Dear lybrate-user, very sad! your uncle beating aunt violently, it is very bad, he might be having misunderstanding with your aunt, you haven't mentioned why he is showing his violent nature towards your aunt. Any how his sadistic actions indicating that he is facing psychological problems either your uncle is not happy with your aunt, or they have conflicts. As you are worried about aunt inform your parents amiable manner so as elders they can find solution to their problems coming to you, you have shifted to your home it is good, otherwise facing these situations in this age may hamper your studies, career and future. To overcome from this situation you speak to your parents and elders to find the solution of their problem by sitting together solve the problem with discussion you just relax and try to forget the what was happened try to shift your self in making your self busy in your studies and career. Practice meditation regularly meet your positive friends, have good time with them read positive, motivational books after coming out from the situation concentrate on your career/ studies all the best!

Hi, My father (Age-67) has gone through kidney stone operation (left sided pyelolithotomy) on 4th January, 2016.

Hi, My father (Age-67) has gone through kidney stone operation (left sided pyelolithotomy) on 4th January, 2016.
I hope it was successful. Though it was removed, he has to follow certain dietary modifications for the problem not to be repeated again. About 80% of all kidney stones are composed of calcium and other minerals, usually a combination of calcium and oxalate. In some cases dietary adjustments help to prevent the recurrence of these types of stones. Increase fluid intake: this is the most important preventive measure for all patients who develop kidney stones. It hinders the formation of stones by diluting the urine. The biggest portion of calcium in the diet comes from milk and foods made from large amounts of milk, such as cheeses and yogurt, dark greeny vegetables. Too much may cause calcium stones. Sugar, sodium, and animal protein: it has been found that too much of these may also aggravate the development of calcium or calcium oxalate stones. A diet high in animal protein affects certain minerals in the urine that may promote the formation of kidney stones. Insoluble fiber also speeds up movement of substances through the intestine, so there will be less time for calcium to be absorbed. When vitamin c is used by the body, oxalate is produced. Take personalised expert dietary advice. Thanku.

In the morning and evening before meal, I used to drink warm water mixed with a half cut lemon with 3/4 cloves of garlic. How long can I do this? is this ok if I continue for months or years?

There is no harm in continuing warm water lemon /garlic, unless you feel some discomfort. It's is advisable to take for 3 to 4 months regular for desired results.

3 common reasons on why your losing your hair.

Lack of protein

If you don't get enough protein in your diet, your body may ration protein by shutting down hair growth. This can happen about two to three months after a drop in protein intake, they say.

What to do: There are many great sources of protein, including fish, meat, and eggs. If you don't eat meat or animal products, here are a few soya, panner, cheese, yogurt, beans etc

Dramatic weight loss

Sudden weight loss can result in thinning hair. This could happen even if the weight loss is ultimately good for you. It?s possible that the weight loss itself is stressing your body or that not eating right can result in vitamin or mineral deficiencies.

Overstyling

Vigorous styling and hair treatments over the years can cause your hair to fall out. Examples of extreme styling include tight braids, hair weaves or corn rows as well as chemical relaxers to straighten your hair, hot-oil treatments or any kind of harsh chemical or high heat. Because these practices can actually affect the hair root, your hair might not grow back.

Use lukewarm water for cleansing and bathing. Avoid harsh scrubs, which can cause skin irritation. Exfoliate a few times per week only. It helps to get rid of dead skin that can clog your pores, but exfoliating too much can actually cause further irritation and more acne problems.

Being a homoeopath,I will suggest you a natural way to glow your lips along with a lip balm. Lemon, Sugar Lip Scrub: In a small bowl, mix in 1 teaspoon of freshly squeezed lemon juice and coconut oil. Add in and stir thoroughly 2 teaspoons of granulated sugar, a bit at a time to make thick paste of uniform consistency. If needed, you can add in more sugar. After mixing it well, you can transfer the scrub into a suitable storage container. It can be safely kept in fridge for about one week.Apply a little bit of the scrub to your lips, and scrub it in circular motion. To effectively exfoliate your lips, use a small toothbrush. Rinse your lips with warm water, and apply a LIP balm( BAKSON) on your choice.

Hi Lybrate user you can live your life happily by accepting yourself, by believing yourself. Accept yourself as you are, you are a lot more than you think you are. Never lose hope and never give up. Just try to identify your strengths. Make a list of all the hardship you've overcome, all the goals you've accomplished, all the lives you've touched for the better. Keep it close and review it frequently. Spend some time with your hobbies. Just believe in yourself, have faith in your abilities. Thanks.

Hi I am suffering from more hair fall so how can I prevent hair fall and promote hair regrowth.

Hi I am suffering from more hair fall so how can I prevent hair fall and promote hair regrowth.
To have a healthy and long hair does not depend only on the outside appearance of your hair but also on how healthy you are inside. Strong and healthy growth of your hair depends on a balanced diet. The nutrients that are consumed by the body fortify the hair follicles. For boosting hair growth, to prevent hair loss, to prevent dandruff, to have a healthy scalp, certain vitamins like Vitamin B, C, A, D and minerals like selenium, zinc, folic acid, iron and protein are required. You also require a good amount of Omega 3 fatty acids, which keep your hair scalp hydrated. Consuming foods having any or all of these nutrients are one of the solutions to long, healthy thick hair. You can take Wholegrains, like barley, oats, buckwheat, broken wheat, ragi, bajra ,Brown rice,Legumes like kidney beans, soy beans, dark green leafy vegetables ,eggs, carrots, tomatoes, sweet potato, fruits, yogurt, walnuts and almonds.Along with the dietary changes , you may massage your scalp with almond oil at night and rinse it next morning.
