Hi, Apply Ksheerabala Taila to the hand and legs and massage for 10-15 mins. Immerse the hands and legs in hot water tub and keep moving hands and legs. This increases the blood circulation and reduces the tingling sensation.

Hello. Ask her to maintain a right standing and sitting posture, keeping back always straight (even while sitting or standing). Always select a chair with proper back support and hand-rest. (Excessive sitting or standing is to be avoided as well don’t carry much weight on shoulders). Apart from these, stress could be the major cause of pains! Exercise: Practice Shavasana or Corpse Pose as it looks like a dead body. If practiced correctly and with full efforts, can relax every body part, relaxing not only the body but also the mind: Spread the legs one to two feet apart, the toes are turned outwards, the heels facing each other, a comfortable distance apart. Bring the arms a little away from the body, palms turned upward. Relax the neck and allow it to turn to the side if it is more comfortable. Close the eyes and focus the attention on the body, breathing normally. Management: -Sit straight with a back-rest or back-support. -Stretching or activities that place additional strain on the back are discouraged. -Sleeping with a pillow between the knees while lying on one side may increase comfort. -Lying on your back with a pillow under your knees would also relieves pain and no pillow under your head. Medication: Give her homoeopathic medicines - Arnica 30 and Rhus Tox. 30 - give both of them thrice daily for 1 week. Also, apply Schwabe's Topi-Arnica and Topi MP Gel on the affected area in circular motions gently thrice a day. Get back to me thereafter.

Hello Doctor. I am a 30 year old male lean in body structure. Yesterday afternoon, while lifting a heavy object at home my lower back got hurt after that I am in pain lying on bed. I have taken ibuprofen along with a muscle relaxant and applying hotpack with gentle massage at regular intervals. There was slight improvement this morning and I am able move around my flat and perform gentle stretches for some time. However, my pain worsens when I try to get out of bed or bend or sit. I am not sure what this means. How long does it take to recover. Please advise.

Any gainacaligest doctors pleas clearly myproblem my back bones are very to hard pains౯of a ever day taken my case.
This back pain is due to no back exercise. Due to this muscle get stiff. When suddenly you get move fast that time this stiff muscle get break and pain start. In ayurved there is mentioned one procedure kati basti. Do this for five days with medicated oil if you want to do it you should do it under doctor observation. So consult ayurvedic doctor near you. You will definitely get good result.

Hello,if the x-ray is clear, that means you dont have any bony injury...but there may be some soft tissue injury in the knee joint which can only be seen in MRI or get a proper examination of your knee from an orthopedic to know what is the exact problem. In the meanwhile just avoid exerting your knee a lot, wear a knee support and avoid doing any exercises like squatting, lifting etc.ALSO take precautions like cross legged sitting ,climbing stairs up and down, using of indian toilet.Do icing 3-4 times a day and keep your leg elevated.

Hello, thanks for your query and welcome to lybrate. I am Dr. Akshay from fortis hospital, new delhi. You will have to elaborate your problem as to a detailed discussion of your back pain which means duration of pain and mode of onset. I would also like to ask you if it is associated with any leg pain or any other neurological symptoms like numbness, paraesthesias (electrical shock like abnormal sensations) or any weakness in limbs. Please also tell me about any associated symptoms like fever, weight loss etc. What medications you generally take and what has been your treatment history till now for existing problem. Also swelling in legs could be due to multiple reasons like thyroid disorders, postural, low protein levels in body, vascular causes etc. Do not hesitate to contact me if you need any further assistance.
