Hi, Some people can have serious problems trying to communicate with peers that are associated with feelings of anxiety or fear. If this is something you deal with, you may have a social phobia, also called social anxiety disorder. There are many steps you can take to help you deal more effectively with day to day interactions. Social anxiety disorder can cause you to think negative thoughts about yourself when faced with a social situation. You may think" I'll look like a fool" or" I'm going to humiliate myself. The first step to overcoming them is to identify the thoughts when they pop into you head. Knowing what is causing social phobia can help you overcome it. Stop yourself when you think these thoughts and say" No, I will not look like a fool. I am strong and competent and I'm going to get through this. After you have confronted and identified the thoughts, analyze the fear. Try to overwrite the negative thoughts in your brain with positive, realistic ones. Ask yourself questions about your negative thoughts. For example, ask" Do I know I'm going to humiliate myself" or" How do I know I'm going to blow my presentation? Then ask yourself" Will it be the end of the world if I mess up? The logical answers to the questions are: more than likely, you will not humiliate yourself or mess up. Even if you do mess up, you are human, as is everyone watching you. Even professionals mess up. Often times social fears can be a result of thinking that everyone around you is passing judgment on you. If so, take a step back, and realize that most people aren't focused on you. If they are focused on you, they are not thinking the same negative thoughts as you are. Don't try to read people's minds. You can't know what people are thinking. Plus, they do not see the same negative self that you see in your mind. Use social situations to practice changing negative thoughts about yourself, and practice stopping and altering your thoughts about judgement from others What you can do is Change your focus. One of the ways to help reduce your anxiety is to take the focus off of yourself in social situations. Try to pay attention to your surroundings, the conversation, and connecting with the people around you. Begin to understand that although you are focused with how others will think of you, everyone else is not as focused on you. If you say or do something embarrassing, others may not even notice. Or if they do, they will quickly forget it. Try to focus on other things when you notice your physical symptoms in social situations. You are not being as obvious as you think. It is very rare that others can notice physical symptoms of anxiety or even panic attacks. Instead notice your experience of the event, such as music you hear, how each bite of food tastes, or other entertainment such as art or dancing. Most people are just as nervous in social situations as you are. They are too busy focused on themselves Make observable goals for yourself. Getting over your social anxiety may seem like a nebulous process. How do you know if you are getting better? Just putting yourself in social situations isn't enough. That might be step 1, but after that, you need to work on interacting more. Make goals for yourself for each social outing. As you accomplish your goals, you can start to see progress and improvement in yourself. Make small talk with people you see often, such as employees, schoolmates, or other people that you come in contact with. This may be just a comment on the weather, your homework or work project, or the meeting you had earlier. Start by giving yourself a goal of speaking to one person once a week. Then increase it to every day, or speaking to multiple people in one day. Make a goal to make one comment in class or in your meeting. Don't worry about what everyone else thinks. Focus on the fact that you did it. That is progress. If you are in a group setting, make a pact with yourself to say at least 3 comments in the conversation. Ask someone to dinner. It can be as a friend or as a date. Don't focus on the response - only focus on the fact that you were assertive and asked. This helps you focus on the task and the goal, not the nerves. The idea here is to get control of the situation. You know you can control what you do, what you say, and what you ask. You can't control the other person, so don't worry about them. You can even try practicing with a friend at home what you’ll do or say in social situations. Practice deep breathing. Deep breathing can be a great way to manage anxiety during or before social situations. Deep breathing can help reduce the physical symptoms of your anxiety, many of which are a result of breathing too quickly. Do breathing exercises everyday so it becomes second nature and comes naturally when you're in a stressful situation. Breathe through your abdomen, not your chest. To do this, lay on the floor or sit straight in a chair. Place a hand on your chest, the other on your abdomen. As you inhale, the hand on your abdomen should move while the one on your chest stays mostly at the same place. Inhale slowly and deeply through your nose. Hold for a count of 7. Exhale slowly through your mouth for a count of 8. Gently contract your abdominal muscles to get all the air from the lungs. This is extremely important. Complete 5 deep breaths. Try 1 deep breath per 10 seconds. You will have set backs. This happens to everyone. Don't dwell on failure. Remember, you are learning. Think of ways that you will do better next time. Find people who are right for you. Choose those who make you happiest over those who look popular and cool. Be comfortable. They're just people, and there are over 7 billion of them in the world.

If it's not very severe, then try this. 1. Eat sprouted fresh fenugreek (Methi) seeds about 20 gm daily mixing them with vegetables. 2. Eat bitter gourd vegetable daily or alternate day. 3. Walk for 30 minutes daily. 4. Take 10 days holidays and rest compulsorily every six months. 5. practise Yoga and Pranayam daily.

Hello, If there has been a delayed ovulation then you ma conceive, however you may rule out pregnancy at the earliest by 7 days post sex with a serum beta hcg test.

This could b either due to sensitivity due to loss of enamel surface or due to decay of tooth. Tooth decay can b treated by filling of tooth or by rct n capping of the decay is deep. Sensitivity can b reduced by using desensitizing toothpaste such as senquelF or sensodyne toothpaste by rubbing some amount of toothpaste onto ur tooth surface n wait till 5 mins before rinsing it off. Get ur teeth evaluated by dentist to know the cause of ur problem n get treated accordingly. Regsrds.

Your Daily food intake should ideally consist of – a. Have plenty of nuts, dry fuits and seeds. Almonds, walnuts, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, figs, dates and raisins. They are full of healthy fats needed by a human body. B. Good amount of fruits and vegetables – Bananas, apples, pomegranate, green leafy vegetables. Fruits and vegetables helps in absorption of food in the body and together, completes your daily nutrition need. C. If you are a non- vegetarian - Eat eggs, chicken etc. D. Eat whole grains – Try to have multi grains spread throughout the day. Wheat, brown rice, oats, bajra, daliya etc should be taken in multiple meals in a day. E. Eat Sprouts – Chana and moong which are full of protein and nutrients. F. You can supplement your diet with good quality multi-vitamin capsules. If you are lacking in protein, you can buy a high quality whey protein and have it with banana shake twice a day. G. *To control the oily secretion you should maintain your hormonal level. Because imbalance in hormone level causes excessive oily secretion on face. So do not take stress and do exercise daily such as running, jogging. Do long breathing pranayams daily for 10 minutes. • Drink 7 -8 glass of water daily. Apply rose water on your face daily for 5 minutes. * Take proper sleep of 6 to 7 hrs daily. • Use a face pack of fuller's earth (multani mitti) with rose water one time in a day for seven days. It removes toxins from skin. *You can apply cucumber juice or mixed with curd for 5 minutes and rinse with water.

Hye. Thank you for your query. It's possible you are keeping very long gaps in between meals or skipping meals. This causes a drop in energy levels leading to this kind of reaction. This then causes you to overeat in the next meal. Try to eat frequent regular meals. Avoid a gap of more than 3 hours in between two meals.

Just do this small exercise. Sleep with legs raised up from waist against the wall making 90 degree angle with upper part of body. For 10-15 mins. Your headache will be relieved.

vai means gas , we cannot ignore your problem of pain on left side of heart ( you mean chest ?) Get a basic cardiac profile done like lipid profile , ECG. Echo and blood sugar and take care about your diet , stop eating the food that causes gas , Every human is aware of his/her constitution , some of my patients get gas with moong daal !

Hello, Take time to have bread fast. Atleast you can have an apple, while driving to work. Pls dont skip the regular diet, which gives such side effects. Add protein supplement to your diet, which help you keep active. Also multivitamins. Calcium and bone health for back pain.

Dear Lybrate User, Increasing weight does not mean that you will go fatty. In fact, extra fat serves as a precursor of many diseases. In order to increase your weight as well as stay healthy you have to increase the muscle mass of your body. First of all let me tell you that there is no shortcuts in the process of muscle gain. Increasing muscle volume & strength is a highly complicated process which is influenced by various internal & external factors. In the following article you will get a glimpse of that highly complicated process as well as some of its influencing factors. I have made utmost effort in the following article to oversimplify the total process & the factors so that it would be easy to understand for you Normally a muscle undergoes an increase in size when it gets hypertrophied due to weight training. Weight-training leads to the pumping of blood to the muscle resulting in increased protein synthesis in the muscles. This applies to every muscles of human body. So, weight training is a must to increase weight. All type of exercises can be classified under two broad headings:- (1) HIIT or High Intensity Interval Training (2) LISS or Low intensity Steady Stamina. In short just remember that HIIT is weight training & LISS is cardio exercise like swimming & running. Both the form of exercise increases the rate of metabolism. But if your goal is to increase lean muscle mass of your body then you should stick to weight training aka HIIT The basic role behind the process of increase in lean muscle in human body is played by Metabolism. Metabolism is the set of life-sustaining chemical transformations within the cells of living organisms. The three main purposes of metabolism are the conversion of food/fuel to energy to run cellular processes, the conversion of food/fuel to building blocks for proteins, lipids, nucleic acids, and some carbohydrates, and the elimination of nitrogenous wastes. In order to add mass to your muscle you need to increase your rate of metabolism. Once your rate of metabolism or BMR is increased you will be able to achieve your goals There is an internal factor which controls & triggers metabolism. It is the TESTOSTERONE hormone secreted by your body. This TESTOSTERONE hormone plays an important role in the development of the lean muscle. An increased TESTOSTERONE level will help you to achieve your goal of muscle development in a considerable less time. Just follow these three basic rules during exercising:- 1) Do not rest for more than 1 minute between sets 2) Do not exercise for more than 60 minutes continuously 3) Progressive overload is necessary to increase your muscle mass Now lets come to your diet. Whenever a muscle gets hypertrophied it demands protein to expand. Here comes the need of excess protein in your diet. It is another vital part of increasing muscle mass. You may have noticed that professional body-builders take supplements according to a fixed schedule. They take 40 grams of whey just after waking from sleep at morning. They take another 20 grams of whey just 30 minutes before workout. Again they take 40 grams of whey just after finishing workout. Now you are a normal person & unless you have any intention to compete in bodybuilding competition you do not need to follow the above timings of whey protein. In fact you can get the extra protein from your diet only. Try to take 50- 70 grams of protein daily. That would be sufficient for your daily need in initial stage. As you continue progressive overload then you should also increase your protein intake. Excess protein produces excess harmful urea. Our kidney has to function more to excrete this excess harmful urea from our body. So excess protein creates excess pressure on our kidneys. For better reasons try to take protein from plant origin. Protein obtained from animal sources like meat & egg are found to play an important role in cancer. Just after exercise the rate of metabolism is increased but to maintain that increased rate of metabolism or BMR throughout the rest of the day you should need to make some little changes in your food habit. Just think of your body as a furnace & the fire as metabolism. If you add 10 kg of wood to the fire all of a sudden then the temperature of the fire will be increased suddenly but it would not last long. So in order to maintain the constant temperature of the fire it would be wise to add 1 kg of wood after every interval of 1 hour. Same happens with our body. You need to provide food to your body at certain intervals so that the rate of metabolism remains constant. I am giving a description of your food timings:- Drink a glass of water as soon as you wake up Take some pre workout nutrition Exercise for not more than 60 minutes Take a heavy breakfast within 30 minutes of exercise Take a midday snack comprising of fruits or nuts after 2 hours of breakfast Take your lunch within 2 hours after having midday snack Take an evening snack comprising of fruits or nuts after 2 hours of lunch Take your dinner at least 2 hours before going to bed Get an uninterrupted sleep for at least 7-8 hours daily Throughout the rest of the day try to drink a glass (300 ml) of cold water after every one hour If you have a habit of masturbation then you should keep a minimum gap of 5 hours between exercise & masturbation. Just after ejaculation of sperm a sudden decrease in the amount of TESTOSTERONE hormone occurs. So it would not be wise to masturbate either just before or just after exercising. Kindly remember gaining weight is a time -taking process. So do not expect any result within fortnight.

I am 25 years old married women my quest is on april 5th was my last period in may it was 10 days late so I thought i am pregnant I was planning to do pregnancy test but on 14 th I was having stomach pain and also I had some bleeding so I have seen in net that spotting is the symptoms of pregnancy the stomach pain was like normal pain like periods so I want to no whether im I pregnant or its a misscarriage. In the 1st trimester there is a risk of bleeding present, but we can not say it is miscarriage, and also you complained pain abdomen so better you consult gynecologist for further follow up.

A quick and easy solution can be found in your kitchen or your nearest grocery store — lemon juice. Lemons have vitamin C that can lighten dark spots on your face. It’s easy to apply. Put some fresh lemon juice on a cotton ball and rub it directly on the affected skin area. 1. Allow it to dry and then wash it off with plain water. 2. Continue applying this dark spot removal home remedy for at least two weeks to get the desired result. If you have delicate or sensitive skin, you can dilute the lemon juice with plain water, rosewater, or honey. You can also use lime juice to get rid of black spots, applying it in the same manner as described above.

Dear friend be relaxed do regular yoga and pranayam do regular exercise do regular kegel exercise take youvan churna by patanjali 2tsf 2 times with milk cap ashwagandha 60 1 1 apply himcolin gel before intercourse read instructions on pack.
