42 inches waist size is on higher side. But you can not lose weight from belly alone. You have to focus on overall weight reduction to reduce belly as well. For a start please follow: 1.Cut down the excess carbs. If you want to lose weight you should start by avoiding sugar and starch (like bread). A low carb diet reduces your hunger and makes it easier to eat less. And it might even increase your fat burning at rest. 2.Don’t skip meals. Skipping meals will not make you lose weight faster. That strategy backfires because your body thinks food is in short supply, so it slows your metabolism in order to conserve energy. Over time, the result is that when you do eat — even if you consume the same foods as always — your body will be slower to use the calories as fuel, thus creating a backlog of unwanted pounds. 3.Stay hydrated. You've heard it before, and you'll hear it again. That's because drinking 64 ounces of water daily is one of the easiest ways to speed up weight loss. Your body needs water in order to efficiently metabolize stored fat. When you shortchange your supply, you're likely to slow down that process, meaning it's more difficult for you to burn calories. An easy eight glasses a day (at least!) will keep your system running smoothly. 4.Start exercising. Strength training builds lean muscle tissue, which burns more calories — at work or at rest — 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The more lean muscle you have, the faster you'll slim down. How do you start strength training? Try some push-ups or a few squats or lunges. Use your free weights to perform simple biceps curls or triceps pulls right in your home or office. Do these exercises three to four times per week, and you'll soon see a rapid improvement in your physique. 5.Go for an evening walk. An evening activity may be particularly beneficial because many people's metabolism slows down toward the end of the day. Thirty minutes of aerobic activity before dinner increases your metabolic rate and may keep it elevated for another two or three hours, even after you've stopped moving. What that means for you: Those dinner calories have less of a chance to take up permanent residence on your hips. 6.Take adequate rest. You should also make an effort to get enough good sleep, preferably every night. Strive to wake up refreshed of your own accord, independently of the alarm clock. If you’re the kind of person who always gets brutally woken up by the alarm ringing, you might never be giving your body adequate rest. 7.Supplement vitamins and minerals. Nutrient-dense, good food is certainly the foundation of weight loss. But an adequate amount of vitamin D can be difficult to ingest via food. In the case of a lack of sun (such as during the darker months of autumn and winter), it’s wise to supplement for multiple health reasons – and perhaps even for your weight.

1. Do not wash your hair daily. 2. Give you head hot oil massage - mix of olive, almond, coconut and sesame oil. 3. Eat food rich in proteins 4. Apply some natural herbs like bringraj, amla and shikakai 5. You can apply raw amla juice daily 6. Use apple cider vinegar to maintain ph levels of scalp 7. Keep your head covered in sun and pollution.

Hello Although graying of hair is a natural process as you get older but at your age it may be a reason of too much stress and bad eating habits. Try to be happy throughout the day. Listen to your favourite music to relax your brain and muscles. Also, Having a highly acidic diet (Junk food, Pickles etc.) increases hair graying. Try to eat a lot of fruits and vegetables and drink ample amount of water to keep your body alkaline (opposite of acidic).

1. Dinner whole grain bread or chapattis, steamed vegetables and any seasonal fruit except banana and apple. 2. Do regular exercise like brisk walking (at least), running, swimming etc. Avoid sedentary and lazy lifestyle. 3. A glass of warm water mixed with the juice of half a lemon. A teaspoonful of honey can be added have it early in the morning.

There are various reasons for getting hair fall. Nutritional deficiency, stress, acute illness like malaria, typhoid, jaundice, chronic illness like diabetes, thyroid can trigger the hair fall, Smoking, excessive alcohol intake. Hair is made up of minerals, protein and iron. Any deficiency can lead to hair fall. Take Proteins are more in sprouts, beans, nuts, soya. Green, help to nourish the hair roots. Take lots of salads, diced fresh fruit, Green Leafy Vegetables like Spinach, Lettuce, Leafy Greens, Turnip Greens, Broccoli, Beans and Green Peppers, Almonds/4 Walnuts on alternate day’s and 2Dates/2Figs on also alternate day’s and 2 prunes daily. One glass of Milk per day if possible cow’s milk,, 10 – 12 glass of water per day

Cause of Over sleeping A) Alcohol, smoking, drugs caffeine, sleeping pills B) stress, depression, fatigue inadequate/disturbed sleep, C) obesity, lack of physical activity D) Environmental factor like room is too hot/cold, excess light, noise, un cofortable bed E) Hypo thyroidism, diabetes, Heart disease F) sleeping dis order like sleep Apnoea (Breathing disorder where you stop breathing periodically in the night, due to blockage of Airway), narcolepsy (day time sleep), Restless leg syndrome Treatment A) Have a proper sleep schedule-Get up and go to bed at same time everyda y (body’s natural clock –cicardian rhythm will be accordingly activated) B) Good sleeping environment (Quiet, cool, dark, comfortable bed room without noise, light), C) Avoid caffeine/alcohol/nicotine 4-6 hours before bed time, D) Avoid day time sleep, daily exercise, light reading for 15 minutes daily before going to bed E. Avoid anxiety/stress/depression/fear/boredom/lack of motivation.

Dear lybrate-user facing the problem head-on is always better than running away from it. Have a healthy life-style, --start your day at a fixed time in the morning, go for morning walk or some light physical activity, avoid intoxication, go to bed when feeling sleepy or for sex. Don't go to bed for rest, watching tv etc; get back to me after following for some days. Wishing you all the best!

There is no such research that has proved that ginger application helps in hair growth. Onion juice does have an effect on controlling hair fall

Hi doctor, I am 26 years old female, my skin is oily and little sensitive. My Skin is very uneven and look very dull after applying Photostable sunscreen. I don't want to use any steroid based cream due to side effects I am already having facial hair. I completed 3 sessions of laser treatment for upper lips this particular area look so dark and prominent on face. Hi lybrate-user, for brightening for sensitive skin, there are many treatments available. There are creams to be applied locally, which I can prescribe to you. Treatments like peels, dermarollers and prp available and provide lasting effects. These are not steroid based and will not effect facial hair growth. There are excellent sunscreens available for sensitive skin which work well for oily skin too. I would be happy to help you.

Hi lybrate-user, the weight gain is quite due to your sedentary lifestyle. Try to burn maximum calories throughout the day by indulging in any kind of physical activity you like e. G. Brisk walking, cycling, dancing etc. For at least 30 minutes a day. The most important thing to remember is to be regular and consistent. Experts say'sitting is the new smoking' so please get up from your seat/desk as often as possible e. G. May be to fill up a water bottle, go to your colleague's desk to discuss office issues instead of sending an email, do not use lift/escalators wherever possible, go for 10-15 minutes light walk pre- lunch etc. Eating healthy and small meals every 3-4 hours is equally important to boost the metabolism. Avoid processed foods and stick to healthy homemade meals. You can consult me for a detailed diet plan and exercise regimen. Good luck!

You need to focus on healthy foods eat foods that are loaded with vitamins, minerals, nutrients and calories. You can enrich foods with real nut butters, whole fat milk, avocado, whole wheat bread, vegetable oils, nuts, potatoes, eat more often. Increasing the amount of calories you eat each day will help to gain weight. Focus on eating each meal containing a protein then do regular exercise for fitness.

Madam, it is not due to heart. Take tab zerodol p 1tab 2 times per day after food x5 days, tab pan 40 mg once daily for 5 days, if persistent consult doctor.

Don’t worry. You can lose weight easily if you are patient and determined to shed those extra kilos. You just have to alter your daily routine, watch what you eat and be physically active. This requires you to be on your weight loss commitment for quiet long. As soon as you start seeing the results, you will be surprised as well as motivated to go beyond your weight loss and adopt and a lifelong healthy attitude. For a start please follow: 1.Watch what you eat – Are you eating too much junk, drink excessive alcohol and eating too much white food and sugar? Please cut it down to as low as you can from tomorrow. Cut down tea/coffee if you are too addicted to it. It is creating havoc inside your body. 2.Lifestyle – Are you a late sleeper and late riser? You can’t imagine what this schedule of yours is doing to your metabolism. It is degrading your digestive system from inside and your looks from outside. 3.Physically active – If you are a couch potato who loves to watch tv whole day then throw that couch of yours in the street and get yourself a treadmill tomorrow. Yes it is as simple as that. Who is stopping you? You have to be physically active all day long if you want to burn those extra calories. Do daily brisk walk, Pranayam, atleast 20 surayanamaskar everyday to start seeing the results. Take break between office work to walk a little or rather just climb some stairs to get that food you ate in lunch have space and heat to digest and absorb. What’s the harm in using your washroom to do a little middle of the day squats. Do that – No one is watching you. The key is to stay physically active all day long, no matter what. 4.Eat healthy and eat on time: Not only eating healthy is important but eating at right time is equally imp too. Have an early breakfast and early dinner and have 4 small meals between breakfast and dinner. To guide you a bit, here you go: A.Breakfast (Between 8-10 a. M) – Have oats/porridge or brown bread with milk and nuts. B.At 11 a. M - Cup of Green Tea c.Mid day meal (around 12 p. M) – Have a bowl of fruits. Citrus fruits are best taken during this hour and absorb well in the body. Have oranges, amla, pineapple etc during this hour. D.Lunch (between 2-3 p. M) – Daal, roti, mix veg, buttermilk and salad. You can also take brown rice with daal in lunch. Try to get your food cooked in olive oil. Lace your salad with apple cider vinegar, black pepper and seeds like flaxseeds or chia seeds to make it nutrition packed lunch. E.Between 4 p. M – 5 p. M – Cup of Green Tea F.Evening (4-6 p. M) – Have some nice sprouts with tomatoes and cucumber. G.Dinner (2 hours before sleeping, preferably before 9 p. M) – Paneer & veggies salad with olive oil, Roti or brown rice with Daal. H.Have a glass of warm milk. Weight loss is 80% about what you eat and 20% about exercises. That said, both the things go hand in hand. If you want to lose weight in a more healthy way than be patient and just follow the regimen everyday. Slow and steady wins the race.

The simplest method of removing minor surface stains is polishing, or micro-abrasion if staining is more intrinsic. Provided that your discolouration is not due to inadequate enamel exposing the dentin, tooth whitening (bleaching) is often the most effective treatment for yellow stained teeth. Advance procedures can be done with laser. Use snowdent tooth paste for whitening until then. Apply snowdent paste on the teeth. Wait for 10 to 15 min. Then brush your teeth with the same paste. Applying it overnight for better results.

Hello lybrate-user- mental sharpness and body growth depends upon the quality of food you take. Take these ayurvedic medicines- a) saraswataristha 2 tsp twice daily with water. B) narsimha rasayana 1 tsp twice daily. C) avoid fast foods, go to bed before 10 pm and wake up early at 6: 30. D) perform asanas like shirsasan (if not having any mental disorder) and tadasana and anulom vilom pranayam for better results.
