What protection should do. Specially for skin. For swimming. Or the choline water from swimming pool?

What protection should do. Specially for skin. For swimming. Or the choline water from swimming pool?
Hi, It’s not recommended to use any barrier products to protect your skin before entering the pool. It doesn’t do much and it also can effect the pools chemistry; but still can apply a waterproof sunscreen designed to protect against chlorine sensitivities. Shower frequently between swims to reduce the amount of overall chlorine your skin will absorb. Since Chlorine strips your skin of its natural oils (while also protecting you against harmful bacteria in your pool water) you will want to take care of your skin to prevent dryness and any rashes for those with very sensitive skin. Right after your swim, go straight to the shower and rinse the chemicals off your skin with soap and water. If your skin is super sensitive, you can opt for swimmer specific body washes that will neutralize the chlorine. If you’re going to use moisturizer, look for products high in antioxidants like vitamin E and vitamin C. These will help neutralize the chlorine as well.

Treatment of rectal cancer is surgery. Well, patient has to be fit for it. If there are associated medical problems they need to be corrected/controlled before going ahead with surgery. So it is better for your mother to take treated at a multi-speciality / medical college hospital for a well coordinated management. Thanks.

Hey I am 22 year old and every time my lip get dry and I have to use oil or Vasilan so please say remedy.
Chapped or dry lips are a common problem that can be painful and unattractive. Common symptoms are dryness, redness, cracking, flaking, and tender or sore lips. Some of the main causes are vitamin deficiency, allergic reaction, dehydration, smoking, excessive licking of lips, sun exposure and harsh weather. Castor oil is good treatment for dry and chapped lips. • Simply apply castor oil to your lips several times a day. • You can also make a soothing treatment using one teaspoon of castor oil, one teaspoon of glycerin and a few drops of fresh lemon juice. Mix it well and apply it on your lips before going to bed. In the morning, wash it off with a cotton ball dipped in lukewarm water. Repeat this daily until your lips are healed. • Homoeopathic LIP BALM ( BAKSON LAB) Apply twice daily

Tattoo Removal Myths Busted

Diploma in Cosmetology, MD DVL, Fellowship in Aesthetic Medicine , MBBS
Dermatologist, Thanjavur
Tattoo Removal Myths Busted
  • Myth#1: The darker the ink, the more difficult to remove.
    • Fact: False! dark black ink is actually easiest to remove. The dark ink absorb the laser wavelengths better, therefore reacting the best. Black and dark blue inks are easiest one to remove, light shades such as green, orange, and light blue are harder to remove. In short multicolour tattoo are difficult to remove.
  • Myth#2: Laser tattoo removal is more painful than getting the tattoo.
    • Fact: Virtually painless tattoo removal options are available. Topical numbing cream may be used to almost eliminate pain. Incase your aesthetic clinic do not offer these options the sensation is like a very strong rubber band snap against the skin, which does feel similar to when one gets the tattoo.
  • Myth#3: Tattoos can be removed in one session.
    • Facts: False! it is expected to remove tattoo in one or two sessions. But the reality is that it can take multiple treatments to remove completely. Treatments are done every 6 to 8 weeks. Our bodies need time to get rid of the treated ink layer. If treatments are done more often than said time no additional progress is going to be made.
      • P. S: location is very important factor in tattoo removal. It is known fact that the head and neck areas have a richer network of blood vessels and lymphatic channels, and so have a better drainage as compared to areas like the hands and the feet. This helps in faster and complete clearance of tattoo particles, once they have been broken down by the laser to smaller sizes.
  • Myth#4: Laser burns the ink out of the skin.
    • Fact: False! your body always sees the tattoo as foreign object. The laser actually breaks up the ink particles into tiny pieces for lymphatic system to digest, the ink leaves your body through the urination process.
  • Myth#5: Sooner you remove the tattoo the better for you.
    • Fact: No! the older tattoo respond better than the new ones.
  • Myth#6: Laser possess health risks in future.
    • Fact: False! laser energy dissipates within a second of firing the impulse. There is no long term retention.
  • Myth#7: Tattoo removal always leaves a scar.
    • Fact: False! scarless tattoo removal is possible
