Feeling depressed, sad and disinterested in surroundings and bursting into tears (emotional sensitivity) suggests a depressive disorder which definitely needs urgent evaluation and treatment. Consult me online or a psychiatrist in your vicinity for help and treatment.

Most sex headaches are nothing to worry about. But some can be related to problems with the blood vessels of brain. Also with use of some medications, such as birth control pills. Magnetic resonance angiography (mra) and computerized tomography (ct) angiography may diagnose. Some medications may be taken daily to prevent sex headaches. They're recommended only if she has frequent or prolonged attacks. These are anti-migraine medications and can be taken an hour before sex to prevent headaches.

Thank you for writing to us. Please note the following for your condition: Migraine headache triggers: Whatever the exact mechanism of the headaches, a number of things may trigger them. Common migraine triggers include: Foods. Aged cheeses, salty foods and processed foods may trigger migraines. Skipping meals or fasting also can trigger attacks. Food additives. The sweetener aspartame and the preservative monosodium glutamate, found in many foods, may trigger migraines. Drinks. Alcohol, especially wine, and highly caffeinated beverages may trigger migraines. Stress. Stress at work or home can cause migraines. Sensory stimuli. Bright lights and sun glare can induce migraines, as can loud sounds. Unusual smells — including perfume, paint thinner, secondhand smoke and others — can trigger migraines in some people. Changes in wake-sleep pattern. Missing sleep or getting too much sleep may trigger migraines in some people, as can jet lag. Physical factors. Intense physical exertion, including sexual activity, may provoke migraines. Changes in the environment. A change of weather or barometric pressure can prompt a migraine. Medications. Vasodilators, such as nitroglycerin, can aggravate migraines. Use Lavender Oil--Not only does lavender smell great — it’s also a useful home remedy for headaches and migraine pain. Lavender oil can be either inhaled or applied topically. Two to four drops for every two to three cups of boiling water are recommended when inhaling lavender-oil vapors as a headache treatment. Unlike many medicinal oils, this home remedy can also be safely applied externally without the need to dilute it. Lavender oil should not be taken orally. Thanks.

Alzheimer's - 10 Tips to Help Dementia Patients Cope with their Problem

World Alzheimer’s Day is celebrated on the 21st of September each year. A number of organizations, from all over the world concentrate on raising the awareness about Alzheimer’s disease and dementia. Alzheimer’s disease is a very common type of dementia. It falls under the group of disorders in which mental functioning gets impaired. Life for an Alzheimer’s patients is quite difficult, but by following the following tips, you can support yourself and will also help you to cope with it.

  1. You have to accept the changes and accept that life will continue getting difficult. Instead of trying to cover your difficulties for protection from embarrassment, you should face the fact. You also have to accept the changes in your physical abilities and adapt to skills, which are beneficial.
  2. You should develop some ideal coping strategies. Try to be occupied and involved and respond to the challenges you face in everyday life. By practicing the coping skills you will be able to gain a sense of control in your life.
  3. Try to identify stuff. Make a list of all the tasks which seem challenging to you and try to develop coping strategies for these tasks. Prioritize your tasks and determine whether it is really necessary to overcome certain tasks. You should also strategize solutions and come up with solutions which would suit you best.
  4. You should set realistic goals and expectations for yourself and use the coping skills to deal with difficult tasks. In case of very challenging tasks, do not hesitate to take help.
  5. A daily routine or plan is required for keeping a track of several tasks. A schedule reduces the amount of time you spend to figure out something, simplifying your task and also prevents mistakes.
  6. Always approach one task at a time and take enough time to complete tasks. Do not give up on challenging tasks and take breaks to figure things out.
  7. Always remember that you have more than a single chance to solve problems. If one chance fails, you should adopt new strategies and try again and again with better assessment.
  8. You should identify the triggers which cause anxiety and stress. Knowing the causes will allow you to plan in advance so that you can prevent them.
  9. Keep in mind that your family, friends, pets, will power and prayers are sources of great strength and will help you get past any obstacle.
  10. You should accept help from others and do not hesitate or think about being dependent on others.

You should take the advice from your psychiatrist or from Alzheimer Association National Early-Stage Advisors in order to understand the challenges such as medications, management of schedules and dealing with emotional or relationship changes.

Migraine is a kind of relapsing headache. Its symptoms include - episodic unilateral or bilateral, severe and pulsating headaches, associated at times with nausea and vomiting, relieved momentarily on rest or taking medications and aggravated by precipitating factors. The treatment of migraine is mainly done for relief from acute headache attacks and later treatments to prevent future relapses. Also treatment of factors which tend to cause relapses is also important. Consult a headache specialist for a composite and complete treatment. You may contact me online for further queries and assistance in treatment in this regard.

If used judiciously and cautiously it may be useful remedy, but as a routine one should not apply hot packs. Constant exposure to heat after many years is known to produce damage to tissue, skin ulcer and cancer (for example" kangri cancer").

I have seizures problem for past seven years it can't stopped it comes in the morning 2 to 3 time in a few sec 2 or 3 sec I am taking tablets regular can you please give me suggestion for stop seizures.

BHMS
Homeopath, Sindhudurg
The term epilepsy covers a group of disorders of brain function characterized by sudden attacks (seizures). The seizures are commonly labeled grand or petit mal. Conventional treatment attempts to subdue or suppress the seizures with sedatives but offers no cure. Homeopathy offers a cure in 2-5 years depending on the severity of the case. We have many complete cures where the patient remains seizure free after being slowly weaned off the conventional drugs. The return of eeg readings to normal confirms the success of homeopathic treatment. Please note that while many cases of epilepsy reslove under homeopathic treatment it can often take a year or so for the seizures to stop.
