Haemorrhoids or piles are the rectal vein engorgement and protrution to the rectal canal. This may happen due to portal venous congestion, intra abdominal pressure, chronic constipation. Etc. Now a days improper Food habits are the main reason for the condition. Advice. Avoid sitting cross legged. Avoid squatting- quadriceps exercises- lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. Core strengthening exercise- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Hams stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. Repeat 10 times, twice a day. Sports taping- stretch the tape from both ends and apply on the affected area contrast fomentation (hot and cold).

I have been feeling like burning in both sole and some less in legs since one week while sitting & working in office. From today it is continue of burning sensation even in home during sitting or laying. Please suggest.

MBBS

I have been feeling like burning in both sole and some less in legs since one week while sitting & working in office....
There are two reason why there s burning sensation. One coz of excess body heat which in turn coz of low water intake. Second coz of micro arterial insufficiency which in turn coz of many reason viz, diabetes, high bp, deficiency of vitamins, excessive fatigue. If you have any of the above problem you need to take care. If none, then a course of multivitamin would do the trick plus pampering the foot as well as legs will be better idea. If nothing above works better consult a doc!

The pain may be due to age related osteoarthritis of knee. Kindly do thigh muscle strengthening exercises like sitting on chair and lifting the leg straight hold for 10 sec and then relax repeat for 10 times in day and evening. Avoid climbing stairs, sitting down crossed legs, squatting, walking on uneven surfaces, hope this will relieve your pain.
