Quadriceps exercises- lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. Core strengthening exercise- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Hams stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. Repeat 10 times, twice a day.

Hi , the pain in the right leg n heel can b referred from the back. U may or may not hav back pain. Consult a mckenzie clinician in your area n gt your husband treated as the prob can increase n might b vry intense. Towel Hamstring Stretch Lie on the back, supporting the thigh with the hand or with a towel wrapped around it.. Slowly straighten the knee until a stretch is felt in the back of the thigh, trying to get the bottom of the foot to face the ceiling, one leg at a time. Hold the position initially for 10 seconds, and gradually work up to 20 to 30 seconds.

I Am A 21 Year Old Guy I Have Pain In My Backside Of Neck Left Scapula Pain, Pain In Spine At Different Points And Pain In Knee This Problem Is Start Last Year Pain Started In Upper Body But After Few Months Knee Pain Started I Consulted To Doctors In Sports Injury Centre Delhi They Said All Thing Are Absolutely Fine My Vitamin D Level Is Come Out Very Low But Now After Taking The Granules Of Vitamin D For Three Months Regularly It Reaches To 84 ng And Doctors Said Now It's Maintained And They Suggested To Close Calcium And Vitamin D Dose Now I'm Not On Any medication But I Have Too Much Pain In My Knees And Back, Neck And Scapula Portion Of Left Arm, I Feel Sometimes Not Well Feel Anxiety And Fainting And Feel Vomiting But I Never Vomit In This Situation. I think you are suffering from early degenerative spondyloarthopathy. Initially bcs of def of D3. Pls avoid few things first like- bending forward, avoid pillow during sleep, active neck bending and avoid chronic sitting. And first go for physiotherapy with proper exercise or ultrasonictherapy if needed-- then warm compression every day and maintain postural care. Medical/drug therapy not ADVICED without discussing with you properly.

There is so much paint in middle of both feet. Whenever I walk or when I press the middle of foot I feel so much pain ,I don't wear heels facing problem from last 2 months. Hi lybrate-user As a home remedy try putting your feet in warm water with a pinch of salt in it for a few mins regularly. Also massage your foot with warm mustard oil. Pl inform the extent of pain and radiation of pain to legs, if so. Do physio, Yoga and drink warm water. For the time being pl start decoction of chavya, Chitrak, Shunthi, Peepal, peeplamool made at home. Also Nycanthes leaves (Paarijat) decoction should be used. Report after two weeks with info asked above with lab test reports, if any.

Ayurveda is an ancient healing technique that is very effective for today's lifestyle ailments. For many people, low back ache can be troublesome. While strong pills and capsules may give you temporary relief, they do not address the core issue and have a number of side effects. Ayurveda on the other hand, addresses the trigger and has no side effects.

Intrigued! Take a look at these Ayurvedic techniques to cure low back pain:

  • Cut out on spices: We may think it unrelated, but low back pain is often accompanied by indigestion. Spinal cord nerves connect to back muscles and digestive organs. Hence, a small change in your diet can have a great impact on your health. Spicy food aggravates the digestive system and has a drying effect on the body. By cutting back on spices and oil, the digestive system can work better and there will be less stress on the nerves connecting the spinal cord and back muscles and thus result in lesser back aches.
  • Warm your body: According to Ayurveda, back pains are caused by an increase in vata dosha or the amount of air and ether elements in the body. Warming the body can help lower these levels. Apply a heat pack to the back as a way of keeping the external body surface warm. Additionally, add warm food to your diet. This opens out any blockages in your digestive system and in turn reduces low back pain.
  • Padahastasana: Ayurveda is very closely linked to yoga. Padahastasana is a yoga asana which addresses lower back pain by opening up the digestive channels and allowing the vata dosha to flow easily through the body. To practice this asana, stand with your legs together and lift your arms straight above your head while inhaling. As you exhale, bend forward from the hips while keeping your back and legs straight. Try and touch your toes. Hold the position for as long as possible and come back to the starting position while inhaling.
  • Anuloma Viloma: Anuloma Viloma is a breathing exercise that balances the vata dosha. This is a technique that involves breathing from alternate nostrils. To begin, close the right nostril with your thumb and inhale through the left nostril. Close both nostrils and hold your breath for a few seconds. Then, release through the left nostril. Repeat this process, starting from the left nostril.
  • Bishop's weed seed tea: Tea made from the seeds of Bishop's weed is can provide instant pain relief from low back pains. This is suitable for men and women of all ages except those with heart problems.

The core principle of Ayurveda is to listen to your body's messages. These techniques will help you become more tuned to your body's needs and keep you free from back aches.
