Hello. There is no medication or food for improving eye sight or to get rid of glasses. If not interested in glasses then you can try a. Contact lens b. Lasik laser as your age is now 21 years so your number will not increase now whether you wear glasses or not as number becomes stable at age of 18-20 yrs. Having said that I advise you to eat balanced diet including green vegetables and seasonal fruits for keeping eyes and body healthy. Lasik is a very easy and painless procedure. If you want to get rid of glasses then go for lasik.

Sometimes I can see the future it takes time to happen but it happens. It happens in 2 to 3 months or years also but it happens. And when it happen I can feel that the vision has already came.

DHMS (Diploma in Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery)

Yours is a case of Precognitive dreams and these dreams are dreams that appear to predict the future through a sixth sense; a way of accessing future information that is unrelated to any existing knowledge acquired through normal means.Let me give you an example of what many people would deem as precognition, but is actually quite simply explained. Rosy has a dream that she is pregnant and three weeks later discovers that she is pregnant in real life. This is not really a psychic dream because Rosy had access to plenty of unconscious insight: her body gave her subtle signals, and she knew she had been trying to conceive. In the same way we all have intuitive dreams like this. They express our innermost hopes and fears based on unconscious information that we may or may not be repressing. There is nothing paranormal about Rosy's dream.Indeed, to be deemed a truly precognitive dream with paranormal roots, we need to access unpredictable information about the future. And that is one reason why precognition is hard to prove.

I am using contact lens I have used the expired lens for a day. And I got irritation in my eye. Could you please tell me it will make any problem in my eyes?

MBBS, DOMS
Ophthalmologist, Hyderabad
If irritation persists or increases, it could be a concern, you will need to get yourself checked up by an ophthalmologist to make sure cornea is not infected. If irritation reduces or is relieved completely, you probably had a lucky escape. Meanwhile, you can try using a lubricant eye drop such as zyaqua, 2 or 3 times per day and inform us the response.

I was using an eye drop'acupat' since day before yesterday. I was known that this drop has some side effect on sinus and I was having sinus infection after started using the drop. But now also the infection has not gone. Will it go after some days automatically? Or should I do something for this? I am so thankful to the doctor who will help me.

Hello acupat is basically an antiallergic. To best of my knowledge it has no bad effect on sinus. Regarding allergy. You should avoid rubbing eyes. Do cold compresses and keep using acupat twice daily.

MD - Alternate Medicine, BHMS

Yes, definitely it can increase. Any stressful situation for body will increase blood pressure. This, in the simple term I said you. :) Hope you understood. So if you feel like eye problems leading to High Blood Pressure, you can consult an ophthalmologist and get cleared up and you can get clear-cut cause of it and can workout in that direction so your BP will also remain in normal levels. Take care. :)

Migraine headaches are sometimes preceded by warning symptoms. Triggers include hormonal changes, certain foods and drinks, stress, and exercise. Migraine headaches can cause throbbing in one particular area that can vary in intensity. Nausea and sensitivity to light and sound are also common symptoms. Preventive and pain-relieving medications can help manage migraine headaches. Avoid triggers. If certain foods or odors, light, sunlight seem to have triggered your migraines in the past, avoid them. Exercise regularly. Regular aerobic exercise reduces tension and can help prevent migraines. Reduce the effects of estrogen.

Dear sir my age is 23 but my eye sides is very weak I m having 3.5 no lenses. So what can I do for reducing or maintain such no.

BHMS
Homeopath, Faridabad
Hello, Include the following for getting better vision: Vitamins A, C, E, and minerals like copper and zinc are essential to eyesight. Get the antioxidants from dark leafy greens, egg yolks, yellow peppers, pumpkin, sweet potatoes, and carrots. Include garlic and onions. Blueberries, grapes as they have antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties that can help improve your vision. DHA is a fatty acid found in coldwater fish like salmon, sardines and mackerel. Exercises for eyes: Warm your eyes. Rub your palms together to create heat, and then place them against your eyes for five seconds. Repeat this three times. Roll your eyes. Start by looking up and then slowly circle 10 times clockwise and 10 times counterclockwise. Focus. Hold a pen at arm's length, focus your eyes on it, and slowly bring the pen closer until it's about 6 inches away from your nose. Then slowly move it back, keeping your eyes focused on the pen, 10 times in all. Massage your temples. Using your thumb knuckles, massage your temples in small circles, 20 times in one direction and 20 in the other. Repeat the same actions above the mid-point of the eyebrows at the forehead, then below the eyes on both sides of the bridge of the nose. Take a mini-nap. Put your head back, close your eyes, and relax for 3 minutes. Insufficient sleep may weaken your vision, so shoot for 8 hours of sound sleep a night. Rest your eyes 10 minutes for every 50 minutes spent reading or in front of the computer. If your eyes feel overly tired, lie down and place cooling cucumber slices over your eyelids. Medication: Take homoeopathic medicine which will help you in preventing rather reducing the power of your eyes. Take Physostigma 6/ thrice daily for 1 month. Thereafter, revert back for further guidance.

I am 72 years old male. Few days ago I felt pain in my left eye after reading newspaper and feel pain while viewing tv programmer. I don't have any problem vision wise. Is this a possible symptom of cataract needing operation? I have been taking" ALBALON" drops, this has given me relief.

Phaco Development Program, Fellowship in Pediatric Ophthalmology, DNB Ophtalmology, MBBS
Ophthalmologist, Mysore
You may feel you do not have a refractive error. It is possible that you have ataract and it is also possible that you have some form of refractive errror shich could be corrected with just glasses. Another possibility is that you have some amount of dry eye. It is hence advisable to get yourself personally checked by an ophthalmologist.

I use lens for my eyes. In left power -1.75 and right -1.00. My question is it 6/6 power power of my eyes?

MBBS, MS - Ophthalmology, DOMS, DNB Ophtalmology, FICO (UK), FLVPEI (Cornea, Cataract & Anterior Segment)

Your lens powers seems ok. Without specs or contact lenses, your eye sight will not be 6/6 unless you get laser vision correction at a good centre (if you a suitable candidate for it).
