For leg pain, please follow the below advise: keep your leg raised while sitting or lying quadriceps strengthening exercises- quad clenches: lie flat on your back or sit upright on a chair with leg kept horizontally on another surface. Now, tighten the muscle on the front of the thigh by pushing your knee down. You should feel your thigh muscles clench, hold for 3 secs. Repeat 10 times twice a day.

I am 42 year old male, met with an accident and broken tibia above the ankle, its now 18 months old, had been operated for open reduction and internal fixation. The bone has healed upto 60%. For your back problem, may b pain is there bcos of improper posture and muscle weakness. So for that you have to b aware of proper posture of back and learn some back exercises. For this you have to see some good physiotherapist. For the swelling in your feet, may b bcos of improper blood circulation and plus lack of muscle ton. For this also you have to see a physiotherapist. Plus you can tell the physiotherapist about your foot fingers or you can consult a g. P for that. Thank you.

Stop going to gym. Take rest for week. If pain subside continue to gym avoiding weight lifting and floor exercise. Till than hot water fomentation.

Hi 1) wear comfortable sports shoes 2) make daily routine of exercise 3) rule out calcium and vit d deficiency 4) do proper warm up before exercise and cool down after exercise 5) do stretching of legs do exercise under supervision of skilled physiotherapist. Hello, I am affected with polio and have disability of 55% in knee and ankle. I can walk without any support. Hello, Rest for three days on lying will help you more than any pain killers, avoid sitting, avoid bending forward will reduce strain in your spine. If you're having pain in your muscles in back of your thyes you should check any shortening of your hamstring muscle, if so you should stretch your harm string muscles by sitting on a chair and keep your leg on a table have more night than your chair with out knee bending. Some times lying supine in a bed with a pillow in your back for a short time will help you to relive your pain and if fever persist more than three days no way you have to consult your doctor. I.

Identify the mid point between the ankle bone and tendons and give pressure with a blunt edge on either side of your foot for 2 minutes. Also give pressure in the web between 2nd and 3rd finger from your toe for 2 minutes. Finally give a good massage for both feet in hot water. Identify the dipping portion on the back of your knee folding. Press this dip with both middle fingers and hold your knee with your thumbs for support. Please swing 20 times morning and evenings. Give pressure the dipping point on the portion between the thumb and the index finger on the back of the palm. Press and release for 15 times where the pain is more. This will solve the problem. Further do some wrist rotation exercise.

. Apply Hot Fomentation twice daily. Avoid bending in front. Postural Correction- Sit Tall, Walk Tall. Extension Exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times. Bhujang Asana – Lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily. Core Strengthening Exercises- Straight Leg Raised With Toes Turned Outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Back Stretching- lie flat, pull one of the knee forward to chest, hold for 3 seconds, then bring the other knee forward to the chest and again hold for 3 seconds. Then pull both knees towards the chest and hold for 3 seconds. Repeat 10 times each exercise twice a day. Do the cat/cow stretch. Get on all fours, with your arms straight and your hands directly under your shoulders; your knees hip-width apart.

Hi I can understand your problem. # relax & stay positive. # take hot and cold foementation. # change sleeping position. # use lumber support. # take break every 20 minutes. # do strengthening exercise of back and core muscles not all back pains are same, you need specific treatment plan according to your symptoms.

Hi t I can advise you to stop physical therapy till you have pain in your neck and shoulders. You can also take gentle anti inflammatory medications till that time for once your pain goes down, you can then start with gradual conditioning of your muscles including regular physical therapy sessions so that you develop good strength in your affected muscles, take adequate calcium and vitamin d intake as per requirement and you should be ok.

Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Use no pillow under the head. Kindly take BioD3 Max 1 tab dailyx10 Paracetamol 250mg OD & SOS x5days Do back(spine)/shoulder/knee exercises Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take Do not ignore it. It may have to be further investigated. It could be beginning of a serious problem. If no relief in 4_5 days,then contact me again. Contact your family doctor or nearest hospital for emergency help.
