I am 27 years suffering from tooth gum disease and teeth pain please advise me what medication suitable for gum disease.
- use a soft toothbrush -- and brush properly! brush your teeth for at least two minutes twice a day and after meals. Hard brushing can further damage the soft tissues of your mouth. - floss at least once a day and be sure to floss beyond the gum line to remove more plaque. - control bleeding by applying pressure to the area with a cold compress. - rinse with salt water or hydrogen peroxide to keep the area clean. Avoid mouthwashes that contain alcohol, which can dry out your mouth. - stay away from smoking and other tobacco products, which can aggravate bleeding gums. - eat a balanced diet and limit snacking between meals. Carbohydrates and sugars feed dental plaque. - try an oral irrigation device, commonly known as a" water pick, to clear debris from around the gum line. - have your dentures aligned as needed. - you may need deep cleaning along with surgical curettage or gum strengthening procedure. Use pepsodent tooth paste & gum paint for 2 to 3 weeks. Advance procedures can be done with laser.

Once the cap is fixed there will not be any space. Its advised to cap your teeth as soon as possibe. Pain in already capped teeth could be of accumulation of food debris that need to be cleaned and the teeth should be checked for any other infections. Cost of fillling vary according to the material placed and nature of the treatment. Kindly consult a dentist in person for further suggestion. We need more investigations with clinical examination to decide upon treatment.

Getting a tooth extracted at the age of 24 is not at all a good choice of treatment, unless there is no other treatment option possible for that tooth. If a root canal treatment is possible, it is best to save the tooth and restore it with a dental crown.

You have got crown placement (cap) over the tooth after rct? X ray has to be taken and needs to be checked if that tooth has any crack or the RCT done if intact. After rct your tooth ideally should not have any pain.

Dental health and your general health are very closely related. Kindly get your dental health check-up done at regular basis. Also you need to keep your dentist aware about your general health and any specific medications you are taking on a regular basis.

Asking your doctor if an antiobiotic medicine can be taken is advisable as it can help in reducing the infection and swelling. It can also be taken after the treatment for faster healing.

The type of treatment you have for toothache /sensitivity/swelling will depend on the cause of the pain, so your dentist will examine your mouth and may carry out an X-ray to try to identify the problem. •If your toothache / sensitivity/swelling is caused by tooth decay, your dentist will remove the decayed area and replace it with a filling. •If your toothache / sensitivity/swelling is caused by a loose or broken filling, the filling will be taken out, any decay will be removed and a new filling put in place. •If the pulp inside your tooth is infected, you may need root canal treatment. This procedure involves removing the infected pulp and then inserting a special type of filling to seal the tooth and prevent re-infection. •If your toothache / sensitivity/swelling can't be treated using these methods, or if your tooth is impacted (wedged between another tooth and your jaw), it may need to be removed.
