Dear doctor. I am govt employee, and here my problem is my ankle twists regularly it hurts very much but I did not observe any swelling over there is there any chances of minor fractures or any reasons what may happen and after twist it takes half an hour to became normal to walk.

Kindly show me a photograph & digital X RAYS of affected part. Rule out diabetes & vit.D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. SPRING BEDS, FOLDING BEDS OR THICK MATRESS ARE HARMFUL Use no pillow under the head. DO HOT FOMANTATION. Paracetamol 250mg OD & SOS x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab OD x10. Do neck, back & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. You will need other supportive medicines also. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. Do reply back for detailed treatment plan. Do not ignore .It could be beginning of a serious problem.

Mr. lybrate-user, Thanks for the query. There can be many causes for the swelling of both the legs, like uncontrolled BP, heart related problem, kidney disease, problem with the liver and thyroid condition particularly hypothyroidism. So it is difficult to say what may be the reason. A lot of investigations are needed to identify. Since you have not mentioned any details regarding his present complaints, symptoms and condition he is having as well as treatment being taken. Please give some relevant info, then only I can comment or advise. Thanks.

These white lines are due to stretch Marks due to overweight problem---------------Stretch marks are the off-coloured stripes or streaks formed on the skin as a result of swift stretching of skin or weight changes. They mainly appear on abdomen due to pregnancy or obesity. In dermatology, they are termed as Striae. They are formed due to hormonal changes related to pregnancy, puberty, hormone replacement therapy, etc. Stretch marks can be commonly seen on waist, thighs, lower backs, hips, breasts, arms, and buttocks. Cocoa butter is famous for its anti-wrinkling and anti-aging properties. It helps in enhancing the blood circulation, which reduces stretch marks. Massage the affected area with cocoa butter at least two times a day. Repeat the process for two months and notice the reduced scars. Dear lybrate-user. Thanks for bringing to our notice the history of your wife. The knee pains are very painful and could be relived by Physiotherapy and supportive othotics and walking aids. Still it is not clear about the weight of your wife. But along with pain management, there should be specific strategies dveloped relating to the diet. She should slowly decrease the oily foods, fat consumption and low salt intake should be done. You may also start with natural calcium supplements like milk and panner.

I am a cashier at walmart and when I stand up for more than 30 minutes my right knee starts to hurt. And when it does start to hurt I can barely walk.
