My age is 42. I have a bp 90 and 140 from last five years. Some doctor says it is ok and some says it is on the higher side. I took many precautions to make it down as I walk 30-40 min daily. I drink maximum fluids. I avoid salt. But still it remains the same. Is it harmful. Pls suggest how I can take it down if it is high. Thanks.

Mr. Lybrate-user, ideally bp should be systolic 120 to 130 (when heart is contracting), diastolic 60 to 80 mm hg, (when heart is relaxing. At your age it good to have bp as 130 / 80.131 to 139 and 81 to 89 is considered as prehypertension. So you will have to see that it is closer to 130 / 80 mm hg. One of the most important aspect is to reduce salt intake to just about 3 g a day. Avoid processed foods, deep fried foods and high fat foods.

Is it medically possible to erase a bad incident from your memory. And if it happened because of your own mistake and now you are unable to accept that you could do such a filthy act? I am regretting it badly. It's been a month and I cry for almost whole day, daily! I just can't accept that I did the act. Sometimes I feel like killing myself. Is there any way to completely erase it from my memory. I can not feel anything. No happiness no excitement nothing. I have lost interest in everything I do. I don't care if I am driving watching movie or bathing I keep thinking about that mistake over and over again and now I can't undo it. I don't feel hunger or thirst. I don't enjoy anything. Not even the things I was excited about before, I just keep on thinking about that mistake. I want to run away. I am completely detached from this world and I think about my mistake for every moment of the day, its out if my control to stop the thought and there is no relief. I just want to die. I don't know for how long I can handle it. Is there any way to relieve my pain. Can doctors erase that event from my brain? Can I get relief by any therapy? Can you help me forget that incident like it never happened? Can you take away that part of my life? Please?

Acne can be treated easily with facewash, tablets and creams. Some people have more oilyness on the face which results in breakouts. After completing treatment for controlling the active breakouts, tablets can be stopped and creams need to be continued to prevent recurrence. Diet and lifestyle modifications are also important. Please don't do any self treatment such as over the counter Steroid creams. Don't burst the pimples with your fingers as it can result in ugly scars. Hi, Anything whether it's beer, jin, medicines, if taken in limit, then it's fine otherwise all of these damages your liver. Over consumption of anything including water is not good for our body!

There are methods by which you can gain some height. 1. Follow these exercises regularly and you get the goal of height gain: * first stand straight bare foot on floor, then raise your arms upwards then raise your heels of foot with breathing in, try to stand on heels for 10-12 seconds and slowlylower down your heels back on the floor and breath outthe air. Repeat this exercise 5-8 times in morning. *sit on the floor, stretch you legs together so that both foot touch each other. Now raise your arms upwards together with back straight, now move your hands towardstoes of feet and touch them. Your forehead touching your knees. Slowly revert back the arms and move back arms in normal position. Repeat this exercise 2-4 times daily. You can privately consult me for understanding more exercises. * firststand bare foot on flat surface, now move your heels upwards and raise your arms up. Start walk on the front part of feet with heels upwards. Walkatleast 8-10 steps. Repeat this exercise for 2-3 times in a day. 2. Take 300 ml of rich cream milk, 200 gm of cheese and 2-3 eggs regularly. It will definitely give boost to your bone growth. 3. Sit in sun rays for atleast 8-10 minutes in morning of evenings when the sun rays are not so strong. It will help you by getting adequate quantity of vitamin-d. 4. The growth and height iscontrolled by growth hormone whichis secreted by pituitary gland situated in the brain. So take meditation and have a stressfree lifestyle. Take 6-8 hours of sleep daily. Meditation makes your pituitatry gland healthy and working properly. 5. You can also adopt the surgical techniques which helps you gaining desired height.

I have phimosis and I am doing stretching exercises to cure it. It almost cured and I can pull my foreskin over glans. When it reaches bottom of the ring, a vein above my penis becomes a spherical shape (bulging) and causes discomfort and a slight pain. I am single and I am gonna marry. When our mind is hooked into either past or worried about future it is normal to have lot of negative thoughts and in turn feeling low. The good news is that our mind could be wired to switch back to positive thinking and resilience building. We have immense potential within us and we could tap into those one step at a time, one day at a time. When things does not happen as we wish or people do not behave as we expect that is when out of disappointment, frustration, loneliness, anger, sadness. Etc we react and our mind starts thinking negative thoughts. Changing this pattern of responding to stressful situation requires both persistence and patience. I would suggest few things below. If you are unable to follow these things suggested here you should consult a psychologist. Also you will only be able to work on this out of love and kindness towards you. Strong motivation will go a long way. Writing a statement about how would you want to respond in a similar situation and how will your life and your happiness will change if you do learn to manage your stress and how to respond to it. Once that is clear. Try following things to learn relaxation response which leads to better coping mechanism on a daily basis. To begin with doing guided progressive muscular relaxation before sleeping will help you relax. You could google and download an audio file. I would also suggest you to take a multiple small break to take 3 nice and deep breath while keeping your eyes closed. You could do this while sitting or standing or while even walking or climbing stairs (keep your eyes open in that case). When you take a nice and deep break there is actual physiological change in your body. This will help you to activate parasympathetic nervous system which promotes relaxation and helps you calm down and think more clearly. This will also actually improve your performance in your work. Along with this exercise is one of the best way to relive stress and stay fit. Engage in any kind of physical activity at least 4 times a week. This also helps in stress reduction. Along with this some relaxation exercises as well as engaging in joyful activities such as music, singing, dancing, reading, being in nature, gardening, talking with friends or anything which you enjoy will help reducing stress and rejuvenation of your mind and body. Have good routine for sleep and eating. Lot of research has now proven that sugar is very harmful for our health. Reduce sugar and refined white floor in your diet as much as you could. Along with this also increase consumption of raw vegetables in the form of salad in both the meals of your day. Let me. If you are not able to take charge and bring yourself up then I would recommend consulting a psychologist and work with him or her for few months and learn how to manage your stress and resolve the current issue as well.
