U can have sex as many times as you want or possible. But if you do not want children at present then start using OC pills asap. Oral pill is the best contraceptive for newly married couple. Condoms are still the most popular form of contraception, but can easily be forgotten in the “heat” of the moment, especially in a newly married couple. It also reduces sexual pleasure. Oral pills (combined pill) when taken correctly, the pill is over 99% effective at preventing pregnancy. As for that bleeding, it is normal as some blood reamins collected in the vagina or uterus which comes out after sex.

I am 24 years old. Since last 9 months I have been having scanty periods. Light red bleeding lasting only 3 days . My normal period would last 5 days with proper bleeding. I took ayurvedic medicine for 3 months and for 3 months my periods were fine. But again as soon as I stopped the medicine they started becoming scanty. In Aug 2015 I had a scan that showed polycystic appearing ovaries I haven't taken any tests or treatment for it. I will definitely go to a gynecologist now and get required tests done. As off now. I am worried about this one thing. I read on the net that scanty periods is due to high prolactin which is caused by tumor in pituitary gland. Is this true? I understand a doctor can give diagnosis only after testing but Going by my symptoms does it look like tumor? I am otherwise very healthy. I am not overweight. Even though my periods are scanty I get them regularly. I don't smoke drink and my exercise includes yoga and brisk walk. Also just a week before I am about to get my periods I started breaking acne on forehead which goes away immediately after periods. Please help. Does this problem look worrisome?

Hi lybrate user your problem is more of hormonal imbalance. Please don't worry about prolactinoma if you don't have other symptoms like headache, blurring of the vision. PCOD is known for above period pattern. You should worry about fertility issue. You may need ovulation induction when planning for baby .

In the womb, a baby’s brain develops from neurons moving outward from early precursor cells. After the neurons move, they grow extensive dendrites (the input part of a neuron) and axons (the neuron’s outputs). These early stages are driven by genetic instruction. At birth, a baby has many, many more neurons than it will use as an adult (100 billion!); the baby also has more synapses A baby’s experiences with its parents and its social and physical environment help “prune” and selectively “sculpt” those connections that are being used, resulting in the eventual cell death of up to 50% of cortical neurons. The connections that are used become strengthened and more efficient. Many studies have shown that providing an enriched physical or social environment at this time can subsequently improve learning and memory, encourage exploration, and decrease fearful responses to novelty. It can also reduce the impact of genetic or environmental risk factors. Cells in the brain—called gray matter—develop throughout childhood and adolescence and then decrease in number. The axonal connections—called white matter—develop into adulthood.

As you had menses 3 times you r 100% not pregnant. Menses will come like this in pcod because of hormonal changes in the body. To increase the flow of menses you need to reduce your weight to have normal bmi of less than 25.

6 Ways How Alcohol Abuse Can Ruin Your Relationship

MD - General Medicine
Sexologist
Ask Free Question
You may think that it is just a harmless drink or two at the end of the day to help you relax. it's just a few drinks when you get together with friends. or it's just that you need to get rid of the office stress. We all need to catch a break sometimes, which makes our favorite brand of drink our best friend. Trouble starts when 'a drink or two' moves to a level where you can't hold the drink anymore. It affects your ability to think straight and take decisions that you may regret in retrospect. Alcoholism not only has serious health consequences but also can ruin your life and relationships. Don't tread down the path of self destruction, or this is what you'll find:
1. Conflict: It is not a coincidence that fights are common when one or both partners are caught up with alcohol abuse. It is said that if there is too much alcohol in your system, it hampers with your ability to make rational decisions. It allows you to become inconsiderate about others, and give more importance your addiction over their requirements. It, to an extent, numbs you to what others feel, and makes you drink even more.
2. Financial loss: Alcohol costs money. And the more you spend to keep up with your addiction, the more money flows out of your monthly household expenses, monthly savings and retirement plans. And this money literally goes down the drain. Like any other addiction, once you start alcohol abuse, you need it everyday. Drinking may go on to impact your ability to hold on to your job as no one will eventually want to hire someone who has alcohol on their breath at 9 am during client meetings. Alcohol is a strict restriction in certain professions where you may put other people at risk. At the very best, you'll be left with a warning. At the worst, you'll lose your job and end up with no work and no money to support your addiction.
3. Accident prone: In 2014, 9,967 people died in drunk driving crashes - one every 53 minutes. This may sound only like a statistic to you - until you speak to the families who lost their loved ones or have to see them suffer through loss of limbs or brain function to bear lifelong suffering. And as far as you are concerned, you may end up seeing the wrong end of a prison. Such things have a profound impact on your relationship - many of which fail to last through the ordeal.
4. Infidelity: You've seen it a thousand times in movies - which actually might get reflected in reality, if you wake up next to someone whose name you don't know.
5. Infertility: Alcohols and babies don't mix. Too much alcohol intake can stop women from making and keeping a baby.
6. Divorce: An alcoholic husband or wife is a valid ground of mental trauma applicable in a divorce.

Top 3 Strategies To Keep Migraine At Bay

Every person suffering from migraine will agree that - although medications can control the head-piercing pain that each attack brings with it, preventing the onset of the pain altogether is the best way to deal with it. Follow these three simple strategies and based on the reaction of your body to these, mould your lifestyle to effectively prevent the occurrence of migraine to a good extent.

1. Get adequate amount of exercise
A large majority of people who suffer from migraine steer clear of any highly intensive or strenuous exercise as it is known to be the prime trigger for a severe attack. Having said that, avoiding physical activity altogether can worsen your migraines and thus you should focus on indulging in some light exercises. Activities such as jogging, walking and yoga can reduce the duration of your migraines and also bring down its severity and frequency. Moreover, regular exercise brings down stress levels which are also a major factor for triggering migraine attacks.

2. Take note of your meal schedule and type of food that precipitates headache
For most patients migraine is triggerred by irregular meal schedule and some foods acts as triggers for migraine like cheese, chocolate, chinese foods. It is very imprtant to maintain a regular meal schedule, avoid skipping meals and take note of the items that precipitate your headache. Items that can precipitate headache is different for every individual and maitaining a headache diary can help you to identify these triggers. Also, note down the occurrence of your migraines, their duration and severity. Having adequate data makes it extremely simple to recognize a recurring pattern and leads you to the main cause behind your migraine attacks.

3. Maintain a stable sleep schedule
Sleep plays a great role in triggering migraine attacks and irregular sleep patterns, not getting adequate sleep, or sleeping more than required – all these habits can lead to a severe attack. Thus, try and create a sleep schedule for yourself keeping your daily routines in mind and follow it without fail.

When is it safe to have sex after having a baby? Your wife may be physically able to have sex as soon as 2 weeks after delivery if she had only a small tear or none at all, but most women wait at least 4 to 6 weeks, or until they get the fitness from their health care provider. It all depends on the type of delivery your wife had, how difficult it was, how many stitches she needed, and any complications of pregnancy. There might be a big difference between when a woman is physically able to have sex versus when she feel emotionally ready, and actually want to have sex. The postpartum period is a time of huge changes in her body, her hormones, her lifestyle, her sense of self and her relationship. Lack of sleep, the constant demands of the newborn, her changing body image, and any anxieties about motherhood can have a negative impact on her sexual desire. The right time for you to resume intimacy is, therefore, a very individual decision. Some couples get back to their previous level of sexual activity with few problems, but for most couples this requires some time, adjustment and communication. Even if sex is the last thing on your mind, it is important to nurture the bond with your partner in non-sexual ways to maintain your relationship as a couple, not just as parents. Regarding yet not having pain...you please consult with gynaecologist...Thanks.

Dear user you need to decide first which one you prefer as your primary treatment based on the same you take one system of meds and complete its course of action. However there is no adverse effects of continuing both the treatment at same time but a gap should be maintained between the two meds.
