo the head on 3rd day. The hairs will start growing in a natural way in next 21/2 months to 3 months. The transplanted hairs will grow 100 % in natural way and will require cutting and shaving. Over the period, the growth increases dramatically, giving you a changed look which truly brings a positive change in your life with immense psychological benefit. Please send close up pics of your head (front, sides and back views) for detailed evaluation and planning for scientific details and results,

She is 23 year old and she had stretch marks in hips and legs. how to get rid from it.

MBBS, Diploma in Trichology - Cosmetology, Diploma in Aesthetic Medicine, Cosmetic Dermatology
Dermatologist, Mumbai
Hi the best thing for stretch marks is to undergo laser treatment at you cosmetic dermatologist. There are some home remedies that you can try ,these are extremely slow acting and you have to be diligent to get results use Castor Oil Castor oil, which is used in the treatment of a number of skin problems such as wrinkles, age spots, moles, dark spots, fine lines and pimples, can also be used to get rid of stretch marks. Apply some castor oil to the stretch marks and gently massage the area in circular motions for 5 to 10 minutes. Wrap the area with a thin, cotton cloth. Using a hot water bottle or a heating pad, apply some heat to the affected area for at least a half an hour. Repeat this process daily for a minimum of one month to notice positive results.

Hi I'm a male I want to look very fair and have beautiful skin I want my face, hands, legs and body skin to look fair and glowing, clear and beautiful wat should I use please suggest. Me please help.

DHMS (Diploma in Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery)
Homeopath, Ludhiana
Hi I'm a male I want to look very fair and have beautiful skin I want my face, hands, legs and body skin to look fair...
Everyone has a favourite face cream or treatment, but beautiful skin starts with nourishment from within. Older cells are constantly shed and replaced by younger ones and a steady supply of micronutrients is essential to support this rapid growth. Eat the correct balance of foods and you'll feed your skin the vital nutrients it needs to help it stay soft, supple and blemish-free. Eat your five-a-day Fruit and vegetables contain powerful antioxidants that help to protect skin from the cellular damage caused by free radicals. Free radicals are caused by smoking, pollution and sunlight and can cause wrinkling and age spots. Eat a rainbow of colourful fruit and vegetables and aim for at least five portions a day. Betacarotene, found in pumpkin, carrots and sweet potatoes, and lutein, found in kale, papaya and spinach are potent antioxidants, important for normal skin cell development and healthy skin tone. Vitamin C Vitamin C is also a super antioxidant. It is needed for a strong immune system, radiant skin and helps blemishes heal properly. The best sources are blackcurrants, blueberries, broccoli, guava, kiwi fruits, oranges, papaya, strawberries and sweet potatoes. They all help to produce collagen that strengthens the capillaries that supply the skin. Cut out crash diets Repeatedly losing and regaining weight can take its toll on your skin, causing sagging, wrinkles and stretch marks. Crash diets are often short in essential vitamins too. Over long periods of time this type of dieting will reflect on your skin. Stock up on selenium Selenium is a powerful antioxidant. It works alongside other antioxidants such as vitamins E and C and is essential for the immune system. Studies suggest that a selenium-rich diet can help to protect against skin cancer, sun damage and age spots. One way to boost your intake is to eat Brazil nuts. Just four nuts will provide the recommended daily amount (RDA). Mix Brazil nuts with other seeds rich in vitamin E as a snack or salad sprinkle. Other good sources are fish, shellfish, eggs, wheatgerm, tomatoes and broccoli. Vitamin E Vitamin E protects skin from oxidative (cell) damage and supports healthy skin growth. Foods high in vitamin E include almonds, avocado, hazelnuts, pine nuts and sunflower and corn oils. Drink up Skin needs moisture to stay flexible. Even mild dehydration will cause your skin to look dry, tired and slightly grey. Drink six to eight glasses of water a day - all fluids count towards your daily allowance, but water is the best. If you work in an office, keep a large bottle of water on your desk to remind you to drink. Herbal, caffeine-free teas are good too. Try to avoid smoking and excessive alcohol consumption, both can age the skin. Don't be afraid of fat Monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fats - the types found in avocados, fish, nuts and seeds - provide essential fatty acids which act as a natural moisturiser for your skin, keeping it supple. These fats also come packaged with a healthy dose of vitamin E (a vitamin many of us lack), which will help protect against free radical damage. Eat more phyto-estrogens Phyto-estrogens are natural chemicals found in plant foods (phyto meaning plant). They have a similar structure to the female sex hormone oestrogen and have been found to help keep our natural hormones in balance. There are different types, some are found in soya bean products (isoflavones), whereas others are found in the fibre of wholegrains, fruit, vegetables and flax seeds (lignans). Include phyto-estrogen rich soya, wholegrains, fruits and vegetables as part of a balanced diet. Opt for omega-3 Make sure you get enough omega-3 and omega-6 fats. These are essential fatty acids which mean they cannot be made in the body and must be obtained through the diet. You will find omega-3s in oily fish and plant sources such as flaxseed oil, linseeds, walnut and rapeseed oil. Omega-3 fats encourage the body to produce anti-inflammatory compounds, which can help skin, particularly inflammatory skin conditions such as eczema and psorasis. Go for low-GI carbs Eat plenty of beans, pulses, porridge and other slow-releasing carbohydrates. These release sugar into the blood stream gradually, providing you with a steady supply of energy and leaving you feeling satisfied for longer and therefore less likely to snack. Avoid high GI carbohydrates like biscuits and sugary drinks, as they lead to production of insulin, which may damage collagen and accelerate wrinkles. Don't forget zinc Zinc is involved in the normal functioning of the sebaceous glands in the skin (which produce oil) and helps to repair skin damage and keep skin soft and supple. Zinc-rich foods include fish, lean red meat, wholegrains, poultry, nuts, seeds and shellfish. HOMOEOPATHIC TREATMENT AUCARE COMPLEXION DROPS ( WOLFE DIETRI) Drink 20 drops in 20 ml fresh water 3 times daily. WHITENING CREAM ( BIOVALLEY)Apply in circular fashion in morning nd at night WHITENING SOAP ( BIOVALLEY ) Wassh face with this face wash before applying whitening cream SUNCARE CREAM ( BAKSON ) Apply 30 minutes before going outsside nd again reapply after 3-4 hrss after washing with whitening soap
