I am 39 years old female and frequently attacked by migraine headche. Is there any permanent solution for this?

MD - Pathology
General Physician, Amritsar
Try to find out the trigger in your case. Maintain a diary . whenever you have migraine just take a note of what all you are that day and what you did? After sometime try to find out a common factor and try avoiding that. Usually it is cheese, chocolate, fasting, poor sleep, loud music, dim light. If you have more than 2 attacks in a month or attacks are debilitating, then start preventive treatment, see a psychiatrist

I am . 33 years old. Have numbness in thigh from last one week.

Dip. SICOT (Belgium), MNAMS, DNB (Orthopedics), MBBS
Orthopedist,
Hi thanks for your query and welcome to lybrate. I am Dr. Akshay from fortis hospital, new delhi. Numbness in thigh could be due to multiple reasons, two of common ones are entrapment of lateral cutaneous nerve of thigh called as meralgia, and other could be due to issues in lower back region due to which there could be some nerve compression. If you can tell me the location of your numbness, outer or inner part and whether you have symptoms in your lower back region as well, I can suggest you a treatment plan for it. Do not hesitate to contact me if you need any further assistance.

Please note that it depends on cases to cases for in some cases patient needs some time days-weeks to show eye movements/opening. However I suggest keep in touch with your Doctor for not letting her to slip into Coma. If so then it can take weeks/months to come back from Coma. As of now you still need to keep patience for next 48 hours.

BPTh/BPT, MIAP

I have shooting pains in my leg. Along with numbness and a sensation of needles pricking. What should I do?
It may be due to weakness of muscles or nerves causing difficulty in blood flow to your legs. Or it may be due to slip disc of back at lumbar region resulting in sciatic nerve compression causing radiating pain & numbness from lower back till legs. You should go for physiotherapy treatment for it to reduce pain & numbness and to improve muscle power of back & legs. You can visit me for physiotherapy treatment. Or you can consult me in private for free consultation.

Mild swelling post operative over forehead and eyes is normal. That will resolve over few days. Do not worry about that. And about his behavior, there are some changes in behavior after brain injury especially in case of frontal lobe. So give him some time. All will settle with time.
