I have a lower back pain for 4 years. I did an MRI it shows at the end of my spinal cord the thing like jelly between disk L2 has skipped out a little bit and its been damaged. Some time my left leg becomes little num and hard to sit walk or sleep. Wht is the best treatment for this sir except operation.

If you have low back pain and sciatica you can undergo intermittent pelvic traction where in your half of your body weight will be added in the electronic traction so that that would help you to reduce the pain, along with Interferential therapy stimulations which would help you to get relieved from the radiating pain. Apply ice for the pain to get subsided immediately. If you cannot go immediately for the physiotherapy treatment. Ice can be kept in the low back where you have back pain. It is suggestible to wear Lumbo sacral belt which would help you to build the abdominal muscle tone which itself would make you feel better. You can also wear MCR chappals which would help you to have less weight falling in the painful back.

Goodmorning sir, I have been suffering with sever lower back pain for past 15 days. No relief even after taking pain killers and applying gels like Omini, Volini, Iodex, Declofenac etc. Please guide, while walking I am feeling little better. Actually the pain moves around my waist where the pants tied.

FIRST thing she morose due to psychological, give her homoeopathic medecine. Ignatiia 30 2 drops to be taken twice daily morning and evening with half cup water. &Kali phos 6x 4tabs thrice daily with warm water after meal. You report me after 7 days.

I have black tiny muscles emerging at my neck and armpits. I want to know what these are and how can I cure?

Requires detailed investigation and examination Presently investigations suggested: hb, tlc, dlc, esr, blood sugar fasting & pp, uric acid vit d xray of the affected part. Anyway you may try sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick mattress are harmful use no pillow under the head do hot fomentation. Paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do neck back knee & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. Do not ignore it. Let it not become beginning of a bigger problem. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. If it does not give relief in 4-5days, inform.

1. Ginger- Turmeric tea: Add 1/2 tsp ginger powder and 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder to 2 glasses of water and boil it. Add 1 tsp of honey and drink the mixture twice daily. This will help reduce pain and swelling 2. hot water fermentation:. put crystal salt and 1/2 tsp of cinnamon powder in hot water and dip a towel in it and keep the towel on the painful joint. the pan should subside. 3. olive oil massage: Heat olive oil and massage on the joint twice daily. helps in lubrication.

Apply prasarini oil or pranacharya restopain oil on your affected part then give hot fomentation. Take 1-1 tab mahayograj guggul twice a day. Take maharasnadi kwath 2-2 tsf twice a day. Avoid junk food. Fermented food. Spicy food. Take green vegetables. Do exercises. Do pranayama early in the morning. Drink minimum 7-8 glass of water everyday. Take 7hrs sleep minimum.

Hot Fomentation. Gentle Shoulder Stretching. Core Strengthening Exercises. Gentle Neck Exercises. Avoid sleeping on affected side. Warm up and cool down is a must. Hot fomentation. Also gentle elbow rom exercises.

Hi I can understand your problem. Do not tell to trample. # relax & stay positive. # take hot and cold foementation. # change sleeping position. # use lumber support. # take break every 20 minutes. # do strengthening exercise of back and core muscles not all back pains are same, you need specific treatment plan according to your symptoms.

Is costochondritis Very risky/Dangerous? My doc told me it is muscular pain but uptill now it had been 3 months I am facing from muscular pain. Core Strengthening Exercise- Straight Leg Raised With Toes Turned Outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Hams Stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. repeat 10 times, twice a day. Sports Taping- stretch the tape from both ends and apply on the affected area

Not Stretching Properly? It May Cause You Muscle Strain!

Muscle strain or muscle pull is a condition, which is characterized by damage to the muscles or its adjoining tendons. Undue pressure can be exerted on the muscle when you are carrying out routine activities such as sudden lifting of heavy things or playing contact sports. The damage to the muscle is usually in the form of partial or complete tearing of the tendons and fibres attached to the muscles. The small blood vessels in the muscles can also be damaged by the tearing of the muscles, leading to local bleeding and bruising.

The symptoms of muscle pain are:

  1. You will experience pain even while resting
  2. There will be bruising, swelling and redness around the affected area
  3. You will experience weakness of the muscles and tendons
  4. The movement and mobility of the muscle will be impaired
  5. You will experience pain when you use the affected muscles

The causes of a muscle strain are:

  1. Playing contact sports can lead to injuries
  2. Lifting heavy things
  3. Exercising without a proper warm up routine
  4. Lifting extremely heavy weights during exercise without proper acclimatization
  5. Sleeping on one side only for a long period of time
  6. Not stretching properly
  7. Falling from a height

The treatments for muscle strains are:

  1. Pain medications: You can opt for pain relieving medications such as non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medications to help combat the associated pain of a muscle strain.
  2. Rice: Rice stands for rest, ice, compression and elevation. This treatment is usually the first step after suffering a strain, before opting for medications. This treatment prevents further aggravation of the problem.
  3. Compress: You can alternate between hot and cold compress to reduce the swelling and pain.
  4. Stretches: Once the affected area has healed, it is important for you stretch the muscles to improve their mobility and strength. If you wish to discuss about any specific problem, you can consult a Physiotherapist.

Hunching over a desk is a leading reason why people end up with crippling back pain at some point in their lives. But a few simple changes in the way you work can make your pain go away. 1-Keep your head up; Focus on aligning your head and neck right above your shoulders; avoid straining forward. 2-Be choosy with your chair: Pick one that allows your lower back to rest against a lumbar support. Then tilt the back of the chair so it’s very slightly reclined. 3-Plant your feet: Keep them flat on the floor and shoulder-width apart to quiet tension in your knees and ankles. 4-Take breaks: Getting up at least once an hour— just do some shoulder rolls—reduces pressure on spinal disks and boosts circulation. If your back pain is severe please go to a Physiotherapist for detail assessment and management of your pain. Best wishes.
