Dear Lybrate user, At your age, Memory problems like amnesia are not common. Many young people are having problems with memory. These problems are either they are too busy or due to anxiety and stress. Busy people use organizers or employ a personal assistant because they can't remember every task. You need to understand this. If you still say, you are having memory problems, we need to check your memory using memory test. If you want more of my help in this regard, please contact me. If you are elderly smoker with blood tinged sputum, loss of weight, any new lump in axilla, neck, fossa above collar bone then you may be suffering from lung cancer. Usually lung cancer is silent killer. Symptoms are often late to come probably in 3rd or 4th stage. Treatment may not help with longevity of life in late stages but they can be palliative to increase the quality of whatever life remains.
QUIT SMOKING. .....

Dear lybrate user. You could be suffering from social anxiety disorder. Social anxiety disorder treatment consists of cognitive behavioral therapy, life style changes, relaxation therapy and meditation. Once you learn how to manage your anxiety yourself with the help of the above treatment methods, you will be cured and you can stop the medicines if any. The process could take some time according to the depth of the problem and the circumstances at which the patient lives. Take care.

I am age 26 working in Private bank as officer height 175 cm and weight 115 kg has habit of masturbation for 16 years...
Your masturbation ahs nothing to do with weight gain or diabetes. The headache you have is probably because of guilt around the masturbation, and for 14 years is stretching it too long. You should have reached out a lot earlier and been free from so much of torture from the guilt. Masturbation is not really bad; it is the addiction to it that is bad. Not even the number of years is a problem but the frequency and compulsiveness to do it is to be considered for its ill-effects. At your age, you may feel it difficult and it can become addictive if you have alone time, if you obsess about it, and if you are not into relationships. The problem with addiction to this is that you may go on to prefer masturbation to heterosexual contact, even when you are married. That obviously would be an insult to your wife and will lead to a lot of conflict. Heterosexual contact is very wholesome and the physiology is made exactly for penile and vaginal contact. You will instead enjoy a poor replica of this and not know or care for the difference. The second thing that can happen with addiction is that it will become compulsive and will have no boundaries or limits, since it can be done all by yourself, whenever, wherever, and however too. The big problem a lot of children get into is the guilt around this. A useful way to discharge the energy is to get into contact games, or exercises, or even hobbies to channelize it. Also, you should not spend too much time alone, and you need to keep your mind occupied with other interesting things and a lot of socializing. Even if you are not interested in marriage, for whatever reasons, it will help you to get into a friendship with a girl and enjoy the relationship where there will be a lot of excitement when you fall in love. Right now your physiological apparatus is primed and ready for sexual stimulation. But because of your age and even otherwise it is important to develop good control and not feed into your impulses. Keeping yourself occupied and living a healthy social life are the keys to manage your sexual drives.

Good Morning ~ Yes, doing pranayama is good for health overall and not just mental health or physical health only. I would recommend that you continue your habit of the same. However if you are suffering from schizophrenia, medications can be extremely helpful and this may have an additive effect to the pranayama or other technique that you may be following. Look forward to hearing from you. If you need help with booking an appointment online with me on this website either text, audio or video appointment

Here is detail about how to live and cooperate with Schizophrenia and Bipolar Disorder

Hello! My name is DR. Vikas Khanna and today I’ll be talking very briefly about how to live and cope up with problems like Schizophrenia and Bipolar disorder. It is especially for the people and family members of the patients who are suffering from schizophrenia and bipolar disorder. Schizophrenia is a mental disorder in which the patient lives in his own reality, he has his own imagined reality. His behaviors and his actions are totally disassociated with what we call our normal reality. We all have our own set of realities, we perceive the world in through our colored glasses but the reality of schizophrenic patient has no common ground with the world reality. The disease has a very strong genetic disposition and sadly its prognosis is poor.

So how to cope up with it? How to live up with it? Normally we force the patient to fit himself or herself into the reality of the world which is very disturbing for the patient. We are basically perpetuating the conflict by forcing the reality. They cannot change the reality, for them, that’s the real world. Can we leave them in their own reality and at least do not aggravate the conflict? Similarly, in bipolar disorder, patients normally have episodes of high and episodes of low but we try to fit their highs into what we call normal. Can we let them enjoy their highs and not struggle with their loss?

If there is any further query, you can approach the platform lybrate and you can pose your question through email or call.
