Tk calcium supplements and put a towel roll under knee and press for 10 sec and release repeat 10 time and do quadriceps exercise and physiotherapy treatment for few days for better walk.

Hams Stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. repeat 10 times, twice a day. Frozen Shoulder - Causes, Symptoms And Treatment

Frozen shoulder is a condition where the patient encounters continuous shoulder stiffness and pain. It could last for several weeks. Inflammation around the shoulder increases the inability to move or stretch properly. This happens when somebody is recovering from an injury. Frozen shoulder can also occur when somebody is wearing a sling or a cast. It also occurs if someone is recovering from surgery or experiencing joint pain. It may also be experienced as a symptom of thyroid, joint disorders or diabetes.

Some of the causes and risk factors for creating a frozen shoulder are as follows:

  1. If you are 40 years or older, your chances of a frozen shoulder are higher than others
  2. Recovering from a damage or surgery
  3. Hormonal imbalance
  4. Ladies are more prone to a frozen shoulder
  5. Cervical disc infection that influences the nerves around the shoulder
  6. Not moving your arm because of other pain or wounds
  7. Having a previous medical condition like diabetes or other heart diseases
  8. Open-heart surgery or spinal surgeries
  9. Poor diet and unhealthy lifestyle

The most widely recognized symptoms of a frozen shoulder include:

  1. Stiffness around the shoulder usually happens in one shoulder at a time (not both) and will probably return in the same shoulder. Muscle, joint and bone agony in and around the shoulders or arms may be experienced.
  2. Restricted scope of movement
  3. Having difficulty moving and using the shoulders or arms ordinarily, (for example, experiencing difficulty in getting dressed, driving, holding objects before you, and gestures.)

Treatment:

  1. Stretch the shoulder: Before beginning shoulder exercises for a frozen shoulder, try to warm up your shoulder by doing a few warm up exercises. This will improve the blood supply in the affected area and avoid future injuries by making your body more comfortable with the motion. The best approach is to extend and warm up the shoulder by applying heat for 10 to 15 minutes, scrubbing down or showering with Epsom salt.
  2. Non-intrusive treatment: While these activities mentioned above can be easily performed at home, if pain continues and makes it difficult to move around or work ordinarily, see a physiotherapist who can appoint particular activities and can enhance your scope of movement, flexibility and strength.
  3. Acupuncture: Acupuncture is considered one of the best treatment choices for any joint and nerve related problem. The treatment is based on focusing on the trigger points of the pain and putting pressure on them via needles. The treatment is not painful and is known to produce good results in the long run.
  4. Dietary supplements: Various supplements can be taken with the recommendation of a doctor, in order to improve recovery. Alfalfa (horse feed) and turmeric are two of the most regularly recommended elements that relieve swelling and repair the tissue in the shoulder. If you wish to discuss about any specific problem, you can consult an orthopedist.

I am 23 year girl. I am suffering through severe back pain which is on right side. Not in the bone. The pain so severe that I had to take pain killer. I have gone through the mri but the reports are normal. The pain is increasing day by day and has started in my right hand also. Please help

Start with physiotherapy sessions and learn exercise for spine. Don't sit on floors. Don't do forward bending. Use lumber spine belt also. Take calcium and methylcobalamine supplement with evion capsules.

Avoid sitting cross legged. Avoid squatting- quadriceps exercises- lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. Core strengthening exercise- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Hams stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. Repeat 10 times, twice a day. Sports taping- stretch the tape from both ends and apply on the affected area contrast fomentation (hot and cold).

Tears more than 50% are better treated with arthroscopic repair. Diabetes is not contraindication for surgery. Your sugar must be controlled. Is that doctor doing shoulder arthroscopy?

Hello according to your condition you have to take hot water fermentation through towel and do it 3 times in a day duration-15 min along with stretching and back exercises like straingh leg raising, bridging with -20 min repetition -5 sec hold do it for 3 days sure you will get well soon take care.

Do hot fomentation x twice daily. Postural correction- always sit with a small pillow at your low back. Sit tall, walk tall. Extension exercises like bridging and bhujang asana x twice daily. Sleep on your back with a pillow under your knees. Avoid lifting any heavy weights. And get vit d levels checked.

Lybrate-userji as you said you twisted your knee. In such cases you should investigate first by x ray nd mri as most of the time you got ligament injury. Till that time you can not do exercise. If on mri there is no ligament injury than nd than you should do exercise.

Hi You are very young to actually have persistent back pains. If you have localized back pain with no other symptoms like radiating leg pain, neurological symptoms like numbness, weakness, paresthesias etc, then you can start with following recommendations for initial period of 2-3 weeks: - to maintain proper posture of your back while working and sleeping - if pain is more then you can take a short course of an anti-inflammatory medication like tab etoshine or paracetamol or one which suits you - physical therapy initially under supervision of a trained physiotherapist and then to continue at home - adequate calcium & vitamin d intake if levels are low in body - ice packs can applied if your pain is acute, then hot fomentation can be done at home - analgesic spray for local application can be used and is easily available. - avoid lifting heavyweight/ acute forward bending in mornings etc we will observe you for next 2-3 weeks how you respond to this conservative management protocol. If you are not feeling better, then we will have to get some investigations like, dynamic x rays of lower back and few blood tests for evaluation.

Hi gout is a very severe disease, it affects joints, heart and kidneys. Most people forget that uric acid which deposits in joints can deposit in heart and kidneys too. So basically besides most painful joints it can kill also. Also as disease progresses the arthritis spreads and can have a devastating effect (google gouty arthritis, gouty top, gouty joint, gouty erosions images). The treatment is very simple, but to be taken continuously. Also it is a widespread misconception that you should stop dals. Dals are very healthy source of protein, and they need not be stopped in gout. Gout is a very severe form of arthritis. It has acute and chronic phase. In acute phase requires immediate management in the form of certain drugs. Chronic phase requires treatment to prevent attacks and later lower uric acid. Most doctors treat intermittently, which is why it spreads, you should treat it continuously like diabetes or hypertension. The concept is simple keep uric acid below 6 or in severe cases 5. It can be achieved in most patients by a single tablet. Bringing uric acid from 10 to 7 is of no use because uric acid will keep on depositing as long it is above 6 attacks go gout can be treated with any form of therapy. But chronic gout requires a simple tablet in allopathy (like a single tablet in patients having high blood pressure), to prevent further attacks and prevent heart and kidney disease. No drug in ayurveda can do that.

My friend got the report conclusion as below: - Mild broad posterior, right far lateral disc protrusions at L4-L5 level - Moderate right paracentral extrusion of disc material and bilateral facetal arthrosis at L5-S1 level. Is surgery required and what is the best solution for complete recovery. Currently he finds his right leg losing its strenght. Currently he is 41 years of age. Please help.

Your friend has a disc prolapse at 2 levels L4-L5 and L5-S1 levels which is compressing the nerves supplying the legs, which is the cause of his pain. Initially nonsurgical treatment in the form of medications and spine exercises should be tried which relives symptoms in most cases. However if symptoms persist, become worse or reccur, surgery is warranted. In a snall percentage of people, If there is loss of urinary or bowel control then surgery becomes an emergency.

Treatment- 1-apply prasarini oil or pranacharya restopain oil on your affected part and give hot water fomentation . 2-take yograj guggul and agni tundi vati after lunch and dinner with warm water. 3-Take maha rasnadi kwath 2-2 tsf twice a day. 4-Take pranacharya vatari capsule and syrup twice a day..
