Good morning. I am 25 years old. I have CKD. My cholesterol levels are slightly increased cholesterol -220; LDL-150; HDL-32. Can I take tablets to reduce? Or diet only control the cholesterol. Before this cholesterol levels were increased but I didn't take any tablets by the diet only my cholesterol levels were dropped. But again these are increased now I am thinking that same thing to follow to good diet. Is it ok or need to take tablet?

First try diet and exercise measure for 4 weeks. Then repeat lipid profile and based on that it will be decided that u need medications in addition. For diet - Add vegetables and Fruits (as per your renal needs) in your diet, decrease sugar, fried food and carbs and improve your eating patterns. For details consult a dietician. For exercise - Start with brisk walking and target to increase it upto 40 mins daily. Also get your sugar and thyroid evaluated.

Ofcourse our body is not a robot wear and tear runs simutaneously so resting the body is part of management - you could be ambitious or rather over ambitioos and liable to suffer numerous ailments if not taken care of your body like - anxiety linked tempramental changes / hypertension / life style linked cervical / backache / irregular bowls with resultant piles / simple gastritis to peptic ulcers and later on adjustment problems with your spouse or family so there is endless list. I simply advice you to calm down and enjoy your present time.

Hi Vihnesh., Medication:- 1. Tab Obesidat -1tab twice a day before food. 2. Triphala juice-10ml with warm water daily before food twice a day. Tips:- 1.No salt intake after 7: 30pm 2.No aerated drinks. Even Liquor too. 3.Restrict mango and banana. 4.Restrict potato and rice. 5.No artificial juices. 6.Half an hour aerobic exercise daily. Joining a gym for workout will be a better option. 7.20 mins of breathing exercise (pranayam). 8.Avoid Rajmah, Channa, Peas, Mushroom, Gobi, Pumpkin, Leafy vegetables, Capsicum, Paneer, Cheese, Curd, Non Veg, Maida related items (like Bread, bun, pizza, burger etc), Deep fried and spicy food, Sweets, Sugar, carbohydrate rich fruits like apple, Sapota, Banana etc. 9.Avoid rice intake in the morning and strictly in the night. 10.Avoid intake of refrigerated food in the morning, prepared previous night. 11.Intake of food should be on time without skipping even a single meal. 12.Maintain min two hours of gap between dinner intake and sleep. 13.Consume minimum eight glasses of water a day. 14.“Early to bed and early to rise” should be strictly followed. Sleeping Late night should be strictly avoided. 15.Have fruits only in the noon time. Avoid fruits consumption in the night (occasionally can be taken before dinner). 16.Stop intake of milk during bed time. 17.Bathing should be before food intake only. 18.Tea, milk intake should be twice a day preferably morning and evening. Coffee intake should be strictly avoided

Hello, The option for you is of LASER therapy for hair removal! There are different types of LASER therapies (like Nd-YAG, Quantum IPL, etc.) for hair removal treatment which are available in the market. So, you can visit any of the dermatologist or the clinic/ hospitals which specialises in these treatments. Get it done from a renowned and an expert hands only. Frequent number of sittings are required for hair removal (single sitting is not sufficient) which is recommended as per the type of machine they do have and the Indian and the type of hair & skin you have. The reslts vary from person to person and it makes the hair more thinner, finer like a vellus hair which is not much visible or noticable and the more importantly they become bleachable! Rate depends upon the size of the area to be treated, the no. Of sittings required and the machine which would be used for this purpose. Drink 3-4 litres of water daily, it will help in long run. If required take tab meftal spas after eating something and 1 tab pan 40 empty stomach daily for 15 days. You are welocme for further queries. If needed get ultrasound of whole abdomen done and come back with report. Thank you

Hi..Include some form of proteins in your meal like milk and milk products.. vegetarian should have dhals while non vegetarian should include chicken..fish..and eggs in their meals.. *check your vitamine B12..D3 and iron levels and add a suppliments in case the levels are insufficient.. *keep a check on your thyroid as hypothyroidism can cause fatigue.. Reason is unhygienic food,junk food,bad climatic conditions...etc avoid tea.coffee.junk food.spicy food.fermented food.. walk for atleast 30 minutes a day... avoid alcohol consumption,smoking and non veg.. drink lots of juices and plenty of water... eat green vegetables and salads.... do pranayama early in the morning... sleep for atleast 7 hours...

Last month my father was detected with urine infection and after culture test Dr. started Colistin antibiotic treatment for 10 days after which he was discharged but after 2 days he was having fever and was again admitted to hospital and Dr. told us that the antibiotic treatment be given for 21 days after 21 days colistin antibiotic treatment my father is again having fever Why my father is getting recurrent infection What should we do further.

Get a urine routine and microscopy and urine culture and blood culture done, also get done a cbc and chest xray ,it has to checked which organism is causing infection and which antibiotic will work on it. Colistin is a good antibiotic used only when other antibiotics fail, if he has been previously given this, it's less likely that urinary infection will be causing fever this time... Or he really had only urine infection, other source of infection has to be found out also..

Advice. Hot fomentation x twice daily. Avoid bending in front. Postural correction. Sit tall, walk tall. Extension exercises x 15 times x twice daily bhujang asana x 15 timesx twice daily core strengthening exercises. Back stretching.

Generalized Anxiety disorder is a treatable condition. The two main treatments for anxiety disorders are psychotherapy/behavioral therapy and medications or a combination of the two. The treatment is usually long term. That you are feeling scared in closed spaces, height, lift, metros, high speed, big theater screens etc indicate that the anxiety symptoms are still in you. Get yourself evaluated by a Psychiatrist who will prescribe you medicines and/or advice you counseling sessions accordingly. Adhere to treatment. Also stay under regular supervision of your doctor, as treatment may be modified from time to time based on your state. Hi Lybrate User, There is no scientific evidence to show that fat burner supplement will create any weight loss. These are just myths which seem very convenient to people. Good health has no short cuts. You can't buy good health else all rich people would be healthy and fit without any problems. A nutritous diet and intensive exercise is the key to good health and fitness. When you go to gym. Spend 20 + 20 = Total 40 mins on Treadmill with speeds from 8-10 kmph. Then do skipping 500 times. After that do 10 rounds of Surya Namaskar. Within one month you will see the changes in your body and in two months your friends will say 'Wow'

To reduce the wt/fat over certain parts, always its suggestable and good to in natural way. Like following yoga/exercises, gym, under experts suggestions& avoiding fat/carbohydrates/fast/junk/oily/spicy/carbonated rinks erc. Try to take more water, proper diet menu. Should be proteinaceous, & more fruits, millets, dal, etc.

You need to have a diet and exercise plan based on your bmi, age & weight and sex, presence of any diseases. There are exercises specific for each part of body like hips, thighs or abdomen/or chest. There are matters to be discussed persoanlly. Comprehensive exercise& diet plan based on whether vegetarian /non vegetarian can be given if you ask me. May also need to do some tests. In brief, weight reduction can be achieved only by reducing the intake of food 1/3 of what you take now. And by appropriate exercise plans for each part like belly, thighs, legs / chest etc. To burn off fat. Some tips 1) drink three or four cups of water whenever you feel hungry and just before eating food 2) take boiled or raw vegetable like cucumber, carrot etc. As half of your diet. Then take 1/4 of your total diet as sprouted pulses / proteinaceous food like roti, cooked pulses and remaining with rice or other carbohydrates. Oil or ghee etc. Should be just bare minimum. The most important is to burn off the energy intake by exercises. There is no short cut or medicines without exercise. The food we eat is utilised for our energy needs and the remaining will be stored as fat which leads to obesity. It is better to do some tests.
