You cannot control your anger, it is like electricity, expression of energy that comes in a flash you should look at t he roots of anger, the frustration is always when the other is not behaving or acting as you want them to do. Accept that it is not possible that ways, much similar as you will behave as per your discretion and not as others want you to! you can stop worrying by not focusing on the outcome, which is funnily not in your hands!

Since last three years I feel little depressed because of some reasons. I feel less energetic all day specially in the morning. The time is passing and I m loosing many things of my life. I am suffering from epilepsy since 2007, presently I am taking levipil 1000 twice a day & eptoin 100 (100 mg in morning & 200 mg at night) still sometimes I got sensation of its seizure. How it can be cured doctor?

I'm worried about my wife's cranky behavior as whenever I would be asking her about her activities she gets mad at me. Wondering whether she's cheating on me or not. Cause she has the habit of hiding from me and doing things. Eg: talking to guys late at night when I am sleeping or chatting with guys and deleting the messages from the phone.

If this is what is going on, there is definitely concern about her intentions. But as you can understand we cannot go on mere speculation without specific evidence. If she is merely enjoying talking to her colleagues, even if they are males, there may be an element of innocence in all this too. How do you rate your relationship with her apart from all this? If there is a good rapport and physical intimacy, then she may be seeking some extra attention that may not be forthcoming from her relations with you. It is possible that you may be neglecting her too and this might drive her to other people seeking love and affection. You must look into this aspect and genuinely consider what I am saying to fulfill that lacuna to perhaps change all this drama. If on the other hand there is something of substance, you could find out very discretely from her contacts whether they know anything. You could also snoop on her and listen to conversations to see whether they verge on the infidelity angle, because of her suspicious behavior (normally I would not recommend this but since you are saying that she is behaving like she is cheating on you and talking in this suspicious manner, I am proposing this). You may also both go for marital counseling and get a professional involved to fairly and objectively enquire into your suspicions. Your final option would be to engage a detective agency and use their services to either confirm that she is being unfaithful or that it is all mere paranoia, jealously or suspicion. That way the truth will come out and that will give you options about which way you want to proceed thereafter.

Masturbation is not really bad; it is the addiction to it that is bad. Not even the number of years is a problem but the frequency and compulsiveness to do it is to be considered for its ill-effects. At your age you may feel it difficult and it can become addictive if you have alone time, if you obsess about it, and if you are not into relationships. The problem with addiction to this is that you may go on to prefer masturbation to heterosexual contact, even when you are married. That obviously would be an insult to your wife and will lead to a lot of conflict. Heterosexual contact is very wholesome and the physiology is made exactly for penile and vaginal contact. You will instead enjoy a poor replica of this and not know or care for the difference. The second thing that can happen with addiction is that it will become compulsive and will have no boundaries or limits, since it can be done all by yourself, whenever, wherever, and however too. The big problem a lot of children get into is the guilt around this. A useful way to discharge the energy is to get into contact games, or exercises, or even hobbies to channelize it. Also you should not spend too much time alone, and you need to keep your mind occupied with other interesting things and a lot of socializing. Even if you are not interested in marriage for whatever reasons it will help you to get into a friendship with a girl and enjoy the relationship where there will be a lot of excitement when you fall in love. Right now your hormones may be very active and your physiological apparatus is primed and ready for sexual stimulation. But because of your age and even otherwise it is important to develop good control and not feed into your impulses. Keeping yourself occupied and living a healthy social life are the keys to manage your sexual drives.

12 Ways You Can Love Yourself Now

Are you wondering how to love yourself? I have found that there is only one thing that heals every problem, and that is: truly loving yourself. When people start to love themselves more each day, it's amazing how their lives get better. They feel better. They get the jobs they want. They have the money they need. Their relationships either improve, or the negative ones dissolve and new ones begin.

Loving yourself is a wonderful adventure; it's like learning to fly. Imagine if we all had the power to fly at will? How exciting it would be! Let's begin to love ourselves now.

Here are 12 Commandments to help you learn how to love yourself:

1. Stop All Criticism


Criticism never changes a thing. Refuse to criticize yourself. Accept yourself exactly as you are. Everybody changes. When you criticize yourself, your changes are negative. When you approve of yourself, your changes are positive.

2. Forgive Yourself

Let the past go. You did the best you could at the time with the understanding, awareness, and knowledge that you had. Now you are growing and changing, and you will live life differently.

3. Don't Scare Yourself

Stop terrorizing yourself with your thoughts. It's a dreadful way to live. Find a mental image that gives you pleasure, and immediately switch your scary thought to a pleasure thought.

4. Be Gentle and Kind and Patient

Be gentle with yourself. Be kind to yourself. Be patient with yourself as you learn the new ways of thinking. Treat yourself as you would someone you really loved.

5. Be Kind to Your Mind

Self-hatred is only hating your own thoughts. Don't hate yourself for having the thoughts. Gently change your thoughts.

6. Praise Yourself

Dear, Anger and aggression are emotions. Anger comes when you become irritated. Irritation happens when you don't like something, or when something is repeated. As anger is an emotion, it should be vent out. You should be able to throw anger out instead of controlling it. But more perfect will be, know the frustrating situations and stop being emotional. If practiced properly, you will not get irritated at those circumstances at all. Those techniques are much easier to understand. I suffering from Anxiety and panic attacks and taking medicine of Vilazodone hydrochloride 20 mg tab twice daily and clonazepam 0.5 mg on sos last three month and Dr. Has given me more 45 day to continue same. So 1) during medication I consume one or 2 times beer in month it's good. 2) also take tobbaco regular so I need to stop it. 3) how long I need to take medicine? 4) feel good during taking medicine but I Vilazodone tab for 1 or 2 day my behaviour change like short tempernes ,anxieties. But now not feel panic attacks. But feel hallucination after stop medicine. So kindly suggest how long I need to take treatment. Please suggest and any meditation and any exercise that I can minimise May stress and live happy without medicine Looking forward for your valuable opinion Thanks.

Alcohol dependence is associated with significant physical, mental and social problems. Physically, there can be liver failure, jaundice, vomiting of blood, passing blood in stools, stomach ulcers, damage to nerves of the body, swelling of legs, fluid collection in abdomen, and many more. Mentally, there is irreversible brain damage, worsening of anxiety or depression, triggering of psychosis and mood disorders, dementia, etc. From a social point of view, there may be isolation from neighbors or family, increased abusive behavior to children or spouses, legal problems, accidents, etc. Alcohol tends to worsen anxiety and so does nicotine. If you continue to smoke and drink, your anxiety will not remit. Also there is chance of other problems happening, like fearfulness, paranoia, etc. Your medication should never be taken with alcohol as the sedation may worsen, making you vulnerable to problems caused by over sedation (aspiration, accidental death, etc). Ideally for a proper recovery, you need to take the medication over a long period of time. The exact duration will be determined by your doctor depending on your response, compliance and improvement. Meditation, yoga and exercise are adjuvants to treatment, not replacement. If the condition is serious enough to warrant medication, merely doing these activities will not be sufficient. Lastly, these medications are not like Crocin or painkillers that you take them as and when you have a problem. If you want complete resolution of your symptoms, you need to take them as per the advice of your doctor and for the proper duration. This sort of experimentation is pointless and futile, with no benefit for you.

I am Working in private organisation I am 39 years old. I don't weather I am in depression or not. I am not having interest to do work, I want to sleep or watch TV. No one talk to me. I am to stike into my house nobody disturb me. Not even my husband nor son.This is my problem

You most certainly are depressed. It does not help if people ignore you: this could lead to an escalation of your plight to worsening conditions. Do not neglect this any further. Go and meet a psychiatrist and a counselor immediately, along with your husband. Depression makes you want to withdraw, lie down, sleep, become lethargic, slow down, makes you too lazy to even think etc. You will need to fight this disease. You must become active; stay upright during the daylight time; meet people; never sleep during the day, and wake up by 6 am every day, play some active games, especially contact games, do physical exercises, talk to people and join some social clubs, eat more of proteins and vegetables, attend Yoga classes etc. Watch a lot of sitcoms on TV or comedies and cheer yourself up. Go for excursions in groups, for outings, camps, conferences, and religious conventions. Get a pet dog and spend time training it, exercising it and relating to it. Expose yourself to some sunlight every day, at least 30 minutes but not in the scotching heat. I hope you can get your husband and son to love you and spend time with you. Whatever happens please incorporate these three important adaptations in your life: always be responsible, be respectful, and be functional. If you did these three things lots of things will go well in life. Please pray and have faith in God to alleviate your sufferings.

I have panic disorders with agoraphobia since last 10 years. I am having medicine zosert 50 inderal 40 one one per day. But I don't have any progress in my illness. Sometimes in at bedtime I mostly struck with panic disorder and I feel that I have heart attack and I take emergency tab clonotril.25. Some time I relax soon but some time I feel discomfort one or more hours. So please guide me for my better future. Thanks regard .

Panic attack comes mainly due to underlying anxiety disorder. You should understand your anxiety and it becomes easy for you to manage anxiety and panic attacks. Along with medicines, you need psychotherapy, meditation and breathing. Take care.

Hi, Take homoeopathic medicines - Schwabe’s Bacopa Monierri 1x/ thrice daily and Kali Phos. 6x/ once at night. Do some relaxing exercises: There are few yoga poses which helps in calming your mind and relieves stress, but first learn these under a qualified yoga-teacher as many poses are prohibited in certain diseases or medical conditions! Exercises: Practice Shavasana or Corpse Pose as it looks like a dead body. If practiced correctly and with full efforts, can relax every body part, relaxing not only the body but also the mind: Spread the legs one to two feet apart, the toes are turned outwards, the heels facing each other, a comfortable distance apart. Bring the arms a little away from the body, palms turned upward. Relax the neck and allow it to turn to the side if it is more comfortable. Close the eyes and focus the attention on the body, breathing normally. Begin focusing each body part and relaxing it, then moving on. Keep the mind focused on relaxation, the breath should be normal. Relax the whole body. Anuloma involves inhaling through both nostrils together and exhaling each breath alternately between the left and right nostrils. The thumb of the right hand is used to manipulate the right nostril, while the pinky and ring finger are used to control the left nostril. There are many other poses of yoga like Balasan, Setu Bandha Sarvangasan, Uttanasan, Garudasan, Savasana, Triconasana, Viprita Karani, Marjaryasana, Dhyana, Bhujangasana, Anulom-Vilum, Pranayam, etc. Another stress-buster can be getting involved in any of your hobbies (may be a childhood hobby which you used to enjoy a lot!) - dancing, singing, painting, listening to soothing music, playing musical instruments, etc. (Believe me, you would really enjoy doing this alone as well or may be with your friends, kids).

The stress that you feel is not dependent on the stressor: It is entirely dependent on your perception of stress. Change your perception, there is no stress: it’s like looking at a glass half full or half empty. Life is difficult no doubt, as a general rule, but what we do adds to the stress in our response. We add to the stress of life instead of reducing it or learning to deal with it. Many of us follow a policy of avoidance, like your question seeks. We cannot do that all of our lives. So the first thing to do is to change your perception. For example, look at it as a challenge that you would like to meet with a positive outlook. See everything as a gift from God to perform as though you are doing it for Him. God never gives us work to do beyond our capacity. Now you may argue that it is the Government that is giving all the work. That is true in the overt sense, but if you look at it with spiritual eyes, you know that it is ultimately given by God. Secondly, build a good constitution mentally, emotionally and physically to combat stress. Eat healthily, sleep well, and exercise regularly. Talk about your emotions regularly to a good friend every day. Learn stress management techniques, which is all about expressing your feelings in appropriate ways. Do Yoga and meditation. Pray every day to God to give you the strength, and offer your work as a prayer to Him – you will give your best and you will feel so satisfied when you do it well. At work you must learn to delegate much or some of your work to subordinates. If you do not trust, you will find it difficult to delegate.

It is quite obvious that smoking tobacco does not agree with your constitution. It is not that it is good for others but your body reacts like it cannot tolerate the effects of tobacco smoke. The only solution is for you to give it up completely. Anyway, who would want to continue in a habit that gives you so much of discomfort?

I feel really depressed about every small thing and have been prone to crying for every little thing that goes wrong. I do not feel right about anything and can not sleep either. Whenever I sleep I sometimes loose my breath and sometimes experience voices behind me. I can not make decisions properly and i'm able to concentrate or understand anything. What is happening to me?

You need to consult any professional for proper diagnosis and reason of your problem.in the meantime you can try few things which will help you. Take proper sleep of 7-8 hours try to avoid sleep at day time. Its in our hand to be happy what it requires is slightly change in your approach ,stop thinking that something is wrong with me I am not well make yourself as much busy as you can so that you don't get time to think on all this. And its everyone's right is to be happy we cannot change the thinking of people or situation around us but we can get the things or reasons which make us happy, what we can do is to live every second of life, what do you want to be, what do you want to eat, to do, your career, your friends, your likings etc. Develop some hobby, make some good friends, make yourself busy, as much you will think you will get frustrate and will gain nothing, live only for yourself, and this can be possible when you will involve yourself in some other things ,the main concept is that make yourself as much busy as you can so that you don't get free time to think on this. First start from joining any hobby class and make any good friend with whom you can share everything ,do some yoga and meditation, expand your social circle. Take care.

How should I pay attention on my studies I can not able to memorize answers at the time of exam in the examination hall?

Dear lybrate-user, try this method many people are success first and most sleep early wake up early at 4.0 am and study with fresh mind, of course subjects which you are not interested you must spend more time and repeat it many times" practice makes perfect" not only human including pets. Parrots are talking and dogs are dancing. Switch off mobile phone when you go to bed and switch it on at 6am. Example some people they don't like mathematics but it is essential for life everyday and every time we are depended on mathematics, right from doctor to business man, including vegetable seller, we can understand many other distraction disturbed minds it is like love issues. Still not able to concentrate go for counselling help in person or audio/video. Please give us feedback after trying for weekdays.
