Hi lybrate-user. Sorry to know that your suffering from sensitive teeth sensitive teeth tooth has a layer on the top called enamel which is a protective layer preventing leakage into the layers beneath this. The next layer below this enamel is called dentine, which is a very sensitive layer. So when you say your tooth is sensitive which means that your enamel is probably missing in few areas or thin in few areas exposing the second layer which is a sensitive layer. There are few toothpastes available in the market which combat sensitive teeth. It works for few individuals. However meet your dentist to actually diagnose the problem and then go ahead with treatment. Your dentist might suggest you simple enamel fillings or any other type of treatment which is appropriate depending on the severity of your sensitivity. However get your medical records updated and mention to the dentist if you have any gastric regurgitation, which cud be the cause at times. Minimize the intake of carbonated drinks, citrus fruits, squeezing lemon to food, consumption of wine as these are the very few major culprits to dissolve the top layer of the tooth and exposing the second layer thus making your teeth sensitive. Stay away from tobacco related habits which also makes your teeth sensitive try to use soft tooth brushes to prevent unnesasary wearing of the tooth surface. Your dentist would be the right person to customize the plan which suits you the best as every individual is unique.

Is there any doctor that can help me clearing my doubt related to dental points required in ssb medical army?

Is there any doctor that can help me clearing my doubt related to dental points required in ssb medical army?
Hi. Dental points means number of good and healthy teeth in mouth. If you have lost any teeth replace it before you go for army exam. If you have broken tooth or missing tooth, your dental points would come down Regards.

We need more investigations with clinical examination to decide upon treatment. You may need artificial enamel filling or root canal treatment with a cap. Advance procedures can be done with laser. Dental tips: - visit a dentist every six months for cleaning and a thorough dental check-up. Limit sugary food to avoid tooth decay. Gargle your mouth thoroughly after every meal. Scrub gently to clean your tongue with a tongue cleaner. Floss all your teeth inter dentally & brush twice daily, morning & night, up & down short vertical strokes, with ultra-soft bristles, indicator brush. Tooth brush to be changed every 2 months.

Both d cysts are common in wisdom tooth region which slowly increases in size simultaneously destroying d adjacent bone. So one has to undergo a surgery to remove them. Depending on the size of the cyst surgery is planned in LA or GA. if surgery is planned in GA u need hospitalization for 3days.

Underbite can be of both skeletal and non skeletal. Non skeletal that is if you have only problem with the teeth and your lower jaw is normal in position we can go for invisalign. And these most expensive type of braces will be in lakhs but these aesthetic.

It could be fungal infection called candidiasis. See a dentist or alternatively send me pics. We might prescribe you antifungal creams. Discontinue smoking. Also get hiv1 and hiv2 test done. Take multivitamins tablets and use tongue cleaner. Try this and report back with your reports via consult now. Won't charge you consultation fees.
