U can take a tab brufen for pain on sos basis and if associated wd dyspepsia and vomiting can take tab rantac and emset sos. But get screened for cbc and ct scan. And there are drugs if taken continuously can subside frequency also. For that consult a nearby physician.

My father has undergone the operation of brain tumor due to the hormonal disorder now what the precautions he has to take?

Assuming that your father has a tumor of the pituitary gland, and has been operated for the same, he needs to get regular blood hormone levels checked, along with mri scans of brain. The result also depends on whether the tumor was removed totally or not.

Migraine is a relapsing type of headache. It is usually seen in females but may occur in males too. Management of migraine includes treatment for acute headaches and then treatment for prevention of future attacks of migraine. Hi, The symptoms of migraine are constant headache either partial or complete associated with vomitting, eye pain, irritible mood, nausea and loss of appetite. Heaviness and drowsiness are not related to migraine.

These are normal movements. All newborn would have. However difference between normal and abnormal movement is only one. If you hold the moving limb and movements stops means it's normal. If it is abnormal muscle twitch it will not.

Sulochanaeswaranji, In a person with long standing diabetes mellitus,peripheral neuropathy invariably develops. In spite of good sugar control it can still occur causing symptoms like numbness, tingling and altered sensation or burning sensation. Primary requirement is excellent sugar control to be achieved. My husband is suffering from traumatic Brain Injury (Diffuse axonal head injury. Since 23rd may 2014. Till date he in semi consious state. We reside in Dombivli (Mumbai). No neurologist is ready to visit home. He is on complete bed so its very difficult to move him.

Her state shall take long time, with proper supervision by a neurologist, to improve . An institutional service is better. In the mean time you please continue physiotherapy at home as you have seen and learnt from a physio. Encourage him and try to make him do exercise.

Add 1spoon honey and chawanprash in morning and evening and have 2 cups of milk wth almonds kishmish banana in morning and evening. Avoid fry spicy junk food and aerated drinks and do 30mints of exercise in the day avoid excess salt and spices. Do deep breathing 5times inhale exhale from left nostril than same from right nostril.

Beet juice: apart from being a nutritional powerhouse, beet juice is a great source of nitric acid. The latter helps with blood flow in the body. A study has found that people who consume beet juice have an increased circulation in the white matter resulting from an increased brain activity. This juice is sweet in taste and can be consumed every alternate day.

Berry smoothies: acai is a fruit which has a south african origin and hits the top of the list when it comes to brain assisting food. It increases the flow of the blood and dilates the blood vessels. However, this is extremely expensive. Berries also have a similar effect on the brain, but they are less powerful in nature. What can be done is to mix a little ingredient of acai in frozen berries juice and drink the same every day. Frozen berries retain the freshness and the nutritional benefits. This drink will improvise your brain and increase blood flow in the body.

Pomegranate juice: pomegranate is a great antioxidant and it very aptly limits the free radicals from damaging the brain cells. Cocoa should not be overloaded with sugar and should be consumed hot before starting your day.

migrane can be managed with lifestyle changes and medications, try muscle relaxation exercises. Relaxation may help ease the pain of a migraine headache. Get enough sleep, but don't oversleep. Get an adequate amount of sleep each night. It's best to go to bed and wake up at regular times, as well. Rest and relax. If possible, rest in a dark, quiet room when you feel a headache coming on. Place an ice pack wrapped in a cloth on the back of your neck and apply gentle pressure to painful areas on your scalp. It is very important keep a headache diary. Continue keeping your headache diary even after you see doctor. It will help you learn more about what triggers your migraines and what treatment is most effective. A dose of riboflavin in appropriate dose as prescribed by me, also may prevent migraines or reduce the frequency of headaches. Coenzyme q10 supplements may decrease the frequency of migraines, magnesium supplements may also be used to treat migraines do reply back for medication prescriptions. Being also a general physician and registered dietitian, I prescribe both evidence based herbal as well as allopathic medicines complementing with dietary guidelines and home remedies carefully personalized for each individual patient.
