Identify the mid point between the ankle bone and tendons and give pressure with a blunt edge on either side of your foot for 2 minutes. Also give pressure in the web between 2nd and 3rd finger from your toe for 2 minutes. Finally give a good massage for both feet in hot water. Identify the dipping portion on the back of your knee folding. Press this dip with both middle fingers and hold your knee with your thumbs for support. Please swing 20 times morning and evenings. This will relieve your problem. Consult after 10 days.

There is no cure for rheumatoid arthritis, But treatment can help reduce inflammation in the joints, relieve pain, prevent or slow joint damage, reduce disability and enable you to live as active a life as possible. Early treatment and support – including lifestyle changes, medication, supportive treatments and surgery – can reduce the risk of joint damage and limit the impact of the condition.

I am 40 year old and I am sufering from middle back pain for last 03 month. Please Give some solution.

DNB, MBBS

Hello, this is Dr. Mathur from new delhi, welcome to lybrate. As far as your backache is concerned, the most common causes of back ache are postural or weakening of bone due to low vitamin d. Please also let me know if you have any fever, loss of weight or appetite, which would indicate an infective pathology. Is the pain confined to the back or does it radiate to the legs as well? please get an x ray dorsal spine ap and lateral view and the following blood tests fasting: vitamin d, uric acid, calcium, phosphorous, alkaline phosphatase and revert back with investigations reports. In the meantime you can start tab zinase d 3 times a day after meals, tab pantocid 40 mg's once a day before breakfast and tab corcium k2 once a day in the evening. Make sure you're not allergic to any of these medicines before starting them.

Is it possible to treat bleeding and back pain during early pregnancy please advice me.

Erasmus Mundus Master in Adapted Physical Activity, MPT, BPTh/BPT

Is it possible to treat bleeding and back pain during early pregnancy please advice me.
This is a general low back ache and for this you can follow these measures: one keep a pillow right under the knee while sleeping, next is you can keep ice in the painful area for about 5--10 minutes, It looks like you are anaemic. If you have back pain after you sit for long hours then it is due to your haemoglobin levels as it is important to check that. Anaemia always leads to the symptoms of being tired and also having back / leg pain though there may not be any pathological reasons for back pain. And also pregnancy induced back ache is a big subject and it is generally due to the posture and the increasing tummy size.

Degeneration ofL1-L2, L2-L3 and L4-L5 lumbar intervertebral disc Posterior annular tear noted at L1-L2, L2-L3 and L4-LSlevels. At Ll-L2 level there is right paramidline protrusion, No foramina narrowing. At L2-L3, L3-L4 diffuse posterior disc bulge noted ,causing effacement of ventral thecal sac and inferior recess of bilateral neural foramina narrowing at L3-L4 level. At L4-L5 level, posterocentral and left forminal protrusion causing, significant canal stenosis and left neural foramina narrowing ,resulting in compression of exiting L4 and traversing LS nerve roots at this level. At LS-Sllevel, no disc bulge or herniation. Conus medullaris appear unremarkable. Impression: - Lumbar spondylosis degenerative changes as mentioned ,predominant at L4-L5 level. - At L4-LSlevel, posterocentral and left forminal protrusion causing, significant canal stenosis and left neural foramina narrowing ,resulting in compression of exiting left L4 and traversing Left LSnerve roots at this level. TECHNIQUE: The :rv1RsItudy of the lumbosacral spine was obtained by sagittal Tl and T2 weighted images and axial Tl and T2 weighted images through T121L1 to LS/S1 disc spaces. FINDINGS: The MRI study of the lumbosacral spine disclosed evidence of degeneration of lumbar intervertebral disc spaces depicted by low signal intensity on T2 and reduced height at T121L1, Ll/2, L2/3 and L4/S disc spaces. There is mild dorsolumbar kyphosis at L1I2. The spinal canal is of normal satisfactory caliber. The conus is of normal shape and normal signal. The L 112disclosed posterior right paracentral broad based disc protrusion. The L2/3 disclosed posterior left paracentral broad based disc protrusion with focal high signal intensity consistent with focal tear in the annulus fibrosus at posterior left paracentral region. The L4/5 disc space disclosed posterior central broad based disc protrusion with left predominance causing significant compression on the anterior surface of the thecal sac at this level and associated with narrowing of lateral recesses bilaterally more pronounced on the left side with compromising of the exiting left L5 nerve root. CONCLUSION: The MRl examination of the lumbosacral spine disclosed degenerative changes of lumbar intervertebral disc spaces more pronounced on T 121L1, L 112 and L4/5 with mild dorsolumbar kyphosis at L 112 and posterior right paracentral broad based disc protrusion at L 112, posterior left paracentral broad based disc protrusion at L2/3 and posterior central broad based disc protrusion at L4/5. Sir you are having left Lowe limb radiating pain along with tingling and Numbness, you can't walk for long because of leg pain. This is all because of nerve compression by disc material. As per the reports compression is significant but I can comment with confidence after seeing the mri films. Two options are there in your case if pressure over nerve is moderate we can try pain block injection or if pressure over nerve is severe then surgery is the only choice left. But we can decide the treatment modality after seeing the mri films only. Just to inform you now a days technology is so advance that hardly it required more then three stitches after the surgery. No bed rest you can go home next day your own. We are using minimal invasive techniques like endoscopic and microscopic surgery for such type of cases with excellent results.

Pain in my ankle sometimes when sit for long time in ground pain in joint of bone.
Hello lybrate-user, I am giving few remidies for you to get rid of ankle pain and join pains. Please follow and get benefits. Suffering from ankle pain or Joint bone pain? Sometimes ankle pain may occur due to sprains that took place unknowingly. Ligaments that are attached to the ankle either tear partially, or fully rupture. The overall pain experienced depends on the severity of the injury, yet home remedies can reduce the amount of pain and discomfort you feel. Here are 5 home remedies for you to reduce pain and discomfort on your ankle: Icing your ankle may respond better to an alternating hot-and-cold therapy. Use two gel packs. One should apply heat for 20 minutes. Follow it with a cold pack for 20 minutes. Alternatively, you can prepare ice packs by filling a gallon-sized Ziploc with fresh ice. Apply the ice pack on your swelling ankle to reduce the amount of swelling will reduce your discomfort. Ensure that the ice rests directly on the swollen area. If the cold is too intense, place a small rag between the skin and the ice pack. Herbal Remedies Home remedies such as coconut and garlic oil help reduce pain and swelling when they soak directly into the skin. Mix 3 table spoon of coconut and garlic oil into a container and heat in the microwave for ten seconds, slightly warming the mixture. Generously massage the oil directly onto your ankle for ten minutes, allowing the oils to soak into your skin. Cabbage contains minerals and vitamins that are useful when ingested, as well as when they’re applied externally. Gather the outer layers, or leaves, of the cabbage plant. Blanch the leaves by boiling them in water and then immediately placing the leaves into a container of ice-cold water. Once the leaves have been blanched, wrap your entire foot and ankle, and allow them to rest for 30 minutes before removing. Dieting Changing your diet to relieve knee pain can be effective over a longer term. If you are heavy, you may experience poor circulation and heightened stress in the ankles and other weight-bearing joints. If you are overweight and suffer from frequent strains or bone degeneration, losing weight can permanently end your ankle pain. Adding a joint supplement to your diet, such as glucosamine or chondroitin, may also help some people by protecting the ankle joint and surrounding tissue. Exercises Exercise is an ongoing home treatment that will serve as pain relief and prevention. To prevent future ankle injuries, and to strengthen an ankle that is already injured, range-of-motion exercises and stretches provide the most benefit. Only stretch or exercise the ankle once the pain has subsided. Range-of-motion exercises will increase the flexibility of tendons and ligaments that have tightened during an injury. Trace the alphabet with your toes, moving the ankle as much as possible throughout. Repeat at least ten times per day to strengthen your ankle and improve your flexibility. While sitting on a chair, place the foot with the injured ankle flat on the floor. Slowly move your knee from side-to-side without lifting your foot off of the ground. Repeat this exercise at least ten times per day to enhance lateral movement. The pain level of these exercises should never move into moderate or severe levels. Experiencing a small amount of pain is common when beginning range-of-motion exercises, however, discontinue the exercise if the pain becomes severe.

Hello lybrate-user, as am able to asses that your issue is more psychological rather than physical, may be you have some kind of anxiety issues back of your mind. Pain in neck and back of head may also a result of stress and anxiety. Lack of concentration is occur due to preoccupation of mind. That's why we feel distracted and disconnected to our surroundings, which leads to unnecessary frustration and anger. Do not feel low and you can recover easily from these kind of issues. You need some help from counselor or any mental health expert near by. But the very first thing accept your current condition and give yourself time to address the core issues. Thank You.
