I am a 28 year old female and I am having some problem in the genital part since morning, I am worried if its an infection or a wound inside, its a kind of sensation there as I am not able to pee comfortable and completely in one time, I also noticed a little blood coming with urine. Is yesterday night sex a reason for this problem? Shall I go and see a doctor or wait for 2 days?

Can drinking water with lemon prevent kidney stones? Also, I have been told not to drink city water. What is the best water to drink?

Can drinking water with lemon prevent kidney stones? Also, I have been told not to drink city water. What is the best...
Lemon juice is vitamin C-rich juice and may even dissolve kidney stones, yet studies remains inconclusive on these claims. But, studies does agree that lemon juice may support kidney health but on the other end lemon juice is by no means a cure all for kidney stones. Regardless of this, lemon juice has potent nutritional benefits for the kidneys, possibly providing protection against kidney stone development. But many factors come into play here; however, lemon juice may still be a beneficial addition to the diet of anyone wanting to remove kidneystones----------------For this we may first get to Type of Kidney Stones before we fully investigate the benefits of lemon juice on stone development. The main contributors to kidney stones include:----------------- 1.Cystine — Often the result of a genetic disorder.---------- 2.Struvite — Typically develop after a kidney infection.------------- 3.Uric Acid — Typically result from overconsuming meat, fish, and shellfish — generally rare.---------------- 4.Calcium Oxalate — Buildup of calcium deposits in the kidneys — most common.------ Calcium is a necessary mineral for the bones, teeth, heart, and nervous system. When the body has excess calcium, the kidneys respond by removing it from the blood and excreting it out through the urine. The problem arises when the body also has excess oxalate, a plant compound found in foods like spinach and kale. This combination can form calcium oxalate, the most common form of kidney stones.----------------------Lemon juice contains high levels of citric acid, not to be confused with ascorbic acid (vitamin C). While lemon juice contains both, citric acid seems to contribute to reducing the chances of developing calcium oxalate stones. In clinical studies, citric acid from lemon juice has been shown to reduce urine acidity, thereby reducing kidney stone incidence. Vitamin C may also provide protection, yet it is unclear whether or not this protection is as significant as citric acid. Regardless, the bottom line is that lemon juice offers a complementary approach to supporting kidney function and, depending on the type of stones in question, possibly halting formation before it starts.-------------------------------150-200 Ml of lemon juice offers plenty of citric acid and a variety of other nutrients and antioxidants, all of which may be helpful for supporting kidney health. Always consume lemon juice in its raw, natural form and never purchase bottled lemon juice, as these products are usually pasteurized and stripped of their raw enzymes and vital nutrients----You can mix it with hot water and some raw honey, or make your own lemonade by combining fresh lemon juice with cold water. ------------------------------------------ Formation of kidney stones (nephrolithiasis) is based on --------- 1. Genetic Factors----- 2. Metabolic Factors ---------- involved in stone formation include hypercalciuria (found in 50% of patients and its most common cause is increased intestinal calcium absorption), hypocitraturia (due to renal disease), hyperuricosuria, hyperoxalaturia, cystinuria and infections.----------------- 3. Nutritional and Environmental factors---------- Environmental / nutritional factors include dehydration (e. G. Exercise in hot climates), high salt intake, a diet rich in animal proteins and calcium rich diet when oxalate intake is restricted. ------------------------------------ The impact of water hardness or usage of City water on urinary stone formation remains unclear, despite a weak correlation between water hardness and urinary calcium, magnesium, and citrate excretion but the Ultimate truth is that if you have a tendency to stone formation, drink more water and always remain Hydrated--------------------

Hello sir I want to ask about crestine level increase problem my coligue child have a series problem of this Creatine increase level due to this he is on dialysis Section please suggest any cure or suggestion to recover this problem.

Felllow in Endourology, MCh Urology, MRCS, MS, MBBS
Urologist,
Hi, high creatinine is suggestive of poor kidney function. Since the child is on dialysis, most probably he is having kidney failure. There are two types: acute or chronic. If it is an acute kidney failure, the treating nephrologist will be able to make the kidney function again with his treatment. In case the kidney is permanently damaged, kidney transplantation is the best option.

I think this is an UTI, to get confirmation better have once complete urine examination and if there is any abnormality then you need to go for culture and sensitivity as usually eating spicy foods will not cause UTI.

There always remains a higher risk to develop kidney damage. You must take precautions to not expose the kidney to excess of salt, tobacco & alcohol consumption, harmful over the counter drugs like pain killers & antibiotics. Keep your bp, weight under control. Exercise regularly

What is the remedy for urine infection ( I am 45 year old lady and had a menagetis two years before )

MBBS, DGO (cal)
General Physician,
Remedy is definitely is treatment. But a long-term treatment is necessary. At first causative organism is to be determined, then the drug sensitivity - by urine test from a reliable lab. Then initially at least a 14 days treatment with an effective antibiotic, chosen from the sensitivity list, is to be taken. Then follow-up treatment, with whatever necessary, is to be undertaken, at least for 3 - 6 months. Women are most common victims. Neglecting person shall continue to carry it till death making his/her own life hell. Your experienced consultant can treat you best.

Hello, Few lifestyle changes can help you in controlling and preventing the high blood pressure, even if you're taking blood pressure medication. Eat healthy foods. Consume more fruits, vegetables, whole grains, poultry, fish and low-fat dairy foods. Eat less saturated fat and trans fat. Decrease the salt in your diet. So, avoid eating processed foods, such as canned soups or frozen dinners which contains extra salt in it. Keeping a healthy weight, or losing weight if you're overweight or obese, can help you control your high blood pressure and lower your risk of related health problems. Increase physical activity which can help lowering your blood pressure, manage stress, reduce your risk of several health problems. Get indulged in regular exercising (if your doctor allows you). Limit alcohol. Even if you're healthy, alcohol can raise your blood pressure. If you choose to drink alcohol, do so in moderation. Don't smoke. Tobacco injures blood vessel walls and speeds up the process of hardening of the arteries. Reduce stress as much as possible. Practice healthy coping techniques, such as muscle relaxation, deep breathing or meditation. Getting regular physical activity and plenty of sleep can help, too. Monitor your blood pressure at home. Medication: Take Schwabe’s Essentia Aurea/ thrice daily which is a cardio-tonic which helps in maintaining blood pressure, improves muscle tone of the heart and narrowing of blood vessels. For Kidney-Stone: You may reduce your risk of kidney stones if you: Drink water throughout the day. For people with a history of kidney stones, drink 12-14 glasses of water everyday. If you live in a hot, dry climate or you exercise frequently, you may need to drink even more water to produce enough urine. If your urine is light and clear, you're likely drinking enough water. Eat fewer oxalate-rich foods. If you tend to form calcium oxalate stones, your doctor may recommend restricting foods rich in oxalates. These include rhubarb, beets, okra, spinach, Swiss chard, sweet potatoes, nuts, tea, chocolate and soy products. Choose a diet low in salt and animal protein. Reduce the amount of salt you eat and choose non animal protein sources, such as legumes. Consider using a salt substitute. Continue eating calcium-rich foods, but use caution with calcium supplements. Calcium in food doesn't have an effect on your risk of kidney stones. Continue eating calcium-rich foods unless your doctor advises otherwise. Ask your doctor before taking calcium supplements, as these have been linked to increased risk of kidney stones. You may reduce the risk by taking supplements with meals. Diets low in calcium can increase kidney stone formation in some people. Medication: Take homoeopathic medicine - Berberis Vulgaris Q/ 10 drops in 1/2 cup of water/ thrice daily for 4 weeks.

Dear lybrate-user Thanks for sharing your concern. If may be due to dryness of vaginal passage which causes friction and bleeding or may be a urine infection. Initially for 15 days you could use KY jelly or vaseline to lubricate, thoda may reduce bleeding after sex. If blood is still present then consult Gynae for further test and urine culture.

You should follow these very important and simple things to prevent stone formation & to get sure treatment of kidney stones: 1. First take a lot of fluid daily. The more you drink water and fluid, the less amount of deposit accumulate in kidney. So you have to make your kidneys healthy just only by drinking 2-3 liters (10-12 glasses) of water. 2. Stones are mainly formed of calcium and oxalate. So take very low quantity of milk, cheese, cream and dairy products. 3. Do not take strawberry, plum, spinach and tomatoes. These fruits and vegetables are rich in oxalate. So avoid them to prevent from kidney stones. 3. Stop taking supplementary vitamin d and calcium medication. 4. Avoid animal protein diet- eggs, red meat, fish in diet. 5. Take less amount of salt, pickle and western foods. They have high amount of sodium. So avoid it. 6. Urinary infection are also one of the cause of stone. So take proper antibiotic treatment of urinary infection on time. Even when you feelburning sensation or pain during urination, don't avoid it. Mr. The blood sugar readings show that diabetes is not in control. When in control fasting should be near 100 mg, pp should be 150 to 160 mg and hba1c% <7. Achieving good sugar control is absolutely essential, otherwise various long term complications of diabetes will start appearing much early. This condition affects glucose, fat and protein metabolism. Plus small and large blood vessels, this affects eyes, (retina), kidneys, nerves, lower limbs and heart. So please see that your sugar levels are well controlled.
