Pigmentation or dark spots are due to many reasons like Sun exposure, Deficiencies,Thyroid disorder and hormonal abnormality.. As treatment apply Suncros lotion in the morning and Kojivit cream at night for 2 months.

5 Treatments that Will Make Your Skin Look Young and Supple

5 Treatments that Will Make Your Skin Look Young and Supple

Everybody wants a radiant and younger looking skin that is flawless and glowing. Having a healthy lifestyle that involves eating right, sleeping well and exercising enough can help you achieve that. But sometimes, that is not quite enough. It is a common misconception that the only way to get perfect skin is through cosmetic surgery. What many people do not know is that there is a range of non-surgical treatments and procedures that can give you the skin you desire. These treatments are quick and easy and do not come with the hassles of post-operation care.

Following are a few examples of such treatments that can give you better skin:

  1. Chemical peelsThis is a treatment method for skin that makes it look younger and smoother. It involves the application of a chemical solution that makes the skin blister and peel off. The layer of skin that lies underneath comes up to the surface and is suppler and less wrinkled than the skin that has peeled off.
  2. Botox injectionsBotox (an abbreviation for botulinum toxin) is a bacterial protein that is injected into the skin to make it appear less aged. The muscles in the area of the skin that receive the injection get temporarily paralyzed which causes wrinkles in the region to diminish.
  3. Microdermabrasion: This procedure involves taking silicon crystals and propelling them onto the skin surface to remove cells from the uppermost layer of skin. The inflammation or “abrasion” that forms on the skin surface helps suppress the appearance of superficial wrinkles and unevenness on the skin, making it look younger and better.
  4. Laser skin resurfacing: Lasers can be used to improve the appearance of skin. In this treatment method, high intensity light is used to tighten loose skin and reduce fine lines and wrinkles. Laser skin resurfacing can also be used to improve skin that is scarred. Depending on the intensity of the laser used, the effects of the procedure can last between 2 to 5 years.
  5. Filler injections: This is a common procedure used to improve the appearance of skin. It involves injecting hyaluronic acid into the skin to remove wrinkles and fine lines and increase skin volume. These injects help plump up the skin and make it look more smooth and supple than before.

If you wish to discuss about any specific skin problem, you can consult a specilized dermatologist and ask a free question.

The size depth of chicken pox scars are important factors in deciding which techniques or combination of therapies is best for improving their appearance. Small chicken pox scars can be treated by a method known as punch excision, in which the area is anesthetized locally and the scar punched out with a cookie cutter-like instrument and sutured closed with very fine suture material that is removed in just a few days to minimize the risk for the development of stitch tracks. Alternatively, they may be treated by punch elevation, in which the scar is anesthetized locally, and once again punched out. However, instead of completely removing the scar, the scar is lifted up to the slightly above the skin surface, fixed in place, akin to plugging the hole with the scar itself. When healed the area may then be treated with manual dermabrasion or dermaplaning to smooth and blend the plug with the surrounding normal skin. Sometimes, once the scar is punched out, a plug taken from the normal skin behind the ear is used instead to fill the hole, a variation of the above known as punch-grafting. For larger chicken pox scars, I prefer a combined approach consisting of subcision followed by medical microneedling. The subcision, which is performed under local, entails using a needle inserted under the scar to break up the abnormally thick bands of fibrous tissue--allowing the overlying freed tissue to "float" to the surface. This can be followed with manual (Dermaroller) or motorized (Dermapen) medical microneedling to better blend the somewhat abnormal-appearing surface skin of the scar. For the most superficial scarring, resurfacting procedures such as laser, dermabrasion or chemical peelscan yield significant estheitc benefit.

Hey doctor I want to know the symptoms of mumps? What are the precautions to be taken? Would be great if you help me out. Please do it fast.

Hey doctor I want to know the symptoms of mumps? What are the precautions to be taken? Would be great if you help me ...
The symptoms of mumps usually develop 14 to 25 days after becoming infected with the mumps virus (this delay is known as the incubation period). The average incubation period is around 17 days. Swelling of the parotid glands is the most common symptom of mumps. The parotid glands are a pair of glands responsible for producing saliva. They're located in either side of your face, just below your ears. Both glands are usually affected by the swelling, although only one gland can be affected. The swelling can cause pain, tenderness and difficulty with swallowing.More general symptoms often develop a few days before the parotid glands swell. These can include: • headache • joint pain • feeling sick • dry mouth • mild abdominal pain • feeling tired • loss of appetite • a high temperature (fever) of 38C (100.4F), or above In about one in three cases, mumps doesn't cause any noticeable symptoms. To help prevent spreading the virus, anyone with mumps should be kept away from school, university or work until five days after symptoms begin. The same precautions used in cold and flu prevention help stop mumps from spreading: proper hand washing and using a tissue to catch sneezes, then putting it in a bin straight afterwards. If someone has already had mumps as a child, they usually have lifelong immunity, although second infections have been known. The number of children having the MMR ( measles, mumps and rubella) jab fell for some time after a false scare about safety of the vaccine - which was later discredited. As a result of this, there are teenagers and young adults who didn’t have the vaccine in childhood who are at risk if they don’t get a catch-up jab. Vaccination against mumps may also be advised for unvaccinated adults travelling to parts of the world where it is more common.

Dear lybrate-user If there are only black marks and not scars they may become better by applying 20% azelaic acid cream twice daily. A good sunscreen and photo protection is a must also apply tri Luma cream at night. Hope that helps.
